First let me say I would give Dr Webster 5 stars based on my two previous visits, however I am giving Horizon 1 star for the following reason. I called to get an appointment and was put on hold 3 times for 15-20 minutes each time. I then was told they would call me back because they were too busy. I tried again after an hour and the lady said give me 5 more minutes and I will call you back. 2 hours later and no call. Even 2 days later no call back. I even filled out an online request for an appointment and nothing. I understand everyone is understaffed but how long does it take to give someone an appointment date and time? I hate it for Dr Webster that he doesn’t have good help.

I have been going here for over 5 years and every time I need a referral every thing has been perfect. I could go to VA for free but it tajes days so I just pay my co pay and get everything done right away.

DR. WEBSTER AND I HAVE BEEN TOGETHER SINCE THE LAST SUPPER AND IVE ALWAYS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF IN A SUPERIOR MANNER, TO INCLUDE ALL OF HIS STAFF. PERSONNALLY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HORIZON MEDICAL CENTER. MY ONLY DISLIKE IS HOW HARD IT IS TO MAKE A U-TURN INTO HORIZONS FROM HUNTSVILLE.

I absolutely love Dr. Webster and his staff Ms. A is amazing. Thats for me! Its a different story for my daughter! I didnt even know there was a female doc. She doesnt tell you whats wrong. Prescribes expensive meds that are not covered by the insurance. Comparable to OTC you can get much cheaper per Pharmacy. I told my daughter to ask for another physician. I guess she didnt. Horrible service/physician in an awesome place!!

I would recommend everyone call their insurance providers. I’ve been going here years and I have to have a drug screen everytime I go in that I pay for. Last Several times I went in they told me I had a credit on my account for X amount and only owed X amount. Months later I go in and they tell me I owe several hundred dollars before I can be seen. They tell me they didn’t charge me for stuff because they “ assumed “ my insurance would cover it because it has for others. They then tell me I didn’t pay for drug test in certain months I have kept my receipt ( ALWAYS KEEP YOUR RECEIPT) that I did pay for them. I called my insurance and they told me they have always covered them and their has been no change. I am pulling my receipts and bank records as well as having my insurance send me paperwork to get to the bottom of it. I pray no one else has to deal with this. Please ask questions and keep your paperwork. Do not give extra money away because of their mistakes.

After going to dr, after waiting, after paying them good money they somehow seem to forget to call in your prescription. So I called the pharmacy and they tell me there has been no prescription called in for me.When calling the clinic to check on it. The receptionist gives the message to the nurse. An hour later your phone rings and it’s the receptionist telling you the nurse assures you it has been called in. So you then proceed to to call the pharmacy back then they tell u it was called in 15 min. Ago. It’s only happened about 4 times now....oh and should it really be a hassle to go to the dr. Be friendly and get a prescription that you have to call back for. Seems very unprofessional to me. But who am I to say? I only use the same money and insurance everybody else does. If something doesn’t change guess I’ll be changing doctors. And I like the doctor but he really does need some new friendly nurses.

Dr. Webster is awesome!!! His staff is professional, caring, and Honest! I have been going here for almost 2 years and it’s the BEDT Dr. I have had since moving to this area 10 years ago!! I live 30 miles from the office yet it is sooo worth it!!! Dr. Has been patient, understanding, and best of all actually cares about me!! Could not ask for any better!!

They seem to be nice but they take forever! And they didn’t wear gloves or anything when examining or taking blood. All I hear is a bunch of talking and laughing. I’ve been here for 4 hours now. This is ridiculous!

I came obviously because Im not feeling well. They got me in a room mind you I didnt stay in the lobby I waited in my car. When I walked back to my room some Nurse who wouldnt give me her name came at me about what I can and cant not do while in the lobby with others. I looked at her told her how rude and unprofessional she was and to get out of my room and get the doctor. I have nothing to say to you. She then realized she had the wrong patient. Ill never come back here. Why would anyone in a vulnerable state want to come to a doctor for help just to be yelled at by there staff. You should always make sure you have the right patient before talking about anything.

I just moved here and I cant get anyone on the phone here! I had one appointment about 2 months ago and waited for over an hour and a half, and when I did finally speak to Dr. Webster he only spoke to me for 5 minutes! He didnt help me at all! I had tendinitis in my wrist. He wrote me a prescription for something I couldve gotten OTC, it didnt help. He didnt tell me any exercises that might help, nothing! The worst office Ive ever been in.

