I had a wonderful experience here! I asked for a surprise haircut and I love how it turned out. Ayn is very skilled and creative with her hair styling! I will be returning again for future haircuts and styling. Ive also gotten my hair colored in the past, and Ive always had an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

I am rating a 3 because my daughters hair came out better, however it was done by another lady, simple color highlight & cut.Me on the other hand.....Went in with somewhat healthy straight hair, thick hair to the middle of my back-for a perm, I was excited for a change. What appeared to look somewhat pretty once the rods came out and still wet, the end result- it was a major disappointment. She hardly cut any ends off, just a snip here and there and she was done and gone, I never saw her again & I was there an additional 2 hours with my daughter.The next day my hair was fried and the curl looked like old thick yarn. She left the silver clip around my bangs while the solution settled in, they were damaged and had a major crease from the clip. The solution did not get to all the rods, several spots of my hair did not curl, they were fried and strands of hair was coming out. The curls were not consistent, some wavy some twirly/twisted looking.I cried for over a week so embarrassed. I ended up going to another salon to try and fix this mess. She tried a deep conditioner and and hot oil treatment mix and I went back the next day, that didnt work, so she cut 3 inches off to attempt to start the hair to grow back healthierand my bangs had to be cut so short - I look like I allowed a child to cut my hair. Needless to say this was the biggest disappointment for anything I have ever done with my hair! What perm/curl left I have to deal with it unless I want to shave my hair off. Lost money, time & a lot of hair!! Funny thing is she took a before picture but never did take an after picture it makes me wonder if she knew exactly how messed up my hair truly was?!?!

Had a great experience. I havent had bangs since I was a little girl so I was hesitant about getting them again but my stylist did a wonderful job and it looks great! She was very friendly aswell. Good at keeping conversation without making it awkward wich is usually my issue, but she was very easy to talk to. Will definitely come back for bang trims and any other cuts I want to get done. :)

I have visited this salon 3 times now for hair coloring. The first two I can in with pictures and ideas and my stylist Amanda rocked it. Amanda also colors her own hair in crazy colors too so this last visit I gave her free rein to do whatever and surprise me. As per usual she rocked it and I love my new color(s)

Having just moved to the area from Canada and being locked down for 15 months, it was nice to finally get my haircut and styled. Sara was very friendly. She asked me how I wanted certain things done and when I asked her opinion I decided to go with what she recommended.I will be returning next week to get my hair coloured and I appreciate that she was willing to come in early to accommodate me.It was also nice gesture with the new client welcome coupons.

She listened to my goals and concerns, then achieved results that were even better than I could have imagined! Jenette gave me highlights and she did a really good job on my hair and dealing with me when I started getting a little panicky. I thought she was leaving the bleach in too long but Tamara and her explained it was not processing once she let it air dry. So Im thankful that they were nice to me and talked to me instead of having an attitude or something like they couldve. And jenette went over hair care with me and she was just really nice and I like my hair so... 5/5.

Ive been going here for a few years and have had Desteny cut my hair. I started going here because its a local place. Previously had done the cheapo chain places which were definitely hit or miss. In these places youre lucky to get a decent haircut, and if you do, the person cutting your hair most likely was long gone before youd go again. Desteny is super cool, does a great job on my hair every single time, and the price they charged was about the same as those cheapo chains! It was a no-brainer to keep going back. They are very clean and are aware of all of the Covid stuff and are very accommodating. Also if you have an appointment, theyll text reminders to you if you want. Im a dude and highly recommend Divine Hair Design !

