Bad management! But if you do decide to go, Amanda was very kind and professional. She waxed my eye brows. I don’t notice much difference for $21 but maybe that’s just my face. So feel free to check out the immediate-before and immediate after-photos from different parts of the parking lot.I am giving a 2 star review instead of 5 because of the manager and the receptionist. I like to share positive reviews on Google when I have a good experience because I don’t believe we promote the good experiences as often as we should. I didn’t want to weird out the receptionist by taking a picture of the sign behind her, so I asked if it was OK to photograph the sign behind her for a positive online review. She got really weird and ran to ask a manager (which, I literally could have taken the photo when she ran off but I was still aghast from her response to begin with). It was sincerely the strangest reaction I ever had... until her manager walked out. She begin to berate me about the privacy of her clients and told me that if I wanted to buy my own decorations that they were available at the dollar store down the road... I clarified that I was simply referencing photographing the “European Wax Center” sign behind the counter because I wanted to write a positive review... and she just awkwardly sort of back pedaled her words but ended with another rude statement about respecting the privacy of her clients... So I simply stated I was no longer interested in writing my positive review with the inclusion of their interior design efforts and dropped off my gratuity envelope for Amanda.I believe in supporting local businesses, including franchises. I don’t honestly know if this is a franchised location. But I was so sorely appalled by the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of the manager, that I really have no interest in returning. I don’t continue business with establishments that don’t respect their clientele. Especially if that disrespect comes from a manger. Additionally unfortunate when that disrespect comes completely unwarranted against a kind, paying customer seeking to write a positive review online.There are plenty of places nearby to get your eyebrows done for about the same price or cheaper. I know next time I’ll be trying somewhere else.

Place is clean. Ladies are friendly. Have been going here for years. My waxer Amamda is great. She is awesome with my funky eyebrow with the scar so it doesnt show the bald spot.

Everything about this place was professional. I have nothing bad to say about the business. It was my first time coming in but not my first time getting waxed. I was paired with Mia or Nia. She was nice and thorough with instructions. However, I went in and got a patchy European wax. I was left with a lot of long hairy patches and when I got home I realized she had left little pieces of wax! The only reason I came here was because my original wax salon was completely booked out.

A very clean, lovely, and safe place to get a wax. Competitive prices. My esthetician was a nice, knowledgeable person and did a very good job. I felt pressured to buy products, although the cashier didnt know how much they were. That was creepy to me. I also felt pressured to buy into a membership, which I declined.

I have been visiting this location since 2016. They offer all the services I need and the professional staff is always on time.

Great company as long as you dont have a dispute. Then they do not honor their agreements. My wife happily used them but when she decided to cancel a newly purchased package (which she had 30 days to do) was given the run around and eventually a store credit instead of a refund. The assistant manager KIMBERLY literally had the nerve to tell me that I need to talk to my wife about where she spends her money instead of talking to them. This was after we had patiently waited for four or more WEEKS for their credit card system to get back up. KIMBERLY said that my wife and I raised our voices and of course we did because she would never let us talk. The owner of the company can verify that I spoke with another gentleman (Trey) at reception and never had that problem.I have already reached out to their corporate office and will be filing a lawsuit if this issue isnt fully resolved by January 31st 2020. Of course KIMBERLY has the attitude, since she is not the owner, to go ahead and sue them but she doesnt fully understand the cost that will be inflicted on all parties involved. A cost as a licensed attorney I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO ACCOMMODATE.It would also seem to me that if you are in customer service you probably NEVER want to make one of your clients cry but KIMBERLY apparently seems to think thats OK

Love the Mesa location. The front desk clerks are helpful and have great attitudes. Jasmine is my tech and is professional and does an amazing job. Quick and easy and love that it lasts at least 6weeks.

Victoria was awesome! Fast and pretty much painless, and she makes sure all the hair is gone!

Danielle did an awesome job on my eyebrows and I was not one bit afraid. She even gave me encouragement to come back and have my arms and stomach done as well. I simply told her that I dont like the amount of hair that have in both of those locations. She said No Problem, we can take care of that. So I will be scheduling an appointment with her in a couple weeks to have the hair removed in those areas. Thanks again Danielle for such Wonderful Service and advice. European Wax Center is AWESOME and I would refer them to anyone!

Love this location! The employees are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable and in good care. I always see Sarah for my Brazilians. She does an excellent job and is very kind, professional, and makes me feel at ease while getting a service done that could be uncomfortable and awkward to some!

I saw Tianna for the first time today, she was incredible. I will not see anyone else. I have been to 4 different EWC locations and seen many wax specialists and she was by far the best I have ever seen. Thank you Tianna! Give that girl a raise!

This was my first visit at a European Wax Center. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. My waxer , Kiana, was amazing, friendly and addressed all of my concerns. I will be returning in the future.

Victoria has been my wax tech for over a year. Shes amazing at her job and really cares about her clients. I recommend her to all of my friends. The location is great. They have a few new changes upfront but all and all this is a great place and the staff is nice.

They were able to get me in last minute and my waxer was terrific.

I had my third visit with Tawny yesterday. She showed knowledge with her services and showed compassion for any pain I experienced. I decided to buy 12 visits with her and this saves me some money so that I can tip Tawny as she deserves.

Rene is my esthetician and she is always so kind and helpful. Everyone seems to be extremely professional.

Its very clean and the staffs use to be very polite and nice. But depending on the waxing technician, you can be very upset after double checking their service... Most of them do not leave the waxed areas completely smooth. :(

Best waxing facility I have been to! All their waxers are great! Im always in and out fast! Definitely recommend to anyone, especially if it is your first time waxing, they make you feel so relaxed and comfortable!

I have been to the val vista European wax center before, they were wonderful to work with and had great customer service. Called the Mesa location to try an schedule a brow wax, the person on the phone was so rude I hung up and decided to drive the extra free miles to go to the val vista location.
