This business is not here for the community. They are here to appease their own ego. They are not a low income clinic; they are a prove you have income clinic. I was rejected because I could not provide pay stubs or a letter on company letter head. My company pays by hand written check, and the clinic has no work around. They were not willing to take my word, or contact my employer to verify. Susan is the office manager, and completely lacks customer service skills. She is short, quick to get defensive, will hang up on you if asked questions she doesnt know how to answer, and is very happy if you cant provide exactly what they need. Unemployed people are not welcome here, as you must provide proof of income to be seen. I feel sorry for Manhattan that we put on the guise of helping people in need; when in reality, the hoops they make needy people jump through make it almost impossible to get the medical attention every American deserves. My only option now is to go to the emergency room, which is surely not designed to provide long term medical attention. Shame on the Flint Hills Clinic for being so completely detached form the people they are employed to serve.
