I have been a customer at Blount Discount Pharmacy since 1974.I’ve been dealing with neck and shoulder nerve pain since 2017. U T pain clinic sent me to the Harris Clinic, 2020. I’m sharing this information because I believe my treatment these last few days is because I am having to be treated for nerve pain issues!I guess Blount Discount Pharmacy doesn’t care about their long time customers anymore. I realize the pharmacist has his reasoning for not filling my prescription. But, he was so condensing in the way he talked to me on the phone and when I was there in person. None of the pharmacist talked to me about this prescription. Why could they not have worked with me instead of getting hateful and condescending?So sad. I feel like I’m leaving part of my family. This is a sad world we live in today.

Poor customer service. They do not care about your concerns or care to make things right. They make it a big ordeal to know the name of the prescription before you pay for it. The bag is sealed & labeled with the Rx number before you arrive. They talk down to you & misquote HIPAA. It’s my prescription & I have a right to know what I’m buying! They don’t ask if you need to speak to the pharmacist regarding your med your buying even if it’s a new prescription. They do not care if your treated with respect.

Love that they do compounding. When we got our COVID vaccines, they swapped out the standard-issue needles for smaller gauge ones. What a difference - thank you!

Too all new folks moving to blount county, do not use this place. The owners are fakes,lyers and do no wrong to hear them talk. One pharmacist acused me of being a dope when I was there waiting for my mothers prescription. He was. D.F. WHO HAD Filled prescriptions for her before, not even the right med. He thought it was funny.he told me that in front of 7 other people waiting for their prescs. I talked tcause o Phil the owner ,he tried to cover it up.because he knew that what he did in front of the other people, was against hipa rights .I would give them no star at all I f I could..the gill st store is the same way, they will lie to you as well.

I see a lot of petty reviews from people who think others should always be happy and cheerful but thats not always true when you work in a pharmacy, trust me... Its overwhelming. I worked in a pharmacy myself for a while and never again. Everyone here at this place has always been nice to me but of course Im nice to them... Thats probably a lot of the reason they are rude to someone is if the customer was rude to start with. They always have my prescription ready quickly and accurately. Ive been a customer for several years

Personable, professional and helpful staff, ample parking. Conveniently located to many neighborhoods in Maryville.

The actual pharmacist was extremely rude to my sister when she was trying to pick up her sons prescription. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. He wouldn’t take the amount that the insurance agreed to pay ???

I would give zero stars if I could. This pharmacy has been my pharmacy for years, with no problem. I went there three times in person this week, until I finally got my medication. Then I was lectured by the young boy at the drive thru window, that one of my prescriptions had expired. I showed him the bottle that says I have 2 refills left until June 2020. And this person is handling my medicine. I showed him the bottle through the window. He didnt seem to care that he was wrong. Why are they letting inept people work there ? 3 DAYS TO PICK UP MY MEDICINE. I dont have that kind of time. Thinking seriously about switching pharmacies.

My family and I have been using this pharmacy for some time now.Really, its not a bad place. Most of the staff is ok. But theres one lady who usually runs the drive thru, I think her name is Karen? She is extremely rude and condescending. She always thinks shes right, even when she finds out shes not. She never apologizes for the way she acts or the things she says either.Ive started to go to the other location, and the staff there is so much nicer. Would definitely recommend going to one of the other locations.

Pharmacist is extremely rude. Was rude to the nurse from my doctors office when she called in my prescriptions. They have given me the wrong medications. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Would love to speak to the owner about how rudely I was treated and how rude he was to the nurse from my doctors office. I am trying to make everyone aware of the horrible treatment they give their customers.

The first time I ever stepped foot in this establishment was yesterday (1/10/18). I wanted to be tested for the flu. My test, luckily, came back negative. They called me back this evening to follow up with how Im feeling. I told them my symptoms (sore throat and congestion) and they recommended over the counter medicines I can take and will check up with me in a few days. Amazing customer experience, which is the future of successful businesses! I will pass along my positive experience to others! Well done, guys!

CVS, WALGREENS, even WALMART PHARMACY is better than this place!!! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!

Always always an issue here. Would love to support our local pharmacy but never can someone nice or knows what theyre doing ....Walgreens it is I guess

Very helpful in keeping track of my prescriptions. They routinely call ahead for refills and have everything ready when I go for pickup.

A smile and pleasant personality goes a long way and is lacking when you go through the drive thru. I have used them for almost 30 years but will take my business elsewhere.

We have been longtime customers here and cant say enough good things about this business. Highly recommend
