Dr Schaefer was wonderful. He spent time with me. Explained everything that was going on and patiently explained what was next. He answered all my questions and eased my fears.

Dr. Shaffer is Great!His staff, especially the scheduler Julie, really gets this review. She is very incompetent and unprofessional! She is the one in charge of scheduling your procedures. She is using a book and not a computer to schedule. I sat next to her when she penciled me in for an 8:30AM procedure. Told me I would be in and out of there before lunch. The day before, the hospital calls me and tells me my appointment is at 10AM! I told them my paperwork said 8:30AM, the hospital responded back saying she never scheduled me for 8:30, she scheduled me in for 10AM. I called Dr. Shaffers office to find out what the problem was, the receptionist told me the hospital can move around appointments whenever they want too. I responded telling her that is not what the hospital just told me. She responded quickly saying she didnt make the appointment and was transferring me to Julie the scheduler Of course she didnt answer, I left a message. She finally called back and starting telling me she did schedule me for 10AM, she just told me to be there at 8:30AM. I responded sayinh, Stop write there, you never told me to be there at 10AM, because you wrote on my paperwork, -procedure time 8:30 AM, be there at 7:00AM-She responded to me, If your going to F*cking yell at me, then bye and hung up on me. I have never in my entire life, from any doctors office ever been talked to like that or treated this way. If talking to someone and calling them out on their mistake, is yelling, then shes in the wrong profession. As of yet no one from Dr. Shaffers office has reached out to me about my procedure or the way she talked to me. Its very disappointing and looks badly on the Doctor when the office staff can talk to patients away the want to. Time to find a new doctor and dont waste your time here!

I met with Dr. Schaefer today. I did not have to wait hardly at all - less than 5 minutes. The staff was very nice. He spent adequate time with me and was very patient with my questions. He exlained everything so that I could understand. I would highly recommend him.

Wonderful Dr and Staff, Very capable and down to earth. We received excellent care from Dr. Shaefer and his staff! Highly recommend!

We didnt even see the doctor, but his PA was either racist, or just did not feel the need to acknowledge me, the wife of the patient, in the room. She entered the room, and from shaking only my husbands hand, and greeting only him, to discussing the procedure with only him, I felt as though I did not exist, nor did my presence matter. In fact, the only time she did speak with me, was when she insisted condescendingly that a water fast was not a fast. If the staff are this obnoxious, they will lose more patients. Theyve already lost us.

Every time we come here there always seems to be a problem. Her staff are all incompetent. They either over charge us or have no clue what to do with our insurance. Half of the time we come there for an appointment they are so backed up we have to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional and we will not be returning.

I have a medical issue. I am having terrible problems and Dr Schaefer will not see me for 90 days. I am an existing patient. I need medical attention. I have called several times. No return calls from his nurse or staff. Last week the Dr was out of the country and had no back up physicians in place. It is unacceptable not to make time to treat existing patients whos lifes depend on you. If I would of know that the level of care from this Dr was going to be this poor I would of never choosen him. He should of told me day 1 that his book of business was out of control. Taking on new patients when you cannot service them is not acceptable as a care provider. This behavior is negligent and should be examined by the medical board. I cannot recommend this Dr.Part 2. Its October 2nd. The Dr still cannot fit me in. I have called the Dr and his staff 4 times to get some medication. They have not filled the prescription nor have they called me back about why it has not been done.

Receptionist said someone called and cancelled my husbands appt a month ago but didnt have the name of who cancelled. Obvious error on their part as we were at their office 20 minutes before our his appt time. No apology just excuses. Offered to reschedule two months out. We said no thank you and left. I phoned them two days prior and confirmed his appt .... how does that happen???

Good Doctor 5 Stars for him. His PA Tara, Should not be working with patient, she is racist, rude -5 Stars for her.
