Parents beware...please advise your high school and or college students not to apply here in the food service department. They will work them more than they agreed to upon hired. Then after high school they wont work around their college schedule so they ultimately have to find another job.

The memory care facility is very unorganized. I will not work for them again. They will accuse you of things that isn’t true. You’ll do so much for them and they’re is no appreciation on how much you work. They just use you! They are always low staffed and expect you to work so much to the point you are mentally tired.

For eight years my mother lived in a wonderful retirement apartment by Green Lake in Seattle. When we moved her back to Boise two years ago I was worried about the standard of living she had experience there. Our family has found that Touchmark is above and beyond in their care for our mother. She is in assisted care and loves her apartment and feels well cared for. She also feels safe and says the staff is very good to her. We feel her hair has never looked better with Misty’s weekly attention. The nursing staff is phenomenal and we have never seen a nurse as dedicated as Kim. She is knowledgeable and hard-working and very loving. One of the traits that I feel is important is when I do have a question or a concern I am treated with interest and respect. They try to accommodate us in every way possible. Our family is grateful to the staff here.

Both grandparents lived here for multiple years and passed here. Loved the time here, staff was great, and facilities nice. My grandpa didn’t care for the food mostly because my grandma was an amazing cook and spoiled him for 65 years of marriage 😁. I can see myself here someday nice place

Touch mark is the most unprofessional place of work that I have ever worked at. I couldn’t stand even working there my first week. They have such disrespectful staff and management. The training was horrible. They barely trained me 2 days and got mad that I said something because they put me on the floor not knowing anything. What a waste of my time.

Our mother is very well taken care of. She has frequent visits from the staff each day to deliver her meds, take her vitals and deliver meals when she requests them. We feel confident about our mothers care and are worry free. Everyone is treated like family and the staff always calls residents by name when they see them.

We have enjoyed the hospitality here at Touchmark for nearly three years. We love our home which was customized for us during construction. The facilities and staff here are the best in the valley.

Very caring staff that are great to work with. I work with those in the memory caring assistance and I have high respect for how well they treat the residents here. I would recommend this facility and housing for anyone seeking to give family members comfortable living and community.

My father lived here for more than two years. The facility is upscale and spotless, the staff is competent, but most importantly they are warm hearted people who really got to know and cared for dad. I visited many times over the years, I always felt welcome.

When I worked at touch mark, it was one of the most horrible job experiences I ever had. When I first started here, they told me I would have 2 week training and than I would be on the med tech cart alone, I was also told that the person training me would be the supervisor. My first day was nothing like this. They had put me with a girl who had only been there for a month and expected her to train me, lol. She hardly knew what she was supposed to be doing because they did not train her properly. I had to ask for someone else because if Im going to do a job than I want to know how to do it right. So then they put me with another girl who pretty much ignored me the whole shift and got upset if I asked questions. So by the next day not even a week they throw me on the cart expecting me to know what to do and to know how to use their systems. I had to constantly ask the superviser to come and help me. Everytime she would get annoyed and finally she started to yell at me. The shift lead was never there so I couldnt talk to her.. Im just at a loss for words honestly. They spent a total of 3 days training me and even though I had my med tech certificate, I had told them in the interview that it has been a long time since I have passed medications and that I would like to do a refresher course. They said ok and than it never happened. And when the nurse came to sign off on me being on the med cart she did not even test me, she just had me sign papers and than she signed off on them all because she wanted to get home and off work as soon as she could. If I could give this place a no star rating I would. The only words I have are horrible horrible and horrible. I left just before I hit 2 weeks.

Removed loved one from memory care after less than six months. Caregivers were overworked and understaffed. The private rooms in the facility were poorly cleaned and patients neglected. Enrichment was pitiful.

I moved to TOUCHMARK April 1st, 2017 due to medical issues and it was just time to be near family. The exterior of TOUCHMARK at Meadow Lake Village, is amazingly well cared for, but it is the inside, the staff and other residents that affirmed I made the right choice. Alllll the staff from maintenance to housekeeping, to kitchen, front desk, activities folks and office staff made an effort to know my name quickly, and made me and others comfortable. The food is bountiful and good and we never lack for activities. It is comfortable to participate in numerous activities, or not. Since moving here my energy has improved, my eating and my general mood have improved. Thank you all for helping to improve my quality of living.
