The whole experience was amazing. From the time we checked in from the time we left. My son is autistic and has troubles adapting to new people or environment. Doctor Harward is amazing.He was clear and detailed about the process and they were super quick with the surgery. His nurse was very patient and understanding of my sons conditions and made sure he was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you again team!

My son had to have baby root canals done and 4 crowns put in this morning. It was his first time under anesthesia, I was so nervous, as I remember my own experience under anesthesia at a different office. But the staff we had was so informative and patient. I wouldnt recommend anyone else! They took amazing care of my son ❤

My son needed to have his tongue tie released, as it was causing speech and dental problems. Everybody was so kind and caring with us. He was gone for about 10 minutes and brought him back to me as he was waking from anesthesia. I was very pleased that the office was small and personal, compared to a big hospital. I would definitely recommend Southern Idaho Surgery Center for any dental procedures!

My daughter had to have multiple teeth worked on, and have never had surgery before or been put out before. I would say this a great place to take your kids if youre nervous. They make you feel very comfortable and at ease. From the comfortable little lounging area, to the nice nurse checking on us after my daughters procedure. They really make sure everything is known and youre ok with everything.

The staff was absolutely amazing from the time we got there to the time we left very thorough in explaining procedure and helping my little guy feel comfortable. Follow up was perfect I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else thank you so much for a great experience.

The staff was amazing and great. Very informative! They let us know three times before anything happened that it was going to happen. If you had questions answered it. Even my fiance said that all the employees there were super kind! Theres something to be said about front administrations verbage on what other surgery Centers do and how they operate. But outside of that absolutely a great experience!

They were very good with my kiddo who was very apprehensive about todays procedure.tjey helped him calm down and got him to do the procedure. They were fantastic informative and friendly.

My daughter had to have her first molar removed and several teeth capped. I was incredibly nervous about having her u undergo general. The entire staff was AMAZING and the entire procedure (from the time she left the room to when she was brought back to me) was less then an hour. They updated me as soon as she was under and as soon as she was finished, they reassured me and made it an absolute breeze for my daughter. 10/10 would recommend for anyones child needing dental care.

Friendly staff, they are great with kids. Very good and explaining everything to a parent about what will be and could be going on with your childs care. They are good about keeping to the schedule for appointment times and are quick.

The Surgery Center was wonderful to work with for my sons dental surgery! They were very attentive to my sons needs and communicated clearly with me every step of the way. The staff were kind and supportive. The waiting area was private, comfortable, and designed for a smooth transition coming out of anesthesia.

We have been waiting since March for my 4yr old son to be seen. The first time our appointment was canceled because of the covid pandemic shutting everything down. Understandable. Now, its October and because I coughed in the waiting room and he has allergies that I told the nurse about when they called literally the day before they canceled his appointment right then and there. It is almost 10am and my son who can hardly eat in the first place because of the pain he had in his teeth wasnt able to eat breakfast and they want us to submit him to a covid test or wait 2 weeks. I missed out on work, he missed out on school and they canceled on us right there in the office. Because I coughed. I take a BP medication that causes coughing! I even told them that. And he is 4! And a ham. The receptionist mentioned coughing and he coughed on cue. I begged i pleaded I even called his normal dentist. My son is in pain. This is ridiculous

Today was our first time at this center and we will definitely be using it in the future if needed! The dr and our dentist did amazing work on our handsome little man. The girls are amazing too they made sure we were ok and made sure they told us everything we needed to know and answered our questions on the spot!! Thank you guys so much!! You rock!!!

Great! I wouldn’t take my kid anywhere else after this experience. Front desk was great and friendly. I wish I remembered everyone’s names but I was such a mess with this being my sons first surgery. The nurse was friendly and knowledgeable. Answered my questions and was really sweet to my son. The anesthesiologist, she was fabulous. She made me feel more at ease with my 4 year old being put under for the first time. She has 25 years experience under her belt, that was very comforting to know. The after surgery care everyone showed there was nice. The wait room was nice, clean and comfortable.

First time going and they did such an amazing job

So let me start by saying, staff was great!!!! Plus we love love love our dentist, Dr Davis. The facility is clean and modern.So the three stars are about the details. Having one kid go thru this here and one go thru it at River City in boise, the details make a huge difference.River City really catered to the experience of the child. In both cases we were taken to a nice recovery room where we met with rn, anesthesiologist, and Dr.At River City my daughter got to pick out a fun scented chapstick and they used it in the mask to make it smell yummy. Small detail but made a difference. Also at River City they asked my kiddo what their favorite TV show was and then brought it up on Netflix, so they got to see it while they fell asleep. When they woke up at River City, we had ice and popsicles. Which was huge. Here only a bottle of water. Possicles numb the throat irritation, and the sugar in them helps with the anesthesia shakes. Such a small detail, but what a difference there was between having it on hand and having to run to the store on the way home. If you have the choice, I would always choose River City for kids.

They did not follow protacal and did not tell my son anything and they did not properly restrain my son they where blocking his airways and made him feel like they were suffocating him which they practically did by pushing down on the mask and that made it plug his nose and pushed down on his chest. Yall need retraing this is why its a must to follow protacal. I know they did not follow them because her story kept on changing. They are nice though.

In December 2014, our two year old had some cavities filled. We were told by their office manager at the time that she had received pre-authorization for the procedure from our insurance. Nine months later, we received a bill from Southern Idaho Surgery Center telling us that we owed them a very large amount of money. I called and talked to their current office manager and she told me that she would check with the medical director to see what kind of arrangement they could make for me. I told her that if they would be able to split the difference or reduce it in any way, I would pay the entire amount at that time. She said she would call me back but never did. I received another bill a month or two later. I called again to ask if she had spoken to the medical director and she assured me that she would. She never called back. I got my last bill and it said I needed to pay the full amount or I would be sent to collections. I called to talk to the medical director and was told they would pass my information to him. He never called me but he did tell the person I called that they would reduce the bill for me but I had to pay that day. It was already 3:30 PM, so close to closing time. I told her that I didnt have the money right then and how could they think this was good customer service? I was furious with this and couldnt believe they would treat a customer like this. If this billing issue would have been resolved in the first month I got the bill, I would have been happier and not be writing this. I think it is terrible customer service when the medical director cant even pick up the phone to discuss this with me. During one of the calls to them I even changed my address to show that I wasnt trying to avoid paying. I have never been sent to collections and all I wanted was for them to work with me to pay a reasonable amount-especially since we were told that this was pre-authorized by their previous office manager! I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. I was told that they were in the process of catching up because their previous office manager did not do a good job. However, I dont see that as being my fault and maybe they should have worked with me a little more. At least return my phone calls when they told me they would.As a side note and one thing that might be a positive is that everyone I did speak to was really nice and never rude. That doesnt excuse them from providing the highest level of service though.
