This place is trashy, I got a huge bruise after the “doctor “ had my blood drawn! Her daughter was very rude! The lady uses one single glove and does not change it never! There is mold in that building and they make you pee in a water cup, and put the pee sample on top of a file gabinete! The urine sample gets contaminated! They changed my appointment, the lady said she was not on her office, but yet she sends a confirmation text! He daughter suggested I was from Mexico! Don’t go to that place! It’s horrible

Please do NOT go to this facility. Even at first glance you can tell this is not a place where they care about patients. The place is very dirty, run down, and outdated. My husband and I came for an immigration medical examination with Dr. Yusuf. As soon as we checked in, the first question they asked was if we had the money to pay for the appointment. She also would only take cash and asked if we needed to go to the bank to get the cash quickly before the appointment. This shows they care more about your money and less about providing patient care. Also it is sketchy that only accept cash for an appointment that costs over $400, plus the fact that this appointment is cash only was never mentioned at the time of scheduling. I understand paying for the service is important but should not be the primary focus before receiving treatment. Luckily we had cash and decided to proceed with appointment. Before the medical examination I tried to ask Dr. Yusuf questions about what the medical exam would entail and how it works but she often would answer my questions by asking if I was sure we wanted to pay for services. She even tried to get my husband on the examination table before all my questions were answered. They do not care about patient consent and will pressure you into receiving treatment before making you feel comfortable. It honestly felt like she was trying to make the money as quick as possible. If we had moved at her pace the $400 appointment would have been over in 5 minutes. Overall Dr. Yusuf is very hostile to questions and often tries to blame you for asking questions by saying we should’ve known this before scheduling your appointment. After my third or fourth attempt asking questions, she made us show her our text confirmation from her receptionist that confirmed our appointment as if she didn’t even know we were on her schedule. Also the examination room has no doors those waiting in the lobby can hear your medical information and this does not maintain patient confidentiality. Please do NOT go here, you will be disappointed . They will treat you with disrespect and look at you as a source of money rather than a human being seeking medical care. We felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that we left without completing the appointment and did not receive the medical examination.

Dr. Yusuf was rude and unprofessional to the point where she blamed me for showing up to my appointment on time. Appointment was for 9 am, doctor confirmed the appointment but when I show up for my appointment the office was closed and when I called she said she was going to be “stuck somewhere until 10 or maybe 11” and that she didn’t have any appointment on her calendar for me. She somehow was trying to blame me for her not putting the appointment on her own calendar. She sent me the confirmation text but then tried to say that she didn’t know about the appointment because she never sent the confirmation text. Who sent it then? I understand mistakes happen but don’t try to blame your patrons for not being able to stay organized or even professional at the very least. Accept the fault and make things right. The basis of customer service.

I want to thank the American Community Medical Center for their excellent service. We needed a doctor for my wifes medical exam, and Dr. Safavi turned out to be the perfect choice. She was very friendly and caring and understood exactly our concerns. She patiently explained all the requirements, easing both our fears, after which the exam went as smoothly and quickly as it could. Dr. Safavi also helped us get my wifes shots at the lowest possible cost. Highly recommended.
