Tanya did a fabulous job on my haircut!! I was very impressed with how she personalized the photo I brought in as a reference to my own head and hair. She also asked for my opinion during the whole thing and discussed what she was doing which I really appreciated. That being said, I also went and got a bleach and from the moment I showed my photo, she was extremely nervous and throughout that process she was very nervous which made me a little uncomfortable and even more anxious about it than I am. I would recommend putting each stylists different strengths on their website the different specialties so you know whos going to be confident giving you the look you want. They did warn me at the beginning that they couldnt get the color I wanted in one treatment and I left the salon with a color that I did love, Tanya just wasnt as confident as I would have liked when it came to coloring my hair.I also went from shoulder length brown hair to pixie short blonde hair, so I realize it wasnt an easy change.

Robyn Liston is an excellent color stylist. If I want to change things up, she thoroughly explains what I can and cannot do with my hair. She has my best interests in mind so as not to damage my hair. Her appointments are flexible and she does her best to accommodate my needs. The staff is friendly and the salon is clean and pretty.

I’m new to the area and even though it had some 1 star reviews I decided to give it a fair chance and try since I was just going for a brow wax. I’m not a big reviewer but wow, I’ve never had such a bad eye brow wax in my life! The first red flag was that I was sat on the hair washer bowl instead of in a room like a normal “salon” would have. She didn’t ask me anything about what I wanted or made any type of conversation. When she gave me the mirror, she literally took off most of my brows with absolutely no shape what so ever! If you’re looking for a very basic wax that you would get at a nail salon, you’ll be good here. But if you want a good quality brow wax, this place isn’t for you.

Melissa is awesome! I had been growing my hair out and finally decided I wanted to cut it. I’ve only been in the Boise area for about 6 months so I was a little nervous to get my hair cut here but Melissa made it feel comfortable and easy! I would recommend anyone to go to her, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Warm and friendly environment. Very easy to schedule/reschedule. Kendall has done an awesome job cutting, styling, and coloring my hair and has helped me learn how to care for my hair as it has changed over time. When I had a concern about my color, Kendall got me right in to help make me 100% satisfied, spent time with me, and seemed very accommodating, plus no additional charge for her time!!!! Its been years since Ive gone to a salon, usually settling for supercuts like places, but Melissa reminded me why its worth the extra money. Melissa was so kind and gave me a great color, cut, and style! Very happy with Lotus Hair Spa. Price was very fair and service was great! I felt spoiled drinking my mimosa and reading a magazine in peace while I waited for my dye to set. Thank you Melissa!!

Melissa was wonderful, went in and didn’t 100% know what I wanted. She listened and accommodated and gave recommendations, based on what I wanted. I love the outcome and definitely recommend for men’s haircuts!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salon! I would highly recommend it to anyone! I was so happy to have found an AWESOME salon after having three really bad experiences with other salons in town. My stylists was Sue and she was extremely meticulous, and cared deeply about my hair turning out perfectly. The owner and other stylists were extremely friendly and it was such a nice vibe in there that it made it feel like home for me. I could not have been happier with this salon.

I have been going to Robyn for about 6 years now and she is great!! The salon is always kept very nice and it’s always a pleasant experience. Robyn and her staff are great!

When you request a trim and the so called stylist even shows you how much she is going to trim off - 4 inches only - and you walk out with almost 10 inches missing from your head, I dont even think you deserve 1 star. And no, you should not laugh at your patron stating that since your hair still touches the chair you have long enough hair and not to worry. I LOVED my long hair it is NOT up to you to decide after I made it clear I ONLY wanted a trim NOT a haircut to go ahead and take off that much hair I never asked your advice I knew what I wanted done. It will take years now to regrow my hair back to where I had it. I would tell your manager about you, but since it was the owner who did this I can only post this remark here.

Kelsey Crawford is absolutely the best hair stylist I have been too. I enjoy her creativity and sweet positive way about her. She not only does a great job with cut and coloring of my hair, now she is taking excellent care of my very hard to please 13 year old!

I love getting my hair done there I bring my mom in and everybody is so nice to us they do a great job but theyre super friendly and they have great jewelry I just bought my mom a beautiful black with silver bracelet that she loves. Shot out to Tanya

Robin is the best! Been trusting her with my hair for years!! Took a long time for me to find a hairdresser I was confident in, and I’m so glad I found her! She always does an amazing job! April is also such a great esthetician and does an amazing job with my eyebrows!

Called for two appointments for two people. Both of us wanted color treatments. full head color treatments. The lady on the phone Tonya quoted both of us $115 with the free haircut promotion online for both being new clients. It was explained that both of us had long and thick hair past the bra line. Tonya exclaimed that it would be $115 with the free hair cut once again. We made the appointments and Tonya explained it would be her and Melissa doing our hair. We were excited and went about our day. Tonya called at 8:00pm to explain that she was going to have to charge both of us anywhere from $25-$40 more. We were confused and asked why she was charging more when she said $115 already which it at the top of the price tier for what we were having done due to the long hair. Tonya explained that since she can’t physically see our hair she would have to charge more. We decided to keep the appointments so Tonya and Melissa could look at our hair and tell us how much they would charge per this is what they wanted was to look at our hair first. The day before our appointment Robin the owner of Lotus called to tell us that she doesn’t believe that Lotus would be a good fit for us. We were both shocked since Robin doesn’t and hasn’t even met us and we were trying to give the salon a look at our hair as they said they wanted. Robin Tonya and Melissa threw away potential customers spending potentially $150 per person for our color treatment. We are still confused as to why they thought it wouldn’t be a good fit without even knowing us. Whether Lotus discriminates between customers or just doesn’t have the talent in the salon to mess with long thick hair I guess we will never know. Seems like a lot of money to give up on customers that were looking for a salon home to call their own. Would not recommend Lotus you never know if you might get a call saying they have canceled for you because your hair is too long and it’s not a good fit.

