Absolutely appreciate the ENTIRE staff. From the moment I came in the door, they were friendly, professional, and I didnt have to sit and wait long. They are very thorough in their explanations of what they were doing today, and then what further steps would need to be taken. They are just a pleasant and knowledgeable group. Would very highly recommend!

Bad experience. My wife’s insurance is active, the front desk lady said she’ll call the ins company to verify. Front desk lady made my wife wait an hour and still did not call the insurance company to verify the status. Why? Lazy? Too busy? It takes 5-10mins max. Well if you are going to this place for your teeth make sure you got some good insurance and don’t expect them to call and verify your insurance. Good luck!

My first time at J-town dental. From the moment I made the appointment over the phone I knew I would love it here. The receptionist was kind and helpful. The hygienist, Lara was friendly and thorough!! And Dr Beckham made me feel like I was going to be taken care of. All around a great experience. They seem to have an awesome team! I 100% recommend!!

Dr. Beckham is great dentist that seeks to educate her patients about proper dental care as well as on the treatments suggested. She has encouraged me to develop good preventative care habits. Her staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Im committed for life!

Yes dr beckman is very rude after going somewhere else i contact her office and told them my situation and told me she would be much cheaper and come to find out she was way higher in her price. Then when i didnt her staff send a text message to my phone ans i didnt respond because i was at work she called my phone back to back i finally answer and it was her demanding me to come to my appointment after i done told them i couldnt make it and she keep on and on about coming in and then have the nerve to say well im going to charge you for the appointment. After my first visit i sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes then i didnt even see her until the end of my appointment and it was for 4. Like 5 minutes really. I would not tell anyone about that place.

I’ve been going to J-Town Comprehensive Dental Center for many years now. Dr. Beckham and the rest of the staff are always kind and professional. They treat all of their patients like family, and every visit is a great experience. Jennifer is always friendly and does great work.10/10 Highly Recommend

The past few visists have sent me looking for another provider. Its unfortunate because her staff is friendly but given Dr Beckhams insensative, abrupt, accusatory attitude toward me, I will not return. When I called to make an oppointment for a broken crown (which she put in just 5 years ago) I had to take off work early to make the only appt that would allow the 2 hours I was told is required to replace broken crowns. I waited 20 mnutes in my car, then was called into the office to wait another 10 minutes, called back for Xrays & waited further for her to arrive to evaluate my case. Nearly an hour into my appointment, with no apologies for her delayed appearance, she ordered work to be done at a later date. When questioned about the required 2 hour appointment she insisted her staff did not tell me the work would be completed in the required 2 hour visit. She did check to see if another patient could be rescheduled but that was not possible. Her news would have been much better received had she delivered it without the attitude. Im done, dont need to give my hard earned $$ over to someone to receive attitude in return. An education in people skills would benefit Dr Beckham. Yesterday my new provider requested my images from her office to complete the work and 2 hours after signing the release, her office said Dr Beckham must approve before they would release them. My experience at my new provider was extremely pleasant, a nice change.

Very happy going to Dr. Beckham. Shes very thorough and positive. I had a lot of cavities and needed 2 root canals due to the fact before I had bad insurance and used to hate the dentist. Never once did I feel judged for this, which at past dentist I had not so positive accounts. She set me up on a schedule and her and her wonderful team have helped me back to health and improved my smile. I highly recommend J-Town comprehensive to everyone.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dentist and her staff! I am having to have some extensive work done during the summer before school starts. Sherry, Jennifer, and Dr. Beckham have been so accommodating and compassionate. I recommend her to ANYONE! They have made what seemed like a hopeless situation pleasant, and quite bearable. Dr. Beckham and her staff are caring, very knowledgeable, and competent. If you are lucky, theyll also provide live entertainment! Dr. Beckham and Sherry have been known to softly sing as they work!

If I could leave a 0 or even a negative number I would!!! I should have long left this review but I tried to just move on with my life after the worst dental experience ever here!! I havent been to this office since about 2015, at which time I was referred by a family member. I went with high hopes of having a cosmetic fix (bonding) that only turned out to be a nightmare. It was done by an assistant and not the Dr., which made me uneasy to begin with. Like they say, always go with that gut feeling! I had to end up going back 4-5 times following the procedure due to the amount of mistakes made! Excessive bleeding, uneven, bonding lines, brown spots, etc... After a while I just got tired of traveling back there for them to only mask the issues instead of re-doing it! Not to mention, she filed way too much off of my real teeth and my 2 front teeth are extremely wide!! Im writing this today b/c Ive finally had the courage to allow another dentist to look into giving me options to fix this mess Im left with. Theyve pointed out all of these horrid things as well and now my options are limited and my teeth will NEVER be completely back to normal! Not to mention the cost Ill have to pay to even come close. I just want to feel confident and have my smile back. Im LIVID every time I look in the mirror or talk about it! If I could sue this place I certainly would. Please people...run away from here!!! They are nice but thats about it!!

