As usual all of the staff are friendly and polite.They care about your eyes. Dr. Ana Nielsen is great. Can’t ask for more.

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful! I ripped a contact while I was traveling and they were able to help me get a replacement on very short notice. Would highly recommend to anyone living in the area

I’ve been coming to this eye doctor for years and I’ve had pleasant experiences each time, but I really wanted to rave about my experience with them today.I got some eyelash extensions and ended up having a bad reaction in one of my eyes. I called The Eye Site and asked for their opinion on what I should do, and they ended up fitting me into the schedule (same day) to get a look at it and offer a better opinion on it. They gave me some eye drops to relieve the pain and were able to explain what happened with my eye. The doctor even drew a picture and showed me a visual of exactly where I got a chemical burn in my eye. I left my appointment with multiple eye drops to help relieve the pain and help it heal faster.

My family and I LOVE the Eye Site. From the time you walk in the door until you leave you are treated like family. Its always great to hear laughter in a place of business because you know the people there enjoy what they are doing, who they are working with, and who they are working for. The staff works so well together and they dont try to push things on you that you dont need. They give you all the options and then they let YOU make up your mind on what you will buy. They never talk down to you or make you feel stupid. We love the Eye Site, and I hope you will too.

I love The Eye Site in Meridian. Dr. Ana Nielson is so sweet, she checks out your eye health then sends you over to check your prescription with Dr. Ryan Nielson. Dr. Ryan is listens to his customers and is very accommodating. I told him about a family member with a specific eye issue, and he sent me home with a sample of some eye drops for this person to try.Vikki on the sales floor is absolutely wonderful. Not only did she help me pick out some awesome glasses and sunglasses, but she actually held a pair of glasses off the sales floor for 8 months for me so they would be ready for me to order. I picked them out last year but needed to wait for the new calendar year to order, and when I came back in they had been sent off to the lab for another customer. So she ordered the sample frame and kept them in the back for 8 months until I finally came back in!! In the 5 years that I have been a customer, Vikki has helped me identify exactly the frame shape that looks best on my face, pushed me to try different and fun stuff like transition lenses, cat eye frames, and now prescription sunglasses. I went from wearing contacts full time to being so excited about glasses that I have worn exclusively glasses for the last three years.

Very nice friendly staff and Dr. Nielsen is an outstanding eye doctor. I would (and do) recommend the Eye Site to anyone and everyone struggling with their eyesight!

Such a great experience. They are all extremely helpful, thorough, and professional. I’d like to personally mention Dr Fowler for the time she spent with me to help my vision related issues. She did many tests to determine what was causing some issues for me and we have a clear course of action.They have many very cool diagnostic machines used to help their patients that I’ve not seen before and all were pain free and easy to use.I highly recommend the Eye Site.

My experience was amazing! I would highly recommend Dr. Melissa Fowler, she was great. I have been glasses/contacts since I was 6 years old and at 32, I felt like I was really listen too with some troubles I had been having and not just talked to.

Staff was amazing and accommodating. My oil glands in my eyes are clogged and had severe inflammation in my eyes. I got a prescription and eyes are feeling better. Going in for last treatment.

Where has this place been the last 19 years I’ve needed an eye dr?? They are great. Low-key & high tech, professional and informative. There’s no feeling of pressure or “this needs to be done today,” like I’ve experienced at other places. I now know what an astigmatism means because she took the time to explain it to me...no other dr ever has. Highly recommend—I won’t dread my next appointment...which is a first!

Dr. Nielsen was extremely knowledgeable & had up to date solutions. I’ve suffered with hurting eyes for at least 10 years & no other doctor was able to help me with a solution except put eye drops in every hour. Not only was I given a prescription for immediate relief but he educated me on different eye drops & a procedure that could help. I could go on about this visit but people generally don’t have patience to read long reviews 😜 From the moment I walked in the door til I left, I would rate my experience as excellent!

I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room. Dr. Fowler was very attentive and addressed all of my concerns. I appreciated how upbeat and positive she was.

I have never had a doctor spend so much time with me as much as Dr. Nielsen has. He explains everything very well and takes his time to make sure your glasses or contacts are just how you want them. I’ve never waited long and have been really impressed with all the staff. Most importantly he caught an eye disease that my old eye doctor misdiagnosed.