Robyn, the owner, has created an extremely quality salon in Meridian. Her sophisticated style and taste is evident in the design of the floor as well as the front desk waiting area. What is most impressive about Lotus, however, is the commitment to the use of high end hair care products that are sold at a very affordable price and have been thoughtfully selected by Robyn, who is extremely knowledgeable about the science behind hair maintenance. Robyn employs only talented, professional stylists and colorists at her salon.

Kirsten McGraw is the best. I have been going to her for a couple of years (followed her from another salon). She is always on time, flexible when making appointments, and fun to talk with while I am in the chair. She even helped me grow out my bangs and not look really awkward while they were growing. Love her!

I got a facial done on Wednesday (my first one) April was amazing, she was so sweet and had such a low tone I was so comfortable. Afterwards she had me drink water to make sure I stay hydrated (so sweet) then showed me products that would be good for my type of skin. She did not just do that she actually wrote me out a scheduled regiment! That was a big deal for me

Great atmosphere, clean place. I have a lot of thick, coarse hair that is hard to work with. I see Robyn and she always does a great job with my hair.

I came here a couple months ago to have my hair bleached and dyed a bright red (everyone knows the color red, right? you know, its a primary color? not ginger) and when I got there, I was not consulted about my color, but my stylist decides to ask the owner what she should do, I was unaware of what color they were going to do my hair the entire time, until it had already been washed out and styled. At this point my hair was orange, and Im talking Daphne from Scooby-Doo orange, and was promptly told to look at it in the light... is the light going to make my hair red? is it magic? I didnt think so. So the stylist then went out to get the proper color (RED) and I was told I would have to return every TWO WEEKS for a touch up. Now, thats really no big deal for me, but here I am TWO MONTHS later and the color is still not even completely out of my hair because it is permanently stained and ruined. I even tried to bleach it myself and the color is the same as it was before. Not to mention I asked for a side bang, and she clipped off maybe 30 strands of hair total, so I ended up doing a cut I paid for, myself. I do not recommend coming here unless you want the stylist to decide what they want to do to your hair, and not listen to you in the slightest.

I have no idea why this place has such good reviews? I had a horrible haircut here, today! I didnt notice it till I arrived home.. one side is clearly longer than the other. Christina was my stylist and I explained to her that all I wanted was trim because I am trying to grow my hair very long. She took so much off of one side, its ridiculous.. I seriously think Great Clips would of done a better job.. So disappointed..

I came In a few weeks ago asking my stylist to start me on the journey to getting my hair back to its natural light blonde color. At this point my hair was a darker brown and my roots had grown out about an inch...it looked bad. I was desperate. The stylist looked at my hair in disgust as soon as I got there. She was not friendly when I met her either. We talked for an hour and half just about what she was going to do. She told me that my hair was too dark and the only way we would get it back to normal was to put a ton of highlights in which would “take her way to much time” even though I am paying this lady. She then referred me to a woman named mellissa that couldn’t fit me in until later on that week and she quoted me $200 for highlights. I was very frustrated and wanted to get out of there but I thought I might as well get a haircut because I had already been there so long. She took almost 2.5 hours to do a simple cut. AND she messed it up. I got home and my hair was so uneven and terrible looking. I went to a different salon just a couple days ago for the same reason and they were so happy I came to them and I’m almost back to my original color. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, or at least my stylist I had. Such a shame :(

Kelsey Crawford is the absolute best hairstylist in town. I have been going to Kelsey for several years and recommend all my friends to her. Everyone that goes is always beyond impressed. She is SOOO good with color. I am always so happy with my color and my cuts. My super picky teenage daughter wouldnt let anyone else touch her hair. I am always super excited to get my hair done. It is a treat and I always feel spoiled with her!!

I went in for a Keritin treatment with Melissa. When I left my hair was sticky and took me 4 washing to get my hair back to normal. Also, my hair was not silky smooth and straight like it should have been after the treatment. I reached out to Mellisa several times to see about redoing it or getting a refund. She did not give me an option and said she was waiting for a response from the owner. Well, that was 2 months ago and still have not heard anything. I also wrote a couple message for the owner and have had no response. Who pays 120.00 for something and then not get what you paid for? What kind of a salon would think that is ok to not correct the issue. Very sad that their customer service is that bad. I have never written a bad review before but I did tell her if I didnt get a response I was going to let people know.

Kelsey went over how the products react to previously dyed hair ,levels of lightening and shades that were available for my skin tone that would be complimentary . The color and style were spot on ... very happy with my experience !

Groupon purchase; went in for mens haircut... stylist was awkward, clumsy and seemed new. Was not ready for my appointment (15 mins late). Came home to find a spot of hair she missed completely. Not going back.

My hair is yellow and looks worse then when I went in. Love the atmosphere but super sad about my highlights.
