I recently prepaid for personal training sessions with Executive. A substantial amount of money for several months. After staffing changes I decided not to continue. When I asked to get my money back for unused services, I was told that I can’t get a refund and that they were keeping all of the prepaid funds. I’m not one to ever post negative comments online, and it’s a nice enough place. Just beware of their business tactics and don’t prepay for services under any circumstances.

My son started private swimming classes with The swimming instructor at the Executive club last Week and already got canceled for his class tomorrow and I asked if we are confirmed for next week she says unless something happens again so it’s such a disappointment, you would think they would be more reliable specifically with kids, my son was super excited for the class tomorrow and now she canceled. Also i never heard back from the manager either, you call all day and email no one gets back to you and you explain they say that the teacher has the right to cancel a day before the class so basically they can do it all the time and no apologies whatsoever.

Facilities are what youd expect for a higher end health club. Family changing rooms are a bit dirty, with dust left in place. However, the BIGGEST issue with this club is the lack of availability of swimming time. The swim schedules are almost totally dedicated to their swim teams, at the times that a regular paying member is able to swim I.e. before/after regular working hours. During the Winter, the swim teams dominated the indoor pool and now its Summer, its the same with the outside pool. There is growing discontent amongst the regular members and manager ignores the issue. The poor front desk must be sick of hearing the complaints.By the way, the review 2 or 3 prior to this (Justin Benton) is from the actually Manager. That probably says it all!!If you want to join for the swimming, think twice and start looking at the other pool options, now that Covid is passing.

Great visit as usual. Never crowded. Outdoor amenities look fantastic.

I had to write a review after seeing something complaining about prices, that they charge for everything. This is a BUSINESS!! If you can’t afford to pay for a towel you better of find a cheaper gym somewhere else. If you can’t afford the lifestyle get over it, giving 1 star review won’t change that.This gym is a high end gym not for every pocket get over it if you cannot afford it, there is a YMCA down the corner. I’m actually happy that these people don’t go to this gym because i looove going there it is perfect.

I highly recommend the Executive to anyone looking for an exceptional fitness facility. I have been a member for two years and cannot say enough about the facilities, class offerings, staff and ownership. During the pandemic the Executive immediately responded to members needs by not charging monthly fees and still providing free online virtual classes and live Facebook Bootcamps that catered to everyone’s level of fitness. Since the Exec’s reopening in June they have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to bring everyone back safely with a renewed focus on health, fitness and amenities. The new fall schedule for Group X and Extreme training classes look amazing. Thank you! I can’t wait to get at it!

They are doing a fantastic job keeping this gym clean and safe during the COVID restrictions. The fitness manager, Amanda, is amazing and she works hard to solicit member feedback and balance everyones needs the best she can all while teaching great classes herself! The new schedule is thoughtful and well balanced to accommodate a variety of member needs. All of the staff is friendly, helpful and wonderful at the gym and I get a great workout every single time!

Love the Executive. Been here for five years. Facility is always clean and staff is super friendly and always communicates well and takes feedback to heart from clients. Even during the lockdown, they had great virtual content, continued to pay their staff, and didn’t charge members during the tough times. All the instructors are great and I would not be in the shape I am now if not for the great classes and awesome personal trainers!

This health club is AWESOME! I just joined (wanting to leave the smaller gym I was at for extra space). The joining process was seamless, and I already feel right at home here. Pools are great! Fitness rooms are SO clean. Very organized here, compared to what I was used to.

Swimming lessons were ok, but pool was too cold for the kids and too deep for me (pool 4.5fr deep, often overfilled, Im 5-1 and it was hard to hold the kids/help them in water that deep). Nice family changing rooms except bathrooms were in a different location.

The staff is always friendly and professional. There are so many options to choose this isnt just a ordinary facility. Any time Ive ever needed something the staff or mangers were more than helpful and made sure to be respectful and make sure as a customer my needs were 100% met. 10/10 recommend joining, you wont regret it!

It’s good to be back. I realized how much I missed working out at The Executive. It’s become a part of my routine in life.