So glad to have 2 great Doctors in Madison that really do care about their patients and not just about the money. Take time to actually sit down and listen to what is hurting you and do a X-ray to find out exactly what it is. The nurses and front dress is really nice. I even contacted Billing the day before my appointment and they called back the same day.

I have been a patient since 2008 and clinic has always been very professional with two great doctors on staff. There are days of the week that clinic is overwhelmed with both appointments and walk-ins.The nurses are very understanding and patient oriented. I have always walked out of the clinic feeling that my needs have been satisfied.

Dr Webbster has been my primary Doctor sence 2007 Horizons Medical Care I admit has a long wait. The care Dr Webbster and Dr Harragan give is superior. The nurse Practictioner is awsome as well.

Yesterday i visited this office for the first time 6-27-18, granted this was my first ever doctors office experience as an adult. Sad but true.. I found the staff to be professional,fast,and courteous. I cant put into words the compassion and understanding the doctor implemented in my care plan, but I would refer anyone with truthful honest intentions to give this office a try..

I have moved my primary care over to Horizon after several visits there. Dr. Webster and his staff are extremely professional and always take great care of me and my husband. They have also seen both of my sons there and provided them with awesome care as well when I was unable to get appts with their pediatrician. I love the fact that they have the latest technology and in-house lab and x-rays for testing. I can then go online to see my test results. This place earns 5+ stars for providing top notch care in the Huntsville/Madison area.

I visited this clinic with my son for his sports physical, it was the most complete assessment I have ever had completed. The staff were respectful. The wait was a little long be where have you been where there is not a wait to see the doctor. It I can rush in and out of a doctors office I should be concern of the kind of care that I am getting. I will go back again and I do recommend Horizons.

I want to say, Dr.’s Webster and Harrigan are extremely good doctors, very polite and friendly and willingness to work with you very well I like them very much and I’ve been going there for years and no problems with them or the nurses they are patient and very polite as well they are always very sweet to me and my child with whom I have to bring with me and have had to for a while now but there is one nurse particularly is the rudest most unprofessional nurse I’ve ever seen,ESPECIALLY to children. If you have a ADHD child try your best NOT to take him or her in with you because if they make the SLIGHTEST bit of noise she will threaten them you with discharge and she will tower over the child and tell it that he or she will NOT be allowed back in the office,even if you have been going there for years and the child is EXTREMELY better than he or she was when you began bringing them into the office with you and even if you have absolutely no one to care for them while you are there getting your medications. This person under NO circumstances should be talking to the child but instead you. My child is ADHD and seriously sometimes can’t control his or herself but after 31/2 years is practically a different child and she still acts like him or her are acting as they did in the beginning. I advise anyone who has a child like this to speak directly to Doctor Webster because these are things that we the patient should under NO circumstances have to deal with or worry about considering we are there the treatment of one or more illnesses and something of this nature could cause a problem for yourself or even POSSIBLY to the child. She is an adult and should act accordingly especially when it concerns a child.

The staff is unfriendly especially Barbara! No compassion. She wouldnt take a payment arrangement for a small bill paying half Wednesday and the rest Friday. The same week. They only reason I keep coming here is Dr. Webster and Dr. Harriagan and the one nurse that been her for years. They losing me. Ive been coming here since early 2000. Theyre staff is not like family. They isnt the 1st time either. Also when it comes to getting my prescriptions filled they never call them all in. I have to continue to call back it still doesnt get done. I need a referral for another family doctor.

Ive recently started coming here after I left American Family for multiple reasons. The staff here is friendly in every way, the doctor came in and assessed my heath situation, gave me advice, made a few jokes here and there: overall very friendly. Im overall satisfied with the service here. It didnt take too long to get seen either. Definite recommendation

Go anywhere, but here. Doctors are good and nurses are good but support staff is HORRIBLE. They treated my like I was an incapable 3 year old the whole time. I would avoid going there at all costs. I am sure there are way better places in town with much kinder employees. Seriously they are so overly rude. They went out of their way to be rude to me

I went here while I had the flu. I was having trouble breathing and I was on the faint side of things. I was OBVIOUSLY sick since my skin was pale and I could barely stand up. So when I came back to the room the nurse quickly left the room and when she came back she said they were taking me to get an X-ray. I informed her that I did not have health insurance she left the room again. When she came back she told me there was nothing they could do for me and sent me away. The staff was rude and they had no bedside manners.