Customer service needs improvement. My son & I decided to try this place because it’s closer to out house than our previous eye dr. The technician did not introduce herself or explain what all the different machines were testing while she was having us move between them. For my 12yo this was a little overwhelming. Dr. Neilson (female) was very pleasant and really good with my son. When it came down to my prescription she gave me contacts that were, to me, considerably less than my previous prescription. When I asked her about it she got a little defensive and said they don’t have all powers on hand. Which is fine, but had she explained that in the beginning I wouldn’t have questioned it. Before I left I asked about my prescription and they said it wasn’t finalized. In my 25+ years of wearing contacts & glasses I’ve never not left the eye doctor without a prescription. I just ordered a year supply of contacts and I’m hoping I get the correct prescription. Overall, I am open to giving them another chance.

First time there, was clean, quick, and efficient. Doctor and staff answered all my questions.

“Spotlessly clean with new, modern decor. Friendly staff, high-tech equipment, great selection, and affordable glasses (I have insurance). Upon entry, my temperature was taken and I had to wash my hands. Social distance was observed.”That was the positive part of my original review, which was a 3 because no one wore masks. But they do now. After an email from the optometrist thanking me for my kindly worded concerns, they began to require masks. I was shocked that someone listened to a consumer and made a positive change. I now recommend The Eye Site to everyone!!

I order a pair of Jimmy Choo glasses that I was extremely excited about. I waited the 2-3 weeks it takes to order. And apparently they decided to use the office pair to put my lenses in and not ask or tell me. So when I received them, they had permanent finger prints, smudges and scratches on them. I paid for a brand new pair so thats what I should have received. Apparently this makes me unreasonable so the fired me as a patient.

Dr Ana is so thorough and very compassionate. I have complete trust in her incredible expertise.

I really can’t say enough about my visit today. This was the most thorough eye exam that I have ever had! Their technology was state of the art, something that I have never experienced. I have worn glasses for many years now and I always felt as though my exams were rushed and not comprehensive. Dr. Ryan Nielson took the time to review my situation in depth, explained my options and kindly answered all of my questions. The entire staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. They spent quite a long time helping me pick out new frames that complimented my face and I was treated as though I was part of their team. This place is amazing and the people are so nice, I honestly didn’t realize that I had bad eye site but they really helped me out with finding what would work best for my eyes and finding a frame that I liked. It was Also very easy and I can’t wait to get my glasses!!!

On Jan. 6, 2020, I ordered glasses. ($450.) They felt wrong. I couldnt see as well. However, four days later I left for a month long overseas trip. Because of covid, when I got back I was put down in 2 week quarantine and then after that the state went into lockdown. Im 69 years old. I got use to the glasses. This last month went back to Vision One and found out I was wearing a wrong prescription. With the new glasses I could see so much better. I realized how badly the incorrect prescription affected my life in a negative way. Today, I went back to Eyesite and asked them if they would replace my lenses with a the correct prescription into the frame I got from them. They refused. I am sincerely disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone. Beware.

I accidentally scratched my cornea. I was seen the same afternoon. Treatment was effective and professional.

Was looking for contacts but wore glasses to the appointment. First time Ive had an optometrist be so quick with his exam results! He made the suggestion to fit me with daily contacts instead of my usual monthly. My contacts get dirty because of my job so it makes sense to have the daily lenses to keep them clean and not have to worry about soaking and upkeep on them over a months span. Good experience and great customer service!

I have a $10 copay for the contact lens fitting, and the default to $40 each time. Sales technique? Update: Yes it is their sales technique. 3 days later they tried it again. Know your coverages!

I always feel welcome when I come in. All the ladies are kind and attentive. Ive never had to wait more than a couple minutes (like 2 to 5!) Ive been going to Dr Ryan Nielsen for many years now.Hes consistently terrific! If you get to know him, youll find he has a subtle sense of humor. :) His new office is beautiful. They have a wide array of frames and also contacts to order for you. You wont be disappointed!

This is the best place to go! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They explain everything and can answer all questions you may have. They let you make your own decisions and don’t push any additional services/products. Plus you can get a fresh brewed cup of coffee when you arrive! Who wouldn’t love that?! I would recommend this place to anyone needing vision services.

I wish they had more extended hours outside the 9:00-5:00 typical. For those of that work its difficult to get to an appointment by 4:00pm.I missed a stop light on my way to the most current appointment, and was 3-minutes past the appointment window. Appointment was canceled by receptionist.My last appointment, I waited 35 minutes before being seen, so I guess being late for an appointment only works one-way.