I was planning to given it 5 star until I came home and checked my hair into the mirror closely. Everything was going great.... best service and right color, trendy hair cut and hair style and everything but only from top. I have very dark black base colored hair and as I have not done color for 8 months some gray hair of may be 3-5 inches length at the front half portion. They colored my hair (Mahogany) as per my requirement but my grey hair are still grey ...no change at all !!!! Whats the point of coloring your hair when the basic root touch up itself is not done. I mean seriously should I have to tell them that I want to color my hair but please color gray hair also specifically?? Because isnt it the basic requirement of coloring?? And to be very honest, They applied the toner all over my front portion of hair, so I was literally thinking it will obviously take care of my grey hair. But no my grey hair are still there. And now It is looking really really bad. I am really very disappointed. I wasted my money and time. Never ever going back again.

I was going to Mexico the morning of the appointment (4 am) so, I had my sister call in as soon as she could because, I lost service during the ride to Mexico. She told me that she called in that same morning. They still made me pay the $50 fee deposit hold. I didnt call the day before because, maybe they werent open that day but, Im not too sure (either that, or it was a holiday, again, Im not sure). They should have at least warned me or told me about their cancellation policy. Im unhappy.

So glad I gave this place a chance!! Amanda is a perfectionist! I’m so happy with my hair! I was feeling really crusty before and I walked out feeling like 100 bucks!! Great price too! Thank you!

I took my 8 year old daughter in there to get her hair cut and all the ladies in there are so professional and so kind. They took great care of my daughter, especially Destiny, she was was OUTSTANDING with my daughter . We will be definitely coming back to see Destiny , she is outstanding

I had really high hopes for this place based on the ratings, especially because this was my first time going to someone new. I went in for a consultation with PHOTOS of what I wanted. I wanted something drastic and different so I had 2 photos in case my first choice didn’t work out. My first choice was balayage blonde with dark roots. After quoting me almost $300 I said no, let’s do the second photo. The second was short hair with curtain bangs, light balayage with dark roots, AGAIN, although I said I only wanted the cut. The stylist, Sara, then convinced me she “could get that same affect” with something called a “mini” which was like “light subtle highlights, and it was cheaper!” So obviously I said yes. I went in on Friday and showed her the photo a third time just to be sure that’s what we were doing and she said OK. I wanted the length the same and I emphasized “not a bob, but to my shoulders” and I showed her with my hands. I also have curly hair and she knew I wore it that way, which means you need to account for that extra inch of curl with the length. After the coloring and cutting, I look in the mirror COMPLETELY shocked to see my hair is STREAKED with blonde all over my roots, there is a huge brassy line across the front of my head where she just creased the bleach and ignored it! And she GAVE. ME. A. BOB. After which she KEPT CUTTING, didn’t even ask me first, just chopped another inch off so now my hair looks like a dandelion with my curls! I called back with my complaint and they rescheduled me for that following Monday. The owner was very polite and kind in understanding my dissatisfaction and agreed to refund me for the color job. She did assign the same stylist, Sara, to fix my hair and she came up to me saying “sorry you didn’t love it”… which is completely unnecessary and rude. Already bothered, she then began slapping dye in my hair, super rushed, to make it all the same color and get the blonde out. She put wet dye pieces of my hair on my face and stained my eyebrow and cheek! As well as my arm and hand? I’m assuming when she bumped me with her wet glove and said nothing. Finally after the dye job they appointed someone else to cut my hair and she was amazing. Did exactly what I asked and made sure to talk me through it. I got home and dried my hair and I STILL HAVE BLONDE STREAKS everywhere. The effort was NOT there. I gave her a chance to fix the mistake and I completely regret this entire decision to go to this salon. Which is a shame because it’s only this one stylist that gave me the worst attitude and attention to what I asked out of everyone there.

The fact that the Salon observes the Sabbath is important to me as well. I have had haircuts, highlights, full color as well as vibrant on color. Every time the service was excellent. Being new to this side of town, I was searching for someplace that could help me get my haircut back to where I wanted it to be. I have an undercut pixie that has grown out WAY too long. I dont know if you call a 10 minute haircut (after waiting 20 minutes for $30.00) a styling. I had a bad feeling after the wait I should have left than. Plus I have never been asked if I wanted my hair dryed which was another $20.00 I had to ask her to repeat it. She asked me to touch and tell her how it felt (I want to know how it looks not feels. Thats what happens when your desperate. I will stick with Hair Attractions on Baseline even if I have to drive further. They do hair styling!