I recommend making an appointment, although I have made appointments and still waited there for over two hours. With that being said, I have always been treated fairly and had my concerns addressed. Basically what youd expect from a walk-in style clinic.

Came here for the first time my appointment was at 10 o clock I arrived about 20 minutes prior. I did my paper work waited about an hour before I received a room I talked to the nurse about my medical history waited another hour talked to a nurse about me having to go to work and the amount of time I had waited. I came back to my room the doctor came in shook my hand and assured me I would make it to work on time. I then waited another 20-30 minutes and before walking out. I come to the doctor about everything and the amount of time I could have wasted waiting on them to get it together wasn’t something I was willing to do. Time is precious and they will not be getting any more of my time or money.

Do NOT go here for medical treatment. I took my boyfriend to Horizons today at 3:30; he waited a little over an hour to be seen, then waited another 30 minutes in the back to be seen. This was to be expected and was no problem, I understand that a long wait is to be expected. The nurse saw him and did x-rays. It turned out he has a major infection and was issued a prescription for antibiotics. We left Horizons by 6 and went to go pick up his prescription and found out from the pharmacy that it was not called in. He immediately contacted Horizons and asked why the prescription had not been filled they said it had. We confirmed with the pharmacy the status of his prescription, still no prescription had been called in. We called horizons back repeatedly and were sent to voicemail every time, leaving two messages. When we finally reach Horizons again via phone the receptionist hung up when we trying to confirm with the nurse on his prescription. They never returned his calls and now that they are closed he does not have medicine until tomorrow. This doctors office acted with complete disinterest and negligence once we left. Regardless of how hard we tried to get the prescription for his massively infected arm, the nurses and receptionists disregard for patient care, what doctors offices exist for, was untenable and against the hippocratic oath. Through their inaction my boyfriend is in pain for another 16 hours and, unwilling to spend the outrageous amount (even with insurance) that an emergency room visit would require, he was left with little choice but to suffer and hope the infection got no worse before he received his antibiotics.If youre expecting quick, friendly and thorough customer care, I would suggest going anywhere BUT Horizons Medical Center.-Dani Orlando

Many people might think this is petty but this is near an dear to my heart. This office have been my primary care physician for about 8 years and I would probably give.them a.rating of 3 to 4 stars but today when I went in for an injury they asked for my ID as always when asked for my ID is gave them my retired Military ID when she asked for my drivers license I asked why I gave a federal ID the lady at.the desknow refused to accept it and continued to ask for my drivers license. I left right then and I will never step foot in that office again. To me not accepting a military ID is disrespectful to our nations military.

They were kind enough to me, however they do not check with your insurance before performing the examination and so will perform what they wish, regardless if it is covered or not. I went in for a routine physical with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and received a $250 bill because they ran procedures not covered, without informing me. I would not recommend and will not return regardless of the health I am in.

I will never go back to this clinic again. I usually look at reviews and still give the place a try because people usually write up the bad reviews, but this is one time I should have listened. I waited over 3 hours to see the doctor and after the 4th hour rolled around I asked for my money back and left. Not to mention the staff is the rudest I have ever encountered in my life. They were even rube and unsympathetic to a lady who had waited just as long as I did with a sick 3 yr old. All I will say is never ever ever again will they see me or my family. The owner really needs to reevaluate his establishment

Yes, if you didnt make an appointment you will wait quite some time but at least they will see you. New patient and i read the reviews everyone has their own personal experience, mines was excellent I didnt have to wait long the MA was very nice and I loved talking to her also the nurse with the long wavy hair was very nice and sweet as well as her assistants, the front desk receptionist was nice and pleasant wish I remember their names so I could thank them properly for being courteous, not to mention my now new primary care Dr. Harrigan he showed really concerns about my hypertension he made sure all my questions was answered and my concerns was addressed, I will definitely be a permanent patient with Dr Harrington. 5strs

