If I can rate a zero for Dr. Eric M Williamson I would. This man completely discredited my sister from getting a referral to her hospital when she has MS and is having a flareup he told her what she is feeling isn’t valid because she is on ocrevus and her charts are not bad. When it comes to this disease just because she’s on a treatment and her chart say one thing does not mean that she can feel completely different the next day he will not give her a referral to go to the hospital and was annoyed with her that she was crying on the phone to him About her symptoms and explaining how she needs to get this referral-he hung up on her. If my sister has an attack and her symptoms escalates- it is on this man for not helping her under his care.Although this is not my personal experience this is what happened to my sister. I was mind boggled to the fact that an accredited Dr. can be so careless with this disease.

This review likely means nothing so I will not go on. Not having a covid shot was more importent than trying to figure out why I had double vision. Dr. SHAFFNER should be retired. He said it was my fault that i was no explaining myself clear enough for him to figure out what the problem was. Spent more time chastising me for not having the shot. SHAMEFUL professional. If you would call him that.

I was a patient down at UCLA for about nine years. Only left because I had to change insurances. I had every test done and a few brain surgeries there as well. I enjoyed every staff member there that helped me along the way.

After waiting on hold for an hour on the phone - ANDREA from UCLA Neurologist Department at Westwood clinic was very rude and unprofessional. ANDREA was NOT very helpful and inconsiderate she needs to go back to training for better customer service. She even hang up the phone while I was asking for more information. I hope and pray that her supervisor or anyone from UCLA management reads my complaint so that they can improve the quality of service and how they treat patients at UCLA Neurologist department

The department is understaffed. I had to hold on the phone for 30 minutes and the call dropped. This happened twice. When checking out after a visit the line to rebook lasted 30 minutes. I see a doctor in a clinic, so the doctor I see gets supervised by another doctor. Two of the doctors who saw me were neglectful in their knowledge. Two doctors were pushing the latest medication, but the medication would had been severely harmful to me due to their lack of knowledge. I had to protest and call them out on their knowledge. I resisted for several months on this new medication, and they finally caved in and gave me another medication and it is working perfectly.

4 hours on hold, impossible to get in contact with. The doctors, especially Dr. Marie Kim, has not read her messages in two weeks, has terrible bed side manner, undermined me, did not help with my concerns, and did not show urgency, I had to get my results read by my pcp because he got back to me before she did, and she scheduled months out to read a brain mri.Very disappointed and can’t believe the way I have been treated and still have not been contacted in weeks of my questions or concerns.