I really loved this place and previously would give it 5, but recently the receptionist, a young woman with dark hair and glasses came right next to me and coughed so hard on me it moved my hair. I didnt say anything because I needed my service finished. About half the people not wearing masks, one customer was talking loudly about how he was still quarantining. Up until recently this salon was very clean. I did notice different staff that day.

I went here for years before the pandemic and a few times after they opened salins back up. If I lived closer, I would be a regular customer like I used to be. They always did a great job!

Desteny is AMAZING!!! Her skill with color always impresses me! I love how she custom blends my color, even the other stylists compliment how pretty it is. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I see Gabriella and she is awesome for keeping myself basically platinum blonde!! I’m on a 4 week schedule at this salon and they always make sure to keep me from having my roots. Gabriella has always been on time (easily one of the best things!!) and always makes sure to maintain the integrity of my hair! I’m super happy with the use of Redken products to keep my long hair soft and unsplit - especially when so much bleaching is involved. I recommend this salon and Gabriella every-time I receive compliments; certainly happy to have y’all around! Front desk staff always greets me in and even remembers myself by name when I arrive also. Just happy and feelin’ my best self from here always!

I was always skeptical on who I chose to cut my hair. When I found Divine Hair Design online I feel no body has cut my hair the way Destiny did on my 1st visit Friday. Destiny did exactly what I wanted. I told her give me a wig cut look. My husband was like wow. Nailed it. Very nice and makes you feel comfortable. I will return.

After 5 months of not getting my hair done oh, I was able to get into Gabby at Divine Hair Salon. She was wonderful to work with and very friendly. I had a specific haircut that I wanted and I needed my grays covered and I wanted highlights. My hair came out perfect in color and cut. My husband was very impressed with the color and the length, he said that I should make sure I go back to Gabby because she did a really good job. I have already recommended her for some of my friends.

Men have actually commented that my hair is is beautiful and any woman knows that men usually never even notice when you get your hair done.

I have been very pleased with my relationship with Divine Hair Design, especially Kristi. She has given my hair a MUCH better look by adding hair extensions on a regular basis. I am a sr. citizen with thin, fine hair. Because of a shoulder injury I cant work with my hair in the back. The extensions look great (NO one has noticed that I have them!) The extensions give my hair length and body and are very easy to care for. The front desk staff are always very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Whats not to love? Ive been going to Divine for a while now, and Ive never been disappointed. In fact, I dont think Ive ever walked out of a salon more in love with my hair! I went initially for a drastic color change and cut, I loved the cut but the color was a bit too bright for me. I was too shy to say something up front however, when I emailed it was addressed by the owner within minutes and they fixed in within a couple days. They got me the color I wanted and really took the time to make a plan and walk me through it to ensure it was perfect and I was happy with it. They never made me feel bad for being unhappy or anxious they only encouraged me to come out of my shell and be open during the fixing process. I loved the experience despite the initial shock from the first round of coloring. I’ll definitely go back. ❤️

I used to go to Supercuts right across the parking lot from the place. I have never gotten a haircut from a hair salon before in my life other than Supercuts. I booked an appointment yesterday and went in today. I loved how they give you a consultation on your hair and see what they’re dealing with. It made me feel like my hair was going to be properly taken care of. I asked for a trim on my dead ends and to even the length out since Supercuts really messed up cutting it the last time I got it trimmed. It was great to have someone really listen to what I want and not constantly pressure me into getting it cut another way. Usually, I get pressured to get layers, shave the bottom layer off or get it thinned out because I have thick hair. But I don’t like any of that stuff so I truly felt like I was getting the service I wanted! My hair feels so much better and is evenly cut to my natural part.

