My kid get her teeth fixed there. She has a difficult problem, but Dr. Van Allen came up a plan we like without more invasive procedures. Located at the busy intersection between Wilshire and Westwood Blvd, it is conveniently located. Parking is expensive at the bottom the the building, if you don’t mind a little walking, park in the Westwood park and walk for 5 minutes.

I had successful orthodontic procedure done by Dr, Nuckles a couple of years ago and am extremely happy with the personal attention I received and the results. Went to the offie yesterday for a concern I had and Dr. Van Allen saw me right away without an appointment and answered my questions. Good results and friendly staff. If you need an orthodontist, Dr. Nuckles is a great choice.

I love this office and everyone in it. Im a middle aged, professional man. I was notlooking forward to this experience when I started this process. However, Dr Nucklesand her staff have been beyond accommodating and the results are incredible.I have already referred two other professionals who were interested in a better smile...andtheir experience matches mine.I dont think I would have been able to see this process through were it not for the supportand the understanding I have received from Dr Nuckles and her staff. They are the nicest,most helpful people ever and I am glad my dentist referred me to them. You wont be disappointed.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Dr. Nuckles and her entire practice. From the moment we walked in, to a printed sign greeting my son by name, it was a completely different experience than other orthodontists. My son had been crying and afraid at another practice, and when we left here he actually said, unprompted, I love Dr. Nuckles! after just meeting her. She is experienced, knowledgeable, well connected with dentists and oral surgeons on the West Side, and radiates positive energy and kindness.

This is a great group of people. Everyone from the front office to the back is friendly and good at what they do. Achieving a great smile requires a bit of hard work and perseverance but Dr. Nuckles and her staff will help you get there. It is important to find an orthodontist that not only has an aesthetic of what a good smile should look like but has the flexibility to work around your life as it changes. You will be in a longterm relationship with her and her staff and that is a good thing. I am just finishing my Invisalign treatment after almost 3 years and it was painless. I look forward to seeing her again when my kids are old enough.

Lovely people, great care, great dedication Dr. Nuckles is a marvel. Couldnt be more happy with my decision to get Invisilign. Im not a young kid but wanted to correct my crooked bottom teeth and now that I am into the process, Im so glad I plunged into it. Feel completely comfortable and confident with Dr. Nuckles team.

I am in the process of invisalign treatments with Dr. Nuckles. Before I began I had a consult with another orthodontist to compare. Dr. Nuckless equipment and procedure plans consist of the most amazing, up to date technology. I highly recommend coming to her. And she is always so cheerful and nice.

Beware of the billing practices!The service of Dr. Nuckles is adequate and the staff of her orthodontics office seemed friendly. However, I found their billing practices to be questionable. My insurance policy covered 50% of the quoted price and I paid the other 50% upon my first visit to the office. Weeks later when I received the insurance letter with the explanation of the charges, I discovered that the staff at Dr. Nuckles’ office had quoted to me a higher price for the procedure than it submitted to the insurance company. Consequently, the amount I had paid directly to Dr. Nuckles office was more than 50% of the total cost of the procedure that was quoted to the insurance company. I called the office and hoped to have the matter of my overpayment settled in a few minutes, as it was a small amount. Kathy, the billing assistant, came up with a story that she had submitted the lesser amount to the insurance company by mistake. She was rather rude as she insisted that they had lost proper reimbursement from the insurance company and told me that there was no way they would refund the difference to me. I tried to talk to Dr. Nuckles, thinking that she was not familiar with what had happened. However, I was not able to talk to her, as neither was she available when I called, nor did she return my call. I came to the conclusion that Dr. Nuckles, by not returning my call, was indicating that she approved of her staff’s action. It is my experience, that when a business makes a mistake, they apologize to their customer and rectify their mistake. This was not the case here.I discussed this with my dentist, who recommended Dr. Nuckles to me, and my dentist supported my view.Therefore, neither my dentist, nor I would recommend Dr. Nuckles to new patients. There are many other orthodontists on the Westside who would not only treat their patients well, but would also listen to them and correct any mistakes their staff had made.
