There are some good dentists here, but the overall operation is shady. They charge ridiculous fees for transferring records (actually in violation of HIPAA, so I reported them).

This is a shady car-dealership type dentist clinic that tries to find work when there isnt any to be done. Ive been to many dentists in the Westside and this is the only place where Ive felt like Im being sold dental care like its a used car.They scan your insurance and if you have unused credit for an orthodontic treatment (mouthguard, retainer) they will pressure you into using it on the first visit. They gave me a retainer to fix the alignment of my front teeth but Ive consulted with other dentists since then and not only are retainers NOT for fixing alignment (thats what braces are for) but my front teeth are perfectly aligned.

I LOVE MR. MORADI HE IS AMAZING AND SO SWEET TO HIS PATIENTS!🥺🤎 I’ve been going to him since I was a senior in HS and he’s been a sweetheart to me every since. I will have to agree with the comment below...the front desk customer service is not the best from the woman who handles orthodontics to the man who handles the billing for regular dental services I believe his name is frank ..very rude, blunt and impatient (literally everything Bernice commented below is true). I walked in the office to get a cleaning done along with other services and when someone sent frank to speak to me he came off as he didn’t want to explain fully what procedure I needed more so was in a rush to find out if I was willing to pay for it..didn’t like the way he didn’t explain it so I refused services ....that made me leave the office feeling very uncomfortable because of him (he comes off as if he’s better than people it’s a really weird feeling). Frank is apart of regular dental services I believe he only handles the billing part if I’m not mistaken and moradi covers orthodontist ..so as far as ortho goes service and work is absolutely amazing!! I love him and I refer anybody who needs braces to go to him. Saw the comment below and thought I’d add my two cents about the amazing service with ortho and horrible customer service with regular dental service

Excellent clinic; friendly personell and nice installations

Ive been going to this practice since I was 25, Im now 66. The prices were reasonable for the most part, but you never know which dentist will actually be doing the work needed. I like & trust Dr. Korda, but her speciality is in restorations...crowns, bridges & fillings. I need an extraction. Im scared of going to any dentist, but more so if I have no idea how a stranger is going to treat me. Today in the office on Washington, Dr. Agaki opened a few years ago, I was seen by three different dentists...none of which will actually be doing the work. I went in for one extraction...one! I get in, x-rays taken & then I was told this tooth needs to come out, that tooth needs to come out, two others need crowns, a couple of fillings & cleaning. My insurance isnt the best, capping at $1500/year. Someone, I have no idea who this person was,(I later found out his name is Frank) begins telling me all sorts of things, including the need for a bone graft costing $700 that wont be covered by my insurance. It sounds like theyre prepping for a $3000 implant. ($3000 is the base price & doesnt include other fees. With those extra fees, it works out to $3500 or more for a single tooth) I was told a retainer-type appliance would be used to push a front tooth into a better position, provided I wear it for the remainder of my life, with an attached tooth to replace the molar that needs extracting, with an attached bite guard. I have severe chronic pain caused by nerve damage & noticed Ive been clenching my teeth. Undoubtedly the reason for the broken tooth. Then, another person comes in and starts talking about a partial plate, with three teeth attached. Why the differing stories? I also had no pain going in, but now I do. Its from being picked at by a heartless dentist, after Id asked him not to & stressed JUST THE ONE BROKEN TOOTH IS ALL IM INTERESTED IN HAVING DONE. Apparently, my words fell on deaf ears. Im terrified of dentists & with good reason...as evidenced by the picking at a tooth Id asked not be picked at. ALL work I have done, including cleanings, require local anesthesia & nitrous. My anxiety level skyrocketed, even though Id taken a tranquilizer before leaving my house. I asked if nitrous was still available. Why, yes it is...at a cost of $200 per 30 minutes. Insurance wont pay for that either. Why the price for gas is so high, I dont know. Maybe theyre trying to weed out those who actually need it vs those who just want to get high? Im not even sure which office Ill be going to...the one on Venice? The one on Washington? Guess Ill have to call to get some answers before my appointment on Friday morning.*Dr. Moradi, Ive been trying to reach you for three days. Dr.Moradi is amazing! He is genuinely nice and accommodates everyone! Honestly the best place to go, that being said I didn’t like the service that was provided from the front desk in particular to the guy who comes and charges you.. he has no ethic very blunt and not at all nice. However when he is in front of the dr his tone changes. That’s unacceptable. Need to hire a new personal for that position who likes their job and is ready to provide great customer service.