Terrible treated my wife like a dog. She came in sick so bad she ended up in ER twice because they refused I help her migraines were so bad she lost vision. They gave her a prednisone shot which was for no reason and when she began to cry because the office administrator came in the room and refused to let me talk to my doctor about treatment she had printed off all my medications i have had prescribed over the last year and stated she couldn’t give me anything for the extreme blinding migraine I had because two weeks before I had oral surgery and was give pain meds for that. I begged for anything even if it wasnt pain meds to get the hurt to stop l. She did nothing. The rudeness and lack of care for patients disgust me. I will be filing complaint with BBB. These people are highly unprofessional

Awful clinic. I have asked for the same prescription on three occasions now, they said they prescribed it each time, yet they lied. When they do prescribe, they lie to me about which medication it is. They file bills as without medical reason so that I dont get covered. Then their bill doesnt have an online code to pay. If that wasnt bad enough, the billing department doesnt answer their phone.

My husband has been a patient here for 4 years now. He pays out of pocket with no insurance every single time...yet ASTOISHINGLY we just recieved bill for almost freaking bill for almost $300 for what? We do not know. Nothing new or different was done. When you have insurance and pay a copay you are obligated to pick up the cost of uncovered procedures. When you are paying almost $200.00 out of pocket with no insurance you should be told if they are about to charge something else for something they are not actually even doing.

I 100% agree with Theresa Bounds. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HORIZON MEDICAL CENTER TO ANYONE.The first time I went to Horizon Medical I took my daughter as a walk-in. Since we were walk-ins I expected there to be a wait. By the time we left, we had been there for 2 hours. However, they were busy that day and we were walk-ins so I didnt think too much of it. The second time, I made an appointment, thinking my son and I wouldnt have to wait as long if we had an appointment. The appointment was at 5:00pm and my son and I arrived 20 minutes BEFORE the appointment. I wont state all the details here, but due to the fact that the staff is COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT at their jobs we were not even seen by the doctor until 6:30 for a 5:00 appointment. We saw several people that came in AFTER us, see the doctor and leave long before we saw the doctor. The staff and doctor were completely rude and never once apologized for their mistake or tried to make it right. I also agree that they havent any knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws. The doctor nor nurse closes the door when they leave and enter the room. When you walk down the hall you can look in the rooms and see the patients and hear EVERYTHING! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE for your treatment.

Dr Webster and Dr Harrigon are definitely one in a million. I have seen them both for years and refuse to go elsewhere. Some days there is a minor wait but its well worth the care given and the courteous staff. I absolutely love them all hereAfter 11 years of service and being a cash pay patient being told today to shut up was not cool. The dr had no part in that. What a dr does with one patient has no bearing on my treatment plan but yet I was told about that as well. I absolutely love dr Webster but will not pay to be spoken to in a disrespectful way. I am completely shocked. Again this was not the dr.

So the second time I went (thinking that it may be a little better this time) I had to wait EVEN LONGER THAN THE LAST TIME GOING --- This doctor will only talk to you for 1 minute / maybe 2 at the most --- You will wait FOREVER but you will have no time to speak to the doctor because they are too busy (as per nurse statement). Please do your research before you go here. Madison Urgent Care is right up the road / shorter wait time --- It is connected to the new Madison Hospital --- they have more rooms, more doctors and better people working for them. Horizon Medical Center has some of the rudest people I have ever meet. Yes I did go there twice BUT it was only because I thought that maybe the first time was just a One Time Bad Experience but I am telling you --- they are not the right doctors to go to there. Go one mile up the road to Madison Urgent Care --- Its not The Hospital its an Urgent Care --- Just like a walk in clinic. I had a 25.00 co-pay with Horizon Medical Center and I had a co-pay of 25.00 with Madison Urgent Care. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!!! I am only writting this because its the truth. P.S. While you are in the waiting area --- you will hear the reasons as to why EVERYONE is there waiting --- they know nothing about the HIPAA Privacy Laws. Everyone Knows EVERYTHING THERE!!!!!

