First thing that should be said is yes they do give you food and that is a blessing! But it needs to be said how rude they are!!!! Every month they want something different from you for proof and they lie about it. You call and ask what you need and they tell you, then you show up and all of a sudden its different! The lady in the front is very rude and disrespectful. She called my husband, who is DYING OF CANCER, names! Which is on recording!! If you disagree at all they give you skimpy boxes with moldy bread in it. They have lost their will to help needy and its a disgrace!!!!

I think the people that run it keeps the best food for themselves and their families and gives the garbage to the community! Ive went as far as filling out grievance papers on them! I also have pictures of the food theyre putting out. Im born and raised in this community.

1st time experience was not the greatest, had to hear the staff talking poorly of the people that were in front of me after they left. Made me almost wonder if they do this to everyone that comes in after they leave. Made me feel like I was a nusence to them because I needed help at the time. It took a lot for me to even go in for help, and now I dont think ill ever go back should I ever need help again.

I have lived in Manhattan 2 years now & only been here 3 times & never have I got to pick items but seen others pick because of all the documents they ask for I dont receive food stamps & times are rough all because Im taking care of my mom with dementia & not out looking for work they refused to help they gave me stuff I had to throw away such as old soup & also I have 2 diabetic ppl in my family & they wanted to send me with cake. I thought they were here to help ppl in need