The Eye Site was super clean and very welcoming! I met with Dr. Ana, she was super informative and thorough when explaining the tests, etc. April was also extremely helpful when picking out my new glasses! She gave great recommendations and did not rush me at all to make any decisions! Overall, great experience!

Everyone is so friendly, the equipment they use is incredible. Fast, easy and comfortable. No puffs of air blasting your eyeballs. They showed me a variety of different frames & were very honest in what they thought looked good on me & what didnt. Took all the worry out of picking my own frames. Top notch from start to finish.

We are very pleased with the service here. Dr. Ana is patient and thorough during the exam. Usually Viki helps us with finding and fitting glasses and shes also patient. Every month we have to go in for adjustments and cleaning and the staff is always helpful. Weve been coming here for years and recommend the Eye Site.

I’ve been going here for 4-5 years now but today was exceptional. The new building is terrific love the showroom and the service was top notch! The only thing that could make it better is maybe a complimentary beer... 🤷🏻‍♂️ Don’t hesitate to give them your business.

Professional atmosphere and a friendly staff with prompt service. my first visit was better than expected.

Took my son in for his yearly eye exam. The staff was very friendly. They were helpful, with initial testing as he is very sensitive to bright lights. We were seen by Dr. Fowler. Explained her findings and made sure his prescription was just right.

Cutting wood and sheetrock, I got some dust in my eye. I waited a couple days before calling the doctor and my eye was very irritated. I picked up the phone and The Eye Site got me in same day. Dr. Ana Nielsen and the staff got me fixed up. I’m feeling like a million bucks right now.

They’re super friendly and at least one doctor knows what they are doing. I saw the same guy twice. The third time I had a different doctor. She gave me a prescription for contacts that was different in regards to the shape of my eye, and a couple weeks after getting my new contacts I was constantly readjusting them. I called and let them know, and I was going to have to pay $50-100 to have the issue evaluated. I know it’s not a lot of money, but it’s insane I was given the wrong prescription and then was going to be charged to have the issue fixed. I went to a different doctor and they gave me my correct prescription which fits wonderfully. I paid a different doctor, because I didn’t want to risk going back here and having them give me the same prescription, or a different one, and having it fit wrong again. Then what? Would I have owed more money to have them fix their mistake again? I just can’t accept the fact that they would give me an incorrect prescription then charge me to fix THEIR mistake.

Dr Fowler and team are so helpful! I was grateful to get in due to an emergency. Everyone was fabulous! Did everything to make sure I felt comfortable. I’m very grateful for their entire team

Ive avoided going to the eye doctor for some time, dreading the entire situation, but The Eye Site team & Dr. Neilson completely changed my opinion and provided the most amazing service from start to finish! The experience was nothing but positive! It was easy to make an appointment, the staff was so friendly and beyond helpful. Vikki was AMAZING helping pick out the right style and fit and I ended up getting something I love, which is a huge deal since Id never worn glasses before! She also broke down pricing and what insurance covered simply and thoroughly! Then April was phenomenal during the pick up, which was just over a week later. The entire process was flawless and great! I highly recommend anyone to check them out! They had a ton of options for frames, lenses, sunglasses, contacts etc. It was all around wonderful & Im so happy to be able to see everything I didnt even realize I was missing out on!

My family has been going there for years- everyone there is super nice. The Dr’s are great, very professional and proactive in their approach to the health of your eyes. Shoutout to Vicki- she is the best! Never loses her cool, very patient with my indecisive teenagers and listens to exactly what you want and then magically pulls a pair off the wall that is just what you were wanting. My family has been going to the Eyesite for the past 10 years. Everyone has always been so wonderful to work with. We truly enjoy going in every year. They have a large selection of glasses or contacts to chose from. They are in a very convenient location. Not far from the freeway off of the eagle exit. There new building looks great. If you are looking for a new place to go I would highly recommend going to see them.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they were able to see me considering most places were booked out for the next three to four weeks. From the second I walked into the clinic, they made me feel welcome and even offered me some coffee or water while I waited. When the doctor took me back, she seemed genuinely interested in my overall well being - not just how my eyes were feeling. She even found a small scar on my left eye that had gone unnoticed by other optometrists in the past. After getting me fitted for some new contacts, she immediately booked a follow up apppointment in a couple weeks to make sure everything was okay. I will definitely recommend the Eye Site to my friends and family!