Please read the reviews before going to this place, the proof is in the pudding. I would definately go to a different dr.I havent been to many drs in my lifetime but after my botched appendix surgery that left me in severe pain I have had to see quite a few. I was prescribed oxycodone for my pain which worked fine, started seeing Dr Webster to continue on with my pain mgmt. He prescribed the same medicine for over a yr in which time the mg needed to be upd or I needed something for the breakthrough pain. He wasnt comfortable uping the mg or dose so he prescribed the butrane patch along with oxycodone, which I did the research on and turns out the combination of both cancels each other out. Told the dr so he took me off the butrane, never added something else. Therefore I was taking 1-2 extra of the oxycodone throughout the day to help with the breakthrough pain. Later I asked again to up the mg, nope he starts trying different medicines on me, one didnt help my pain at all, one was a prescription that im deathly allergic to & my records indicate that had they looked before giving a medicine to. The rest were ones that my pharmacist had nvr even heard of and wasnt sure if he could even order, if by some chance he could order it my insurance didnt cover bc they had no information on it. I called the office each time & got sorry, he said hes not writing anything else I would have to wait till my nxt appt date to go in to actually see him face to face to get a different prescription which led to one of those answers at the pharmacy. I guess since my insurance was all pd up and I didnt have to pay a copay or for my urine screen this is the service I got. So im assume he was tired of fooling me bc the only prescription he would then give me is the subsolv, which I did not want on to begin with but I was tired of goin thru withdrawals bc he would not give me the proper treatment, even his staff became really rude with me. How was I the problem when he was the one writing me bogus prescriptions that I was having to do all the running for that ended up a dead end each time then me suffering from withdrawals, their answer for that was to go to the ER, nothing they can do. So the zubsolv was making me sooo very sick, faint, dizzy, so again I call the office again same answer, nothing they can do,hes not writing me anything, go to ER.. they suggested I get me a new physician, which after all the hell they put me thru I thought that was a good idea myself. Best decision I ever made.also yes, the staff needs to take classes on manners, more medical classes bc its obvious theyre in it for the money, no one there shows any compassion for people in pain or sick. Mostly at the hands of their wrong doing. The 4-5 hr wait is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT.

Just moved to Huntsville 6 months ago and this is the first Dr Ive seen since being here. I take anti depressants and could not find a psychiatrist that could see me in time so I decided to see a general practitioner so I could get refills on my antidepressants. I didnt have any issue getting my first refills at the first visit. They asked that I come back to see them for lab work in a month or two. So I made the appointment. When I came in for that appointment the Dr listened to me breath a few times and sent me on my way with no instructions to come back. No labwork. Nothing. He gave me my refills and that was that. Two months later, I called to get more refills. I could not speak with anyone. Just got voice mail. I tried a couple more times that day and gave up. No one ever called back. So the next morning I called and got voice mail again. At this point I asked the receptionist to leave an actual note for the nurse to please call in my refills. I finally called back a few hours later and specifically asked to speak with the nurse. Which worked! She did exist. She then told me the Dr needed me to come in for labwork before he would refill my two medications. Oh I failed to mention they had my records from my previous PSYCHIATRIST showing that I have been successfully taking these medications for 4 years. I told the nurse that labwork was supposed to be done at the last appointment, but wasnt. Not my fault. I did my part. I then asked if the Dr would call in 1 refill and Ill make another appointment for lab work. She said she would ask the doctor. As expected at this point, I never heard anything back. I called the next day, got voice mail and again ask the receptionist if I could please speak with the nurse. I called at 8:05 am so that I would catch her before she got too busy. Spoke with her. She said she would call them in, but it may not be right away because she had to leave to do something. I was elated because I was expecting some bullshit reason why he wouldnt refill them!!! I thanked her and told her that would be fine as long as it was called in by tomorrow. So the next day I stopped at the pharmacy and picked up my ONE presciption. Thats all they had for me. Confused, I called horizons. I of course could not speak with the nurse and asked the receptionist if I could please speak with her because at this point it was getting a little ridiculous. She picked up, never asked my name and informed me she called them both in. So I decided maybe it was a mistake on the pharmacies part. The pharmacy did not have another prescription ready for me. *sigh*. Im beyond frustrated. Called horizons back. Asked the receptionist to please leave a note for the nurse to call me. That my pharmacy did not have another rx for me. Called back about 30 minutes later, at this point in tears, explained all details to the receptionist, and begged that she pass the message on to the nurse. She said she would. No call back. It was Friday afternoon. So here I am saturday minus one of my pills. Neither of these medicines are controlled substances. Effexor and lamictal. I take both for depression. When I abruptly stop either I have debilitating withdrawals. Im stopping here. Im suffering. Im taking someones wellbutrin to help with it.
