I went as a hair model last night for a student to practice a balayage. Not going to lie, Im was extremely nervous at first. However, Aura was AMAZING!!! She was very attentive and did a fantastic job! Fun to talk to!I had boxed dye and so it didnt lift as light as we hoped it would. She toned it and it gave my hair natural highlighted tones! I cant wait until she finishes school so i can be her dedicated client!Thank you Aura!!

I came here today to get my hair permed by Bethany. I am a very anxious person but she really did a great job keeping me laughing and feeling relaxed. She kept me informed on everything she was doing from the smallest things such as what the rods were, to what I consider the huge things such as what was inside the product. Getting my hair done today was a fun and great experience. I am so happy with my hair, she did such a wonderful job. She can consider me a client in her future as a hair stylist! She really did know everything she was talking about and worked wonders with my hair. Great job on teaching these students how to do hair so well Avalon.

Vicky and Nikki did my hair and I absolutely love it! They did an amazing job of lightening it and adding highlights while keeping it looking natural. Both Vicky and Nikki would take the time to explain to me what they were doing and why and made the whole experience so collaborative and easy. I have medium length hair and Avalon gave me a perm. I waited the three days to wash my hair, and it is flat, straight. No perm, so it did not take. Also the student, who admitted she had not done a cut, gave me a bad haircut. She simply cut the ends straight across. I had to go to a professional shop to get a short cut to make my hair look better.

My phone wouldn’t let me review. So borrowed my hair stylist phone to do so! Another great job all over color facial wax and trim truly outstanding!!! Definitely will return! You Rock Cierra !!!

Valerie Lambert was absolutely incredible! I got the Avalon Signature Facial, eyebrow tinting, and lash tinting and I was beyond amazed at Valerie’s performance. Not only did she conduct the appointment with professionalism, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. My skin was glowing when we finished and my lashes and eyebrows look beautiful! She made sure to tell me what each and every product was and let me know how they would help my skin. She even made sure to target my focus areas and I am so satisfied with the results.

I went as a model for Stephanie wiggins and she retouched my blonde roots on the half of my hair and also toned it to make it look a beautiful ashy blonde. She did great woke up this morning loving my new hair! She was there telling me every second what she was doing and how it’s gonna look! Love it!

I had a very good experience! I felt the instructors were very hands on in teaching and showing the student that was highlighing my hair techniques. I felt the time flew by. I was only there for 3 and a half hours. But I had a wonderful haircut! That was the reason for the increase of time. Prices are amazing! BE SURE TO HAVE CASH FOR A TIP. I went in having no idea what to do with my hair - if I keep growing it out or go for the short summer cut. My stylist, Alex Marie, was very creative and came up with a unique style that looks great for the summer - clean and cool but will also allows me to grow it out again this fall without the awkward stage. I LOVE IT! She was really chill and fun to converse with. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Love it here! Got my haircut done by Alexandra Fernandez and she did an amazing job! She asked me plenty of questions before we got started so she understood exactly what I wanted. She would check in with me throughout the process too which was reassuring. She took her time to make sure my haircut came out perfect and exactly how I wanted it. Any changes I asked her for she was happy to do and didn’t make me feel like I was inconveniencing her. I felt comfortable communicating with her and didn’t feel like she was in a rush to finish. She styled it a couple ways and showed me how she did it so I can do it myself in the future which was extremely helpful. She also asked what kind of products I normally use in my hair and used some that she knew I would love based off my feedback. My hair felt so soft, light and healthy afterwards. I had the best haircut and experience with Alexandra!

Got a blunt cut done by Naomi and she did amazing! She was so communicative, and put my nerves at going shorter at ease. She takes her time and pays close attention to detail. Go support this sweet and ambitious lady!

