Mike is a godsend. I was out of the country and had to get a replacement helper as my previous helper had quit. Mike took care of things immediately. He went to our house on the same day and cared for my husband who is disabled. He also took care of the pets and our home. He was understanding, helpful and reassuring. He gave me daily updates so that I have a peace of mind. I highly recommend Home Helpers.

I have been caring for my disabled mother for seven years. In that duration I have researched and tried a lot of options to alleviate some of the responsibilities I have had caring for her. I almost came to the conclusion that I would never be able to find the right agency or caregiver. That was, until I found Home Helpers. I was so impressed with their attention to quality. The staff were truly understanding of my mothers needs. My mom looks to her caregivers as one of the family members. This has relieved me off so many fears. Mike and the staff were courteous, professional, genuine, and bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and pleased with the safety alert system for our family member living with us. It was extremely beneficial to have technical support on a local level to help answer questions and set up the system!! Although we didnt utilize the home care portion of the company, wed certainly recommend the alert system portion of the company to everyone! Very good people!

Two times at bat, home run both times for on point service by Home Helpers! Reliable, responsible, professional for the service provided and added bonus of delightful people in the mix. Home Helpers provides a full array of at home care, I think, and we didnt need that help but did need a specific kind of assistance to and from surgical events on two occasions. We were pleased to find Home Helpers was willing to provide the help and did it so well. If you are in the market for home care help of any kind for yourself or a loved one, based on our two experiences we recommend you give Home Helpers a call.

The most unethical company. Fired the most reliable care person they had. The new caretakers have no empathy or understanding for seniors at all. I could go on with so much more! Avoid. Not trustworthy in my opinion. He says she found a job closer to home! All that you did for my family? You mean asking the caretaker to lie about the number of hours?!!! Now I really know how scrupulous you are! Avoid this company!

The staff is caring and executes in a way that you know what is going on at all times even if they cant start as soon as you hoped for or expected.

The Home Helpers team just recently started providing companionship and light housekeeping assistance to my mother-in-law and she LOVES it! She couldnt be happier with her caregiver! Marcie at Salmon Creek has been wonderful with my 99 year old mother. She keeps me informed on my moms daily life and her physical and mental condition. When my mom was having a bad week I was quite upset and Marcie was my backbone and comforter. I love Home helpers of Boise especially Marcie Helena. They are both wonderful to my mother.

Driving like an ass doesn’t do good for business when you’re in a company car! How is anybody supposed to think that you have compassion when you’re cutting people off and speeding down the road? Trust people like that? I don’t think so.

Weve used Home Helpers once so far for in-hospital, post-op sitting. Mike was very responsive and compassionate when he responded to my call. He met me at the hospital so I didnt have to leave my family member unattended.Kiki (sp?) the sitter was great. She stayed the night in the hospital so I could get some rest. The hospital nursing staff is great for medical care, but I felt much better having the one-on-one supervision when I couldnt be there. She gave me a heads up about a minor overnight condition so I could follow up with the doctor during rounds. If she hadnt been there, I wouldnt have known there was a problem.Home Helpers rates are reasonable and we intend to use them again when our family member is discharged from the hospital.

HomeHelpers was able to start helping us the very same day we called them. Mike and his staff have gone over and above the call of duty in helping our mom with her medication, which had become a serious concern. The assisted living facility where my mom lives highly recommended HomeHelpers and now I know why. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help caring for a loved one.
