Dr King has performed two surgeries on me, the first five years ago, was a laminectomy on three vertebrae. I had lost partial function of my right leg and have returned to walking, running, participating in mud runs and pretty much whatever else I choose to painlessly. The second surgery was a craniotomy of my right frontal temporal lobe recently to remove a 4.5cm brain tumor. The procedure went smoothly and I am on the road to recovery. I would not have trusted anyone else to perform this surgery on me other than Dr King.He is a brilliant neurosurgeon who helped me feel cared for and safe. He also has a wonderful bedside manner which helped me to remain calm and grounded during this process.Thank you Dr King!

Dr. King is an AMAZING doctor! I cant say enough good things about him.He is very knowledgeable, has a great personality and is so calming, and he really cares about his patients. He is the best doctor I have ever had and I know I will never be able to find another doctor that can ever compare to Dr. King.

I totally agree, Dr. King is both an amazing Surgeon, as well as a down-to-Earth type Gentleman who will both listen to and explain the situation to a pateint fully - not always the standard operation. Truly great.

Dr. King is a phenomenal neurosurgeon! I am a Registered Nurse who has come in contact with so many Doctors professionally, and when I became the mother of an ill child, I came in contact with far too many Doctors, searching for answers. However, when we walked into Dr. Kings office, the search was over, and for the first time in five years, we had answers. By the time we had found Dr. King, my son was done seeing Doctors. He had lost hope that anyone could help him. He had heard so many things from so many Doctors that he truly believed that there was little that could be done for him. Then something amazing happened! My sons neurologist referred us to Dr. King, saying that Dr. King was without a doubt the best expert in brain and spinal chord issues, and she couldnt have been more correct. Saying he is amazing does not nearly depict his level of excellence. When we first visited Dr. King, we were so impressed that he had already reviewed years worth of neurological assessments, exams, imaging and the deluge of information gathered over the years. This was refreshing to say the least. Then, he sat with my son for over an hour and truly listened to what was going on with him. (My son said that it was the first time that he felt that he was being heard, and felt cared about). He then did a thorough neurological exam, much more extensive than he had experienced with other doctors. He knew right away what was wrong with my son. In addition, my son had many questions, and Dr. King pulled up his imaging and showed him where his problems were. He also acknowledged that his diagnosis was a lot to take in, so he encouraged him to take his time and think everything over, and he told him to call him or come in anytime that he has any questions or needs to talk. **By the way, one very important thing to mention is that my sons symptoms were very vague and did not necessarily fit what is typically seen with his problem, yet Dr. King said that his condition does indeed have these symptoms, something that other neurologists/neurosurgeons did not recognize as symptoms. My sons diagnosis is: Chiari Malformation and a tethered spinal chord, caused by a previously undiagnosed, Spinal Bifida Occulta. My son decided to move forward with the surgery to release his spinal chord and Dr. King and his amazing staff squeezed him in for the following week, since he had been struggling for so long. He is now 3 months post-op and doing great. For the first time in years, he is able to participate in life again, and his hope for a normal future (pain free) has been restored.
