My lawyer and I have been trying to get my medical records from Dr. Arlas office for over three possibly four months now. I have called their office multiple times along with calling their medical records office. I have never received a call back. It is extremely important that I get these records and I can’t even get a call back. The receptionists are rude, especially the short blonde with the glasses.

I am certain that Dr. Arla and his entire team fabricate false bills. I rarely go to the doctor, but when I have gone, it’s to see either Arla Sr. or Arla Jr. Arla Sr. has been my PCP since birth. Every time I go for an appointment, they tell me that I owe roughly $200 and I must pay the balance in order to be seen. The problem with this is that I usually haven’t been to Dr. Arla for two years or more and I’ve never received a bill until I try to go for an appointment. My insurance also covers nearly everything and an appointment should only ever be a $20 co-pay. If I push the issue, suddenly I don’t owe that $200 anymore. How many people(most of their patients are Seniors) pay these mysterious bills without asking questions. I’ve also been to them several times for my physical health and I always end up with a narcotic prescription, without them running a single test.

The receptionist told me shes not allowed to give out their fax number and gave me medical records number. And they wont answer. How am I suppose to send a statement from her doctor to get her meds contiuned? Ridiculous.

I just recently completed my clinical rotation for NP school at Dr. Arla’s practice. I enjoyed it thoroughly and learned so much because of the dedication this doctor has for his patients and students who come prepared to learn. My preceptor, Allison APRN, was great too. She stays extremely busy, but always showed the students patience. I’ve been in the healthcare field for many years now, and I haven’t met a physician as kind-hearted and genuine as Dr. Arla. He cares for his patients individually and takes time out to explain his recommendations and why. His wife is a sweetheart too. I enjoyed working with the staff as well. Laura and Oz were great as they were always quick to help out with whatever the students needed. They made me feel welcome every single day. I can’t say enough positive things about this practice. If you are looking for a physician who cares about YOU and your family, this is where you want to be. Dr. Arla is the best of the best.

I am a cancer survivor and I have been going to this place since I was little. This was the only place I went too. You would think that YOUR Doctor would know you since you have been going to them for so long. My Doctor (Dr. Arla Sr) proscribed me something that was a sister to penicillin (I am allergic and didn’t know that it was related to penicillin) . When I went to have my medicine fulfilled at my local Kroger, the pharmacist told me about the medicine that he was trying to proscribe me and didn’t recommend that I take it due to my medical charts.... I don’t want to be dramatic but what if she just saved my life? After that, I still decided to go back to them but I decided to get a new doctor at that facility. I had another appointment and I arrived and The receptionist Karen was asking who I wanted to see. I said anyone but Dr. Arla Sr. She gets upset with what I said and begins to try and talk to me about how he is the best and he saved her life. I said that is good and explained what happened. She said oh no, you must have never told them, otherwise it would be on your chart. You need to make sure you tell them these things. I said it is on my chart. I ended the conversation. And got his son which is Dr. Arla jr. he is wonderful. I called yesterday and scheduled an appointment for today at 4:30 because I was having a tightness in my chest. I call and a little a head of time and tell them I am running behind because of a wreck and the man was telling me that they stop seeing patients at 4:30. How late will I be. I tell him I’m not sure and tell him it’s a wreck. He said okay try and get here as soon as you can. I tell him okay. I arrive at 4:33, the lights are off and I start to sign in. Karen the receptionist says that they were closing and didn’t know they had any more appointments. I said I just called and spoke to a man and told him I was running a little late because of traffic. She says oh well we had you down at 3:30 and we already put you in as a no show. I said no. I had an appointment at 4:30. I got off early so I could make it. She says well what is going on. I explain I have a tightness in my chest. She said let me see if I can get anyone to stay later. A few minutes goes by and she comes back and says I can schedule you an appointment for tomorrow morning. Or you can go to the hospital. I said no just forget about it. And she gave me an attitude and said okay. I will NEVER go back there again. Dr. Arla Sr wife called me and was apologizing and she said Karen didn’t tell her that I was having chest pains and that if she knew she would have made sure someone stayed. She kept apologizing and asked if I would come back in the morning. I told her no. I will never be back. I appreciate that she called me to apologize for her employee but that isn’t her place. Karen should be apologizing. I will never, I repeat never go back to that place.