Looking for a mushroom balayage but came out with ashy golden highlights. Even showed pictures of what I wanted. Im a brunette so I understand my hair wont get very light in one take but the sections arent even right. I still like how it turned out though. Will have to be more clear next time and pay closer attention during the process.

If you need help finding what would look best on you, I would recommend Divines.Because of the virus all staff and clients wore masks the entire time. They provide one for the clients. I went today for a haircut for the first time in a while. From the first step of calling and making an appointment they truly show they care about you and your hair as an individual and place you with a stylist that will fit your hair needs before even coming in. Upon walking into the salon, the atmosphere of the salon is very welcoming, upbeat and very clean. Amanda was my stylist. Instead of jumping right into the wash and cut, she sat with me for few minutes, looking over my hair, assessing what needed to be done, as well as my concerns and products I used. She did not make me feel bad about not being in for a trim or cut in so long. She washed and started the cut and explained I didnt need as much off as I thought unless I wanted to go shorter. She told me the products she was using and why. After the cut she dried and styled it she gave me better technique idea on straightener my hair to allow it to lay better. This is the first time I have ever left the salon with a second appointment with the same stylist. Thank you Amanda!!

Decided to do something with my hair Ive never had the guts to do. I went in with 2 requests, I wanted a side cut short and my length shoulder length or longer. For me this was a big deal because Ive always had long hair but I wanted to give her some freedom yo chose what to do with my hair, length, bangs, layers, ect. GABRIELLA was such a sweetheart, kept me calm by not making it feel like a big deal and let me know what she was doing before she did it. I love how it came out and this was painless! Prices are VERY reasonable for the quality of work they do. All the other women I saw with the other ladies looked absolutly BEAUTIFUL leaving as well! 10/10 would recommend and im definitely going back!

When I moved to AZ I had some anxiety about who to replace my hairdresser. My hair is rather fine and takes someone that understands color and is skilled with application. This place is amazing! I love coming here and the staff are always great and wonderful to talk to. I had an issue where I needed a fix to a haircut because my hair was being difficult and the owner fixed it herself the next day when I called. Special shout out to Amanda who always takes the time to make sure Im satisfied with my hair. I will never go anywhere else for a haircut.

I would not go anywhere else. You are greeted as you enter. The general atmosphere is great.All of the stylists are friendly to everyone, not just their clients. I have followed my stylist to a few salons and was thrilled when she opened her own salon. I knew it would not only be a nice atmosphere, but comfortable. The lady who is the manicurist is also very very good.I would not consider going anywhere else.

My granddaughters had their hair colored pink and the other blue. They are so happy with their new hair colors!

Gabby is absolutely amazing! Every time I go, she perfectly executes my ideas for my hair and it always comes out better than I could imagine.You can tell shes very passionate at what she does. Shes also so sweet and funny to chat with during the process. 10/10, would recommend!

I struggled when I first moved here to find someone that I would be as happy with as I was with my stylist in Illinois... thank god I found Jodi! Not only is she great at what she does, I love her as a person. Shes amazing! Ive never once been disappointed in over a year. Thank you Jodi!

I absolutely love this salon! I have been coming here since it opened and have had the same hair dresser for 19 years. Once you find that perfect stylist you have to hang on to them. The whole staff is very nice and welcoming. Everyone is knowledgeable about their jobs and you can tell they are all passionate about what they do. They stay up to date on whats in style and continue to take classes to further their education in their field so that we as patrons are in the best of hands. Prices are very reasonable. There is also a nail tech so you can get your nails and hair done in the same day. If your ever in need of a stylist that knows what the are doing and want to do some self pampering you will know you picked the right place with Divine Hair Design. Im new to the Mesa area and needed a stylist. A friend referred me to Divine Hair Design. I was very impressed with the ease in getting a friendly stylist and manager to match my color and cut to my usual style, color and cut. It was a great experience! I already have my next appointment on the books!