I actually had found out about the location when I was doing work on the building. I immediately noticed how professional the office was and since my first daughter came along I was interested in trying to be better example with my oral hygiene.I had not been to a dentist in a few years and had numerous issues with my teeth due to lack of good oral habits/maintenance. I have been able to make a complete turn around in my oral health in the past year due to the help of Dr. Beckham and her team. They did a great job of identifying the issues and repairing the damages through visits that were spaced out in order to make the services more economical. Dr. Beckham really has her process down and appeared really organized.Additionally, I casually mentioned a purely cosmetic issue that had bothered me for years on my front teeth during my initial appointment and Dr. Beckham remembered and repaired it during one of my visits as a surprise to me.Thanks guys! Definitely recommend!

Ive been coming here for a few years now. Dr Beckham and her staff treat me like family. Ive always had dental phobia and many dental problems, but now its easy. Theyve addressed my issues professionally and kindly. I have a great smile now. Ill never go anywhere else ❤

It was my first going to the dentist yesterday , and i must admit this was the first time i have ever felt comfortable and not overly worried in a dentist office. The staff there was amazing they were extremely nice and informative. To me they went above and beyond by taking the time to explain to me what it is they were doing in my exam. The lady who works I believe in the insurance verification even came in once I found out what I needed to get done and took time to explain what it was that the insurance would cover and what i would have to pay out of pocket. Most companies would have left it like that but no she then begin to tell me the multiple options I had to pay. Long story short def one of the best experiences I have had in a dentist office. And as silly as this sounds im ready to go back get my cleaning and start my fillings. Def would recommend this dentist to any of my friends or family. And if your like me just googling dentist near me and this one pops up, give it a try i promise you wont be disappointed.

Is the best experience ever had pertaining to dental. it mightve been my first time but the people are great .Smiles singing all that good stuff fixing teeth. Would recommended for any age . Very comfortable atmosphere . Very knowledgeable dentistry.

I dont normally like going to the dentist or doctors of any sort really but Dr. Beckham and the staff at Jtown Comprehensive Dental are amazing. My first visit here was about a month ago and I just finished my second earlier today and both times they have been great. 5 stars isnt enough. Seriously great staff that makes you feel comfortable and does an amazing job!

I have been going to Dr. Beckham for years. The office staff is collectuvely competent and shows in investment in me, both as a long-term patient and as a person. Having been with the team so long I am comfortable in suggesting her for all ages. Awesome experience everytime I’m here.

Had to call them to send a referral to Uofl 3 times back and forth with them a Louisville because Deanna didnt want to do her job. She lied to me saying I could just call them and say which tooth hurt. For a root canal. After arguing with her three times and her denying she could send a referral, she finally said on the third call. Ok Ill write it up and send it to them. She probably isnt even doing it Ill probably have to go up there and watch her do it like a child.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences if ever been through... They didnt take the time to process my insurance to see what was covered. I was basically herded in to a room for x-rays and pre payment for services rendered. Procedure took about 15 min and was promptly herded to a window to schedule another appt for other services. At no time was another attempt made to contact my insurance. I find out days later that not only was my insurance good there, but it also paid 90% of my bill... I had to basically force them to submit a claim and once it was approved, my insurance company sent them a check. The check was mailed on December 8th from one state away and as of today (Dec 15th) they say they have not received the check. Very unhappy with this business and will see to it the rest of my corporation does not do business with this office until they can come up with a better business plan for their customers!!

I had purchased a groupon for a cleaning. They refused to see me because I had been there a few years back. It was never stated on the groupon that it was for new patients only, they even looked it up and couldnt show me. I advised that they proofread the groupon before posting it and I had to get a sitter for my 2 kids at home to make the appointment. They still refused. That is the WORST customer service. And being there before, I can say that they try to upsell you on everything. Theyre also behind the times in dental technology.
