Dr.James, Mckenzie & Edward are a fierce & incredible team that truly care about your healing, recovery & well-being.Dr. James is extremely thorough in his intake questions and really wants to understand the root cause of your issues. If you can handle his wild sense of humor (you have been warned ;), Dr James is an expert in his field, quite brilliant, full of compassion and will help you in every way he can on your healing journey. Also, Dr. James takes the time to explain and go over your MRI with you, and the initial & follow up appt are included in the initial appt cost, which is nearly unheard of, especially in LA!Mckenzie and Edward, his assistants, are amazing! Mckenzie is an earth angel. She is very knowledgeable, takes the time to explain everything to you throughly and is extremely warm, sweet & nurturing. They make the experience quite lovely.Before I found Dr.James, I had seen many chiropractors with no real improvement and sometimes even went backwards. I had 2 herniated discs from working many years as a home health OT/driving a lot, was in level 10 pain all the time for about 2 years, unable to sit, bend/lift/twist, drive, sleep, work, go to school, do daily tasks etc and it was greatly limiting my ability to participate in life. I also have late stage chronic neurological lyme and Dr. James gave me great resources on how to deeper heal from lyme. After weekly decompression therapy on the table, laser, soft wave, exercises and adjustments w/Dr. James, my pain is nearly gone, the discs have been pulled back in, the nerve damage in my feet is significantly better, from having soft wave therapy and I am able to participate in my life again! I had a great experience with Dr Jeffery James. When I first arrived, I was not only in a lot of pain but I also had high anxiety. But the calm vibe of the office, the music, the welcoming smiles, and the consistent treatment plan brought me more and more relief after each visit. Between the adjustments, physical therapy, decompressions, and laser therapy - I bounced back in no time. Dr. Jeffrey James reevaluated me every few weeks and adjusted my treatment plan accordingly. Dr. James is the best. He truly cares about his patients and will do whatever it takes to understand you as an individual and make sure you heal. His treatments work and his extensive knowledge and understanding of the spine is unlike anyone else. I have been dealing with a back injury for the past year and have seen great improvement since working with Dr. James. He has been the only doctor I have trusted throughout this process and I have been to many. Do not waste your time and money seeing anyone else.

Dr. James and his staff are very thorough and make the process of understanding what is really wrong with you and what options you have other than surgery. I like the unique style of watching a video to really explain what is happening in your spine or your neck and how decompression can help it. McKenzie his PT aide who is also a personal trainer is very compassionate and sensitive to each patient’s needs. They make you very comfortable for your decompression sessions and for your cervical and spinal needs. I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey James and integrated physicians as an alternative before you decide to go in and have fusion or low back surgery. I noticed immediate results within the first five visits. It’s all quite scientific if you think about it.

Dr. James and his staff at Integrated Physicians are excellent! I initially heard Dr. James being interviewed on the radio and was impressed with what he had to say. I decided to give his office a call and am very pleased that I did. I only wish I had called sooner. I am currently half-way through a series of treatments to address rotator cuff issues and am very pleased with the positive results. Dr. James is very intuitive and knowledgeable; he quickly honed in on cervical spine involvement relative to my shoulder issue. Ive been to chiropractors in the past who were pushy -- trying to sell me expensive supplements and additional services of marginal value -- but that is not the case with this office. The adjunct staff is caring and professional, too. I highly recommend you give his office a try!

Jeff James knowledge of the body, the brain and the kinetic result of those combined energies is second to none. Finally. That’s what I thought during my first visit with Dr. James. Finally, someone who actually knows what they are doing.After numerous visits to another chiropractor, with basically no relief, I decided to check out Dr. James based on a referral from my friend. He was extremely thorough with the initial exam, performing tests and asking questions that my previous chiropractor never did. I actually found it all very fascinating.I appreciate that he didn’t jump straight to adjusting me without a full scope of what was going on with my back. And when he did an adjustment, I wasn’t really expecting to feel any relief but by the end of the day, I definitely felt a difference. Finding Dr Jeff James was an unexpected gift. I have 3 bulging discs and after many years of chiropractic care, physical therapy, still a twisted spine and not much change , I thought it was as good as it gets. But Dr James can identify the core issues with his approach to your neurology, whats working and whats not. With A great combination of skills , he puts the tools together to work and really treat and help your body heal . A very intuitive, kind and pragmatic healer. Within a month my over reacting and bulging muscles were moving back to normal and my back was reorganizing to work properly . And this is a condition Ive lived with for over 30 years to some degree . Its rare to find this kind physician with the combination and experience of many skills who can combine the modalities to actually treat the condition and not just the symptoms . Having spent 25 years in pain, I was skeptical when a friend recommended yet another person who might be able to diagnose the problem with my back. From the first conversation with Paul, who made the appointment for me, to todays encounter with Chris, who greeted me so cordially, and then the big man himself, I am feeling some degree of confidence that Im on the right track. Dr. James is great - altogether professional but with a wicked sense of humor. I have seen Dr James on numerous occasions for a number issues for a long time. I am a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, weight train and love to scuba dive. So you can imagine how I have tweaked myself over the years. He has helped maintain me to be fully functional at a high level in all my activities. And at 51 that is no small feat. He is a true healer. Dr James is light years ahead of the run of the mill “chiropractor”. He solves the unsolvable.