I normally dont write reviews, but couldnt help but notice a series of weird 1 star reviews on July 3 2020 (7 in total) one of which went by the name your father ... clearly none of these reviews on this date are reliable or give an honest review/rating of the business. Being a business owner myself, I felt the need to write a review in this companies defense.I personally know the owners of this business. They are hardworking, caring, responsive, provide jobs for many, and a wonderful service to the community. Its shameful to see someone purposefully trying to hurt their reputation during such a difficult time for so many businesses during this pandemic. The health club is clean, staff are professional, and its hands down the best health club in the granite state.

An amazing FIT class on Mondays at 5:30 with a big following taught by a reliable and actually fit instructor was stupidly cancelled by a new mgr of classes. Ill be leaving after almost 20 yrs a member. The current class schedule offered is useless to me. Maybe it suits others.

By far the best gym in Manchester. Clean, helpful staff and large enough that you can have your own space.

For a single person this isnt the gym for you. The 3 private training session you receive have nothing to do with personal training. One session was just explaining how the equipment works. Another was to discuss the cost of personal training. The pool is hardly ever open to regular members. My only good experience was with the recruiter.

I visit AIANE at the South entrance. The grounds are very clean as the entrance and the offices are very large and clean. Very easy to get to.

This place is a ripoff! They’ve been taking advantage of the current pandemic in order to juice more money out of their clients! If you leave a bad review, only then they call you saying they’ll fix the issue. And then - they don’t!!!! Stay away!!!!

Great place to do anything!

The Executive is truly by far my favorite gym. So much things to do there to keep me entertained. The employees are also very welcoming when I first walk in. I am also currently in the swim team too. All of the coaches are truly awesome. This is such a great gym to come to.

Great gym , offers upstairs and downstairs gym . Outstanding outdoor pool . The truest sense of a health club with steam rooms and saunas . Covid has shut down the steam room and sauna which is frustrating but we dont have a choice .This is not a gym that is packed , this is not a gym if you are only interested in eye candy . This is a health club / gym with many additional amenities.

Horrible gym and worst of all is the people who works there they are chatty and often ignores me when I’m just trying to check in and also the owner is absolutely rude. I refuse to go back here.

Unfortunately my membership is still active. I’ve been trying to cancel since September, which is when the agreement was up! Luckily my bank can block charges.

This has been my gym for years and I absolutely love everything about it. From the peaceful and well equipped environment, to the employees, to cleanliness, to hours of operation, plus very kid friendly, this is my gateway in the city. A place to workout hard but also make friends and relax!

I enjoyed the locker room, but that was really all. The place is overrun by unsupervised children. You can barely walk down the hallway without tripping over a child. I had high hopes for this gym but was disappointed.

This health club is nothing short of first class. Hands down the best facility in the southern NH area. The equipment is new, innovative, and always clean. The locker rooms are newly renovated in the last year or two and Im never hesitant to use all the amenities. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are clean, well maintained, and always taken care of. Very family friendly atmosphere.

What kinda place that charges a $250 signup fee plus nearly $100 monthly membership charge, CHARGES FOR TOWELS AT THE POOL!!!??? Really?? Tje first request I had as a potential member and they not only told me I had to PAY for a towel, but i also had to go BACK UPSTAIRS to purchase it!! Some cheap-O didnt think that brain fart through!

They have a lot of different sports and they have a shop to get a drink or snack and the place is clean and nice.

The remodeled Executive is now definitely one of the best gyms in the area. In addition to the racket ball and tennis courts they have a great strength training area and swimming pool. It does get busy after work so if you can go in the morning or lunch youll beat the crowds.

Great place for the family. Good basketball coaching for young kids.

