Do your research before going here. looks like some might be good by the reviews. One I had in JC was terrible!! I just was put with one because she had soonest opening, thats probably why she had openings, because she was terrible. I suggest to wait and get a good one, do not settle.

After struggling with my panic disorder and depression I called around town for 6weeks before finally getting an appt here. After waiting weeks to get in, I got a call 2hrs prior to my first visit saying the therapist was canceling. I moved my work day to accommodate this appt. I told the office manager I didn’t think this was professional. She told me it was out of her hands. I said if I would have canceled within 24hrs I would have been charged the service. Not to mention I waited over a month to get in to see someone. They said they could reschedule to the next week or two weeks later, which didn’t wrk for my schedule. I asked if that was fair??.. I was told I could call the crisis center.I think Manhattan has a monopoly on mental health facilities and how they treat people who are struggling to be seen is pretty inhumane and negligent.

I saw a associate from this office for over 6 months. Other than a high bill. The front entry staff is amazing nice! The always were nice to me. But I felt that the therapist I had was very negative or didn’t give any help at all in all personal experiences. He had quoted and gave a very generic over view of what I was experiencing as a adult(and is big on reverse psychology) He was definitely that one said “ uh hum yes...(wrote some stuff done on his tablet.... uh hum yes) “ type of therapists. He claimed he would be straight forward with me which is okay with me.... it was what I needed . But he didn’t do that(it was one sided if he did,) I can gladly say I have now found a psychiatrist who isn’t just going to take my money and actually help me thru my problems, and not be sexist or bias on my situation. So all have to say when it comes to mental health. Sometimes you HAVE to shop around. A therapist beliefs will still come out, regardless of what they they say at the beginning.

I saw Katherine for over a year. She is perhaps one of the kindest people I have ever known. She is incredibly skilled in EMDR (a specific model of therapy for trauma, which was a main focus of my own work), and she went at my pace. Most importantly, I felt like I could really connect with her which made all the difference. One of the best! Couldnt be happier with my experience.

Paul Busk is simply fantastic! My husband and I saw him for premarital counseling and it was such a good investment. It was important for us to find someone that we could both feel comfortable meeting with and Paul was the perfect fit. Ive recommended him to many of our friends and will continue doing so.

Went to Paul Busk for marriage counseling for about 3 months at the last session him yelling at me steered me right into a divorce. Best divorce counselor I know.