Best doctor in the WORLD and his dad is top notch. Give them the Medal of Honor for doctors whatever its called 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 Love ya from a distance ✌️Still the best doctor around. My health and mental health has greatly improved. He knows what he is doing.

This place is the most unprofessional, unorganized place Ive ever been to. My first visit, Dr. Arla didnt even greet himself to me, he basically ignored me and my client. Dr. Arla doesnt even take the time to even talk to his patient, hes in and out prescribe pills and be on our way. Dont ever go here if you can help it, they dont help nothing. All about the money.

This place is a complete joke. After arriving to my appointment and waiting forever while crying in the waiting room they finally called me back. I was in tears bc i was in so much pain. I have 3 kids at home and couldnt take care of them bc of how much pain i was in. They gave me an antibiotic for a uti and something for my nausea and sent me on my way. Thats it. NOTHING for my pain. My husband came with me bc i was in so much pain I could barely walk, they wouldnt let him come back to the room with me. Ill never go back. I arrived in tears and left in tears they didnt care at all.

Worst office staff Ive ever dealt with. Indifference, laziness, unprofessional, and down right rude. >f you ever have to deal with their records people I feel bad for you. I have 4 years of bad experiences dealing with this joke of a drs office. The doctors arent all that bad, but everything else about these offices is a punchline to my least favorite joke. If you want a pcp that actually cares about its patients, and not just the money they bring in, please go somewhere else.

Don’t do it! Let me tell you why. First, it’s like a cult. They want you to use their pharmacy.. even if you tell them another, they will send it to their own. Secondly, they are all about profit, not providing medical care. During this Covid pandemic, I tried to stay home and just get a simple refill, no.. now they want me to come in for blood work. They’re always packed, never get back in a room in a suitable amount of time and they really don’t care about the patients they care about profit.

The place is a complete joke. The only thing they’re interested in providing is useless expensive tests. Anything to get as much money from you as possible.

Dr. Arla is so sweet funny loving and very knowledgeable. I consider him a friend he genuinely cares about you. Hes the best!

Dr refuses to even refill antibiotics without an additional visit even when you don’t have insurance or a job.It is a crying shame that doctors ONLY care about the almighty $$$$$$ these days and not about patience!He gave me a lower dose of antibiotics and only for 10 days instead of for 2 weeks and 1000 mg a day which is what I desperately need because of having been in a diverticulitis flare up for 3 months before I could get the money to go last week!This is extremely sad and disconcerting.Why can’t he refill my antibiotics? They are not narcotics for crying out loud!

They r very insufficient! I was falsely diagnosed and was told I was cleared. Come to find out they didnt have the authority to clear me, wasted about 3 days and unnessary money to eventually b cleared by another doctor in another office. When I called Dr. Arla to understand what the issue was, he was arragont, didnt care nor helpful. Since then my family and I have not gone back. Would NOT RECOMMEND

I enjoy the doctors here, but I will arrive for an appointment at 12:30pm for something minor and I literally won’t be able to leave until 3:00. HOW

This place is an absolute joke, not only do they over book themselves they are rude and snobby! I had a ct scan of my brain Monday morning, called today to set up another apt for results and the woman who answered the phone couldn’t have been anymore rude, she wasn’t helpful nor informative. Definitely switching doctors!

I went in today ( Saturday) without an appt.my waiting was no different than any other Drs office! I really like everyone in the office...doesnt matter who you meet with they listen,without rushing! I would recommend Dr Arla to anyone......Hes thorough. .....love Dr Arla and his staff!