Basic membership is $100 plus. If you want to use anything else like tennis, you have to pay extra, if you wanna use a towel you have to pay extra, there’s extra for everything to the point you get scared to use the bathroom.The biggest embarrassment is if a friend comes to visit and you’d like them to come with you then you have to pay.This place is literally 5 minutes away fro my house. However, I choose to go to a very far gym which is a lot better. You cam bring a friend anytime and that won’t be an issue, you. An use all the towels you need at no extra charge.Conclusion, if you really want to throw your money at a gym full of kids, since it’s more of a family gym, unprofessional staff like Michelle, who got really mad when I refused to pay extra for the stuff she offered, then this is your gym.It’s been about a year since I canceled my membership but what I heard from my friend recently about this gym, made me leave this review.

Actually at health care center which was fast and courteous

So rude! If they want consistency, they should explain it better. I signed my son up for the hockey program, and not only did he learn absolutely nothing other than running around, they never checked me in at the front desk, so when I proceeded to do my regular walk to the room they literally screamed maam so loud to get my attention so that I could sign in and so disrespectfully told me that I ALWAYS have to sign in, even though I never have. Which I understand if I have to, but their approach was just so rude. I feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcomed here. Maybe if I drove a Lamborghini and was 5yrs older and just looked well off, they wouldnt have been so disrespectful.

Excellent facility with great amenities, especially when considering the comparable services offered in the area. Always clean, never anyone competing for space or equipment and extremely knowledgeable staff for training your body correctly. I often take advantage of the sister location in Hooksett, making it virtually impossible to miss a workout...Would and have recommended to anyone looking for a premiere facility in the Manchester area.

I have a few words for this place but I will reframe from them. My problem with this place is not only did they treat their members awfully during the pandemic but also how atrocious the staffing was and also the people who run and own that place.

Its great but Im not spending anything over 75$ a month to work out. Its not crossfit, liability cant be that high.

Go before or after the noon hour. A nice, convenient gym if youre downtown. The staff is friendly and polite. Theres a huge spin class room, two treadmills, a stair climber, and some nice machine equipment.

Great facility and lots of new equipment. Friendly and helpful staff. Great for families and older generation as well as hard core fitness junkies.

Friendly staff, everything is in good condition and clean. Really enjoy everything this place has to offer. We take our 18 month old twoce a week in the pool and she loves it here too!

We took our kids for swim lessons for years from 3 years to about 7. I just register and they have remodeled and its beautiful with more options and day care too. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great swim team

One of the best clubs around for tennis. They have 3 indoor courts and an online reservation system. The premier membership includes indoor court time. So, if you think youll be playing a lot, its definitely worth it. They have three pros (at least) and a good amount of classes. They have free ball machine classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. At other times, the ball machine is pretty cheap to rent. They also have an active tennis community.In general, for pluses, they have a lot of facilities. Indoor and outdoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor hot tub, racquetball, cardio machines, spinning, weights, classes, family changing rooms, a bar/restaurant, a little snack area. They have golf pro shop and a little clothing store. The location is also excellent. Also included with the premier membership are a host of outdoor summer classes and activities.For minuses, they are a bit more expensive than the Y,. Food is ok, not great. Tennis reservation system could be improved. A lot of times during prime hours tennis courts are booked for lessons. No kids work out area. When I joined, they told me they were building one, but it doesnt look like theyve made any progress.

Your business practices are frightening at best.

I just stopped in to use the bathroom (left my drivers license due to previous issues as stated by employee) and from what Ive seen, the place has a pool, gym, and handball courts, as well as some exercise bikes. Not too bad for $85 a month

Been there for 7 years and has thever best weight room and fitness team in the region...hands down. Child care is amazing and the equipment is all brand new. Not the cheapest BUT you get what you pay for.

Great instructors but their communication is nonexistent. Indoor pool was closed for renovations but they never informed us that the swim lessons would be moved to the outdoor pool. My son froze for 30 minutes in 50 degree weather. No call, no email because we werent regular members.

Been a long term member now for nearly 20 years. Best club in Manchester area. Great for families and singles alike.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - purchased a college membership for my daughter this summer. She went today 8/8 and they told her the membership expired yesterday. No email to remind her membership was ending and they would not even let her workout today and we had previously had a family membership for 16 years!! 16 years and they can’t even give a free guest pass for a day?? Absolutely terrible way to treat a loyal customer and when I called member services no call back. They did let her know she could pay $75 for the week since she leaves for school next week. We passed on that “generous” offer and am disgusted and disappointed.

