I have had nothing but an extremely positive experience with Dr. Koeneke and his amazing staff. I was scared to death when I was given a diagnosis of Colon Cancer stage 3C. I wasnt clear on what it meant and if there would be a plan of action in place. Little did I know at the time but my team of doctors was already on the ball, working behind the scenes to make a treatment plan for me. Once I had resection surgery on my colon, Dr. Koenekes staff reached out to me and I am so glad they did. My husband and I met with Dr. Koeneke and from the first moment I met him, I felt at ease. He answered all of our questions and he had a definite treatment plan in mind for me that I 100% agreed with. I have been seeing Dr. Koeneke for months now and Ive never had to wait for months for appointments. I have a schedule for appointments, blood work, any scans needed. Im treated with respect from all the nurses there and I admire them all. They make me feel at home when Im there. Dr. Koeneke listens to me and any concerns I might have. He explains everything to me in a way I understand and thats something I really appreciate. I also feel like I get a complete appointment. He doesnt try to hurry the appointment along like some doctors do. I will recommend Dr. Koeneke and his staff as often as I can. My family and I are all grateful to him and his staff. I would like to mention that Shelly, Bri, Bryn, Callie, and Amy are amazing.
If I had to have cancer I’m glad Dr. Koeneke has been my Dr. He takes a very complex subject explains it in detail and makes everything understandable.
I appreciate Dr. Koeneke, but have been frustrated with the nurses lack of professionalism, and that they lose vital paperwork.