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to in my entire life. I only came here due to my insurance switching. The nurse practitioner did not listen to any of my concerns. Then, she sees nothing on an X-ray and wants me to visit again next week, for more money? Why can’t you take care of my issues today? I will never return to this office. Structure and order was crazy as well.

I have always had a great experience at this office. I feel so comfortable here that I actually drive from Lexington. Thank you Dr. Arla’s for taking care of me!

I came in for an issue that would have normally been overlooked, but due to the persistent nature of Dr . Arla he was able to finally diagnosis me with an accurate diagnosis that saved my life. And that diagnosis lead to finding two other potentially fatal diagnosises. Thank you for all you have done!

I wish there was something lower than a start! These so called drs will kill you just to bill insurance twice. I came in with extreme leg pain and since I had previous blood clots I needed to get checked. They did and ultrasound and I went back to office to see dr they told me to come back the next day! This was a scam to get more money from me and insurance because if you have a clot it needs to be addressed that day so it doesn’t break loose and kill you or have a stoke. They really should have licensed revoked!!

I never wrote a review, but felt inspired to write this one, i’m 59 years old and only had to primary care doctors the last one I had for 30 years, when I lost my private insurance I was informed that my doctor couldn’t see me anymore, I went on Government insurance, and reluctantly start looking for another doctor, I didn’t know what to expect since I’ve been with the same doctor for so long I was a little nervous and reluctant to see another doctor, Dr. Arlas Office was close to my home so I chose to make an appointment to see him, My Health wasn’t the greatest, I was diagnosed with COPD stage 2 in 2012 and was in out the hospitals with pneumonia several times in the last six years, I was taking a one a day in Haler and an emergency inhaler, my first visit with Dr. Arla, did not go so well,I wasn’t interested in seeing another doctor I just wanted my prescriptions for mine Halers refilled, i’m surprised that the office would even see me again after the first visit, I was not a good patient, but I thank God that doctor Arla did not give up on me, after a few visits I gave into Dr. Arla, and started listening to him, Because of his persistence and the time that he took to educate me about the cause-and-effect of COPD and alternative ways to help Myself, I spent six years taking inhalers at the cost of $400 a month in several hospital stays because the pneumonia and respiratory problems, because of doctor Arla I no longer take inhalers and I’m back in the gym for the first time in years, this is no less than a miracle, I have also heard other stories from his patients about things that he did for them is nothing less than amazing. I have never heard of a doctor that Takes so much time with one patient, he obviously isn’t driven by money, I know the state only pays half of what private insurance companies pays, I had never met a doctor that cares so much for a patient that he’s willing to take all the time necessary to make sure that they stay healthy, he is definitely what a Dr. should be, I can’t thank him enough. As usual doctors dont care what you tell them in regards to whats wrong with you and wouldnt even listen to my symptoms. Im on my own and hope I dont get worse with my breathing difficulties.

Parking lot is unsafe at best. No effort for ice/snow removal... ever. Staff unfriendly.

Dr. Praveen is one of my favorites, although, I must say Dr. Deepa Is a favorite as well, Let us not forget the two great Drs. who made it all happen (Mom & Dad) Thank you each and everyone...Kentucky Loves you.

I love Dr Arla, he is funny and loves to joke. He is very honest.

Great doc and always listens to me!

I was in the office on 3/20/18 with pink eye Dr. Praveen said that he would send prescription to my pharmacy but never so I have to go to a different doctor which cost me 50 dollars. So I spend total 75 dollars to see two doctors and for meds.If Dr. Praveen did his job it would have only cost 25 dollars. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT DOCTORS OFFICE AGAIN!!!

I was hit head on when a lady crossed over into my lane. I have a broken sternum and this office wouldnt take my car insurance and instead wanted to have my attorney agree to pay everything. They refused to see me. They barely speak English and have no manners at all.