Although it offers a lot of classes, it’s very pricey and the people at the front desk are clueless 90% of the time

I visited Executive a couple of weeks ago because I am currently looking for a gym facility. This will be from my point of view of just taking a tour, I have not worked out at this gym. The facility appeared to be very clean and did have quality equipment. The mens locker room facility was clean and was built with quality materials. The reason I am giving it a 3 star rating is based on price. I decided not to become a paying customer based on price alone. Given the quality of the facility I do agree that Executive provides a level of service that warrants a price point that exceeds other local gyms with average/good facilities, however, the fee they were expecting during my visit was beyond my perceived value. While I can certainly afford the monthly fee, I am not willing to support a business that I consider to be gouging their customers.

It was great for about two months, until their swim teams season began. Their swim team practices 7 days a week, 6 hours a day, most nights until 9pm or 9:30, when the facility closes at 10pm. On the weekends, theyre only open until 6pm, and you need to contend with families+small children, plus the swim team still practices 4 hours/day. I cant come early because I commute to work, so for the money, Im getting not much more than a membership at Planet Fitness.

Dont do it! Im giving one star because you cant give 0 God forbid you have a change in your life and you are unable to pay their ridiculous monthly free anymore. I had no warning, but gave them notice as soon as I knew I could not afford to go there anymore. Unfortunately, they have a 30 day cancellation policy that they will not make exceptions for. I was told they would look into it, see what they can do to help, even asked me for my card number to put the money back on. A week later, still nothing, I email over and over only to get the same run around answer, we are doing all we can. 2 weeks later Im angry, my bills are bouncing, had to close my bank account to stop the fees. Im getting late fees on top of bank fees, all over $192 that they can afford to refund but refuse. Dont go there unless you plan 30 days ahead to have a life changing event.

This is one of the best fitness clubs in the nation, let alone the one and the only high end one in New Hampshire. It was around for a while now and famous for its high prices. This is not a club to join and not go. It is too expensive for that. However, it is well worth it if you are a regular and utilize all their amenities. Personally, this place is a game changer during infamous new England winter. You can not only work out effectively but also enjoy the sauna and the steam room before you head out to the freezing cold.They have several basketball, tennis and squash courts. Good size indoor running track is invaluable during winter.Fitness equipment are well maintained and pretty modern. There are lots of options even though I would not consider this place as a hardcore bodybuilding gym which might be a plus for general public.There are several classes available such as yoga, pilates, les mills etc. There are also other group classes for extra charge.There is a good size indoor swimming pool but effectively not usable due to the swimming team utilizing literally around the clock. If you are thinking about joining just for the pool, look somewhere else. There is also outdoor swimming pool which is open during the summer for extra charge.There are some bad reviews about billing services. I would like to say that the billing practices for all gyms are the same and contract based. If you do not understand what a contract means, then you should not sign it.

Worst place every, the amount you pay for the gym a month is ridiculous. They are so short staffed with a revolving door of people coming and going always a new face every day. Place is not very clean most members only come here for the pool and eat greasy food from the Mini restaurant they have. None of them ever actually workout, is this a fitness center or a country club I am so confused here. The General Manager/ Owner JB is another story he treats employees like dirt, hates when they stand up for them selves and fires them or treats them like dirt so they just quit. He surely will end up having this place go under soon or later if he keeps up with his BS. The Original Owners have given all responsibilities to their children so you can now see what has been done to Executive and their other place Express not to mention Sportsplex. You give management responsibility to inexperienced people and they will ruin what you have established. Stay far away from this place not worth the money spend it elsewhere it is not what it seems till you have been in the inside and seen it from both member and as an employee.. Stay away.

Non member trying to use their spa services. My therapist left and they wont refund my pre-paid services. They will not return my calls or emails. Have tried several visits. I used to be a member and quit cause the rate was mysteriously going up every few months.