This office is def not a regular dental office which is a very good thing! Everyone is very nice and laid back. I came in for a dental exam and left with retainers by the orthodontist. The office is extremely accommodating in regards to payment and payment plans too. Thank you to all the front desk girls who treated me with so much respect and the orthodontist who had the biggest smile on his face. He truly cares about his patients and it shows!

Im new to the area and have been looking for a dental office close by. I was driving by and saw Dentistry & Orthodontics. I called and made an appointment. Upon walking in I was greeted by a very kind lady named Monica. I was called in quickly as they already had checked my insurance. The doctors and technicians were very kind and intelligent. I met Dr. Moradi and he was able to take care of me with retainers. I will definitely come back here! Highly recommended!

Normally I have so much anxiety going to the dentist but the professionals at this facility made my experience seamless. They were friendly and answered all of my questions. I cannot recommend this place enough. For so many years I was self conscious about my teeth, however, I was never able to pay for braces. A friend of mine recommended to come to Dr. Moradi as she knew they would take my insurance and charge very little co-pay. I am so happy to have found this place. Before it all started, my teeth were not looking too hot. One of my top teeth on the front were crooked, and I also had crooked teeth on the bottom. I wouldnt always be comfortable smiling at the camera or at people. But then, me and my parents decided to get me braces. I met the intelligent Dr. Moradi, and the friendly staff of the orthodontist department. Dr. Moradi assured me that by the time I finished my treatment, I would love my teeth, and he was right. It was definitely not a smooth process from start to finish. It was painful at first, but it definitely got better through the two years of treatment. Today I got my braces off, and am more impressed with my teeth than I thought I would be. I am grateful for my parents allowing me to have this opportunity to have a great smile, and also for Dr. Moradi and his team to give their best work on my teeth. Braces are worth it in the end! Come to Dr. Moradi if you want the best treatment ever!

If your looking for a brand new dental office come here. I was in the in-n-out line and noticed their signage and decided to walk in. I got a free laser tooth whitening and a checkup and cleaning. They were very very professional. Definitely ask for Frank when you visit this office, he will take care of you. The staff were all really happy and I felt at home.

Here is the situation;I went for cleaning. They told me that it is normal to feel some pain a day after cleaning. It’s been a week and right side of my face is swollen. I can’t eat anything now and it’s weekend. It was just a cleaning. Not recommending this place at all.

I would avoid at all costs. Im not one to write a review about a dentist, because lets be honest nobody really likes the dentist, but these guys are a straight up used car dealership. Ive gone in there twice, once for a cleaning and another for some emergency work. The entire visit both times seemed to be more about how much they could charge me and less about my actual dental health. Half of the people that work there never seem to know whats going on. Not a great experience whatsoever, pass.

Horrible place!! Extremely shady and unprofessional. I went in for my routine check up and was charged for treatments covered by my insurance. I called the office to try to get this issue resolved several times and they never followed up with me or my insurance. They always gave me the run around and never submitted any documents my insurance was requesting.I showed up to the office with documents from my insurance stating it was a covered expense and the head doctor, Dr. Agaki, and Frank laughed at my situation and refused to refund my money. According to Frank, Dr. Agaki said that I had already paid so he wasn’t going to refund my money regardless of it being a covered expense through my insurance.Don’t go here because they will make things up to charge you. Not worth the headache.

They got my treatment paid for but still were charging more money. I had to transfer. Great doctor but too shady for me .

I had a visit today for my right side two tooth filling and deep cleaning. I was told by the main doctor that my insurance will cover for everything, but after they num my jaws and do the deep cleaning, i was told that my insurance cant cover for the filling. This is not fare and unacceptable, they convince you untill they get their money and dont care about you after all.

Heres my experience, you decide. I went in for a cleaning. After the cleaning I ask about my front tooth, which was out of alignment. The dentist evaluated and said yes, this can be fixed. Next he sent in a sales manager. I asked how much out of pocket, he said $100, because I had insurance. And he said you dont have to pay until next month. So I said go ahead. The dental technician glued mounts on my teeth and then put on a wire to put tension on the teeth.I then went to the front desk check out and they said they needed a Visa card because it would cost $100/month for 18 months. I should have questioned this but...After I got home, the wire ends began to lacerate the inside my cheeks. I went back to the dentist on Monday and asked that the brace be removed. They kept trying to convince me to keep them, but finally agreed to remove for $500. So I had to hand over my credit card.

I went to this office because I was having an issue with my retainer from another dentist and they said my retainer was unfixable and that I needed braces again. Had the worst visit today! The assistant with tattoos was very rude to me never felt so disrespected! Plus when i asked her a question about what i was getting done she didnt even know and when she did i asked her well how is it gunna work then she said idk. Like what you mean you dont know??