I was supposed to be a model for Naomi Toppin on 8/23 and we discussed exactly what I wanted over text beforehand. She texts me the night before to reschedule claiming the school canceled the class. Two days later she tells me we need to do a different kind of cut due to another last minute change at school. At this point I’m kind of getting red flags which I guess was foreshadowing my experience. She assures me we can do a minimal amount of that cut just so she can get the grade. I oblige since I want to be of assistance and don’t mind making those changes.My concern was doing minimal amounts of damage while still adding pops of color so we decided on highlights. While in salon I made the mistake of giving Naomi the freedom of deciding placement since I’m not particular (outside of the picture I showed her). She proceeds to tell me about balayage (which I tell her I know nothing about) and explains it as if it I will achieve the same results. I agree since I assumed she understood I didn’t want more than half of my hair colored and this may just be another way to make the highlights look better. Knowing what I do now I realize I should have questioned the process more. She presented herself as very knowledgeable not only to me but her instructor who even seemed to question her tactics a couple of times. That should have been more of an indicator but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt as a student.The coloring process took about 3-4 hours even with someone helping and only “half” of my hair being done. We had to rush at the end and both the instructor and Naomi said I would need to come back the following week to finish. After seeing the results I realized that instead of highlights all of my hair in the back of my head was colored except the roots. I have reached out to Naomi multiple times in the past two weeks to get rescheduled with no response.I was hoping to have everything fixed and finished by now so I could write her a good complete review but at this point that will not be happening. I understand this is a learning experience for everyone involved so I’m taking it as just that and will be exploring other avenues to get my hair fixed. Hopefully moving forward she will be more honest and upfront about her abilities and expectations. As well as communicating better with her clients both in and out of the salon.

Brooke McClure is the best she does a FANTASTIC job on my hair she is the only person I would go to get my hair done with no matter what she is FANTASTIC at what she does maybe even better then anybody I have gone too

I went in for a facial with Summer Hiser as my esthetician and she did an amazing job I felt relaxed and comfortable and she explained what she was doing and all about the products she was using on my face … my face felt so soft and smooth after , I have a red face all the time and the products she recommended have totally helped reduce my redness I couldn’t be happier , I’m going back again in 2 weeks for another one and an eyebrow waxing , the prices can’t be beat ! Went as a hair model on 8/30 for Adenira. She needed to do a blunt cut and we decided to chop a good amount of my hair off. I was nervous, but she reassured me that it would be the best thing for my hair since a lot of it was damaged from previous lightening. We went for it and let me tell you she did not disappoint! I love the way it came out! We cut off about six inches and my hair looks and feels sooo healthy!! She also put color in it, so it is now tinted red. It is just the change I needed without it being too much. Glad I took her advice and she was very professional! Can’t wait for her to graduate!

The color is so natural looking and it feels so healthy I’ve paid so much in the past, even at “high end salons “, and not had such a great turn out. Katelyn Baker is the one that did the work. A lot of staff say it is a very stressful work environment with no support. Instructors are micromanaged. The Directors lack understanding, fairness, healthy mindsets and empathy. This campus is losing good instructors due to pettiness. The Directors pass a lot of judgement and assume the worst of their employees because they lack trust in them. The Directors promote a very unhealthy & toxic work environment. Losing good instructors will eventually affect the quality of education students pay for and expect. It won’t happen overnight but it will eventually affect the school financially. What may look like normalcy, is oozing discontent, favoritism, low morale of the instructors. There are constant character attacks. Instructors have no one to turn to. The campus Directors do not listen to their employee concerns. They dismiss your humanity. Any show of emotion is viewed negatively and they assume one cannot handle difficult situations that are no fault of the instructor. They will assume you cannot adapt well. This is coming from people who haven’t taught online classes. This breeds resentment, affects instructors’ self-esteem and the output of quality education. It’s a shame that these people don’t see how they can improve themselves. They are so busy and preoccupied with judging, surveying & observing others always looking for something you’re doing wrong. It’s a business where the focus is only on the needs of the school. They fail to see the worth and value of their instructors. Egos are warped. Not working there anymore has been a huge relief and BLESSING. There are better work situations that are healthier, supportive, organized. You can be a human being that is confident, self-assured, knowledgeable and looks forward to working every day.

I came in today to see Alexandra Fernandez for a root touch up. It was my first time seeing her and I was very pleasantly surprised at how amazing her service was. She went above and beyond to do exactly what I needed. And the color turned out great! I will definitely be coming back for more services with her soon!

I have came multiple times to this school because I love my stylist but tonight was the last straw when the receptionist who I have had issues in the past for over charging me not only that I have over herd her talking about other students. Tonight my stylist and the teacher where going over how I should be charged and she was rolling her eyes and saying “it doesn’t affect my paychecks” “I’m too old for this” “it’s whatever I don’t care” that is so rude and unprofessional and shouldn’t be working as a receptionist.

I had such a wonderful experience with val, she gave me her full attention to what i wanted an we discussed what would need to be done in detail and ensured we both were on the same page. I have the most beautiful vibrant red hair now with very natural roots and have already scheduled another appointment with her! Id strongly recommend her for any of your needs!

Aura Ortiz was the one who cut my hair and she did an excellent job. I really like the way she left my hair and I would definitely go back to her for my next hair cut!!