I have had serious debilitating back problems for over 30 years. I could expect my back to fail once every 14 months that would put me down for a week. In 2008, I saw Dr. James for comprehensive spinal decompression treatment. For the last seven years, I have been pain free without my back going out once. I was suffering with back pain and a couple other issues which seemed to have no end in sight. I was extremely frustrated and havent felt like myself for a long time. The uncomfortable pain was definitely effecting my relationships with those around me. I had sought the care of just about every health care provider I could think of with no lasting results. Surgery was supposedly going to be my final option and certainly not one that I was looking forward to. Fortunately, a friend in Los Angeles told me about the different strategies being implemented by the friendly, professional and, most important to me, extremely educated team at Integrated Physicians Medical Group. With my situation in LA, this was going to be a significant commitment on my part but I made the decision to do what I had to do to try and prevent having to get surgery and regain my health. I made an appointment and after a thorough evaluation, unlike any I have undergone before, IPMG determined that I was a candidate for about a two to three month treatment program comprised of multiple treatment sessions per week. This was actually the first time I really made a commitment to do something good for myself. I had to be patient though because It wasnt until the latter part of my treatment plan that I really started to notice changes for the better, and now, for the most part am pain free. The surgery plan is currently canceled and I hope to never need to reschedule it! Dear reader, I dont even know where to begin saying what an incredible experienced I have had, and continue having over at Dr Jeffrey Jamess office. When I re-injured my back with severity this Summer I was out. I literally laid on my back for 100 plus days, without being able to drive, walk, or stand much. The pain was not only debilitating my body at the time, but also my mind. I already had surgery, and here two years later, I was injured again! I thought the surgery was a huge success. And it supposedly was for 2 yrs. And then this. I originally had a 9 mm herniated, raptured disc between L5S1. Surgery temporarily fixed it. Then I injured it again and the same disc herniated 6mm! I was in shock, and disbelief. I started my journey in search of a doctor that could possibly perform a miracle. Someone that would tell me everything will be OK. And I can heal this without surgery. Obviously surgery didnt work. It took me over 7 weeks of searching and spending thousands of dollars I didnt really had, and energy I def didnt had. I also had to kept needing to ask friends to drive me places... And then it happened. I walked into the office of Doc James. Of course when I walked into his office I was reluctant, with already all hope lost, and very skeptical. I had already given up, and was about to contact my surgeon. Doc James didnt once told me he WILL fix me. He said, lets try. I have seen worse, and each case is different. It was hard to trust that it will work when I didnt get the promise I was hoping for. At the same time I was intrigued by his honestly. He had a warm and optimistic energy, and I immediately felt at ease with him. Like what do I have to loose anyway I thought to myself? He spent a lot of time with me on our fist visit. He didnt rush anything. He was extremely thorough. Examined my muscles, nerves, coordination and asked plenty of important questions. I could feel he is extremely knowledgeable and confident in his approach, and hes been around for a while. He sat me down, and told me what he feels would be the best approach. And if I would be willing to work with him. To come in each day, even twice a day for a while. And he asked for me to do my part, working with an anti-inflammatory diet, supplements, ice, and things to do and things not to do. I sat and listened and decided in that moment that I am just going to say Yes to all. I am worth the investment, and yes, it is expensive. And its my body. And I need to heal myself. I saw this exchange in monetary terms as an investment in myself. I came in day after day after day. It took, I have to admit, probably over two weeks of seeing any change in my pain level. I would get home and cry hopelessly with a feeling that I might be wasting my time and energy and money. Yet I kept coming back. Why? I developed a trust in Doc James. Because of his honesty and his willingness to help me get better, no matter what and how long it might take. He was determined. We experimented with different positions on the decompression machine, levels of intensity, and he kept needing to switch things around as. He was attentive, and generous with his time. And then there it was. The impossible started to became possible.. I could walk straighter, more upright. Im limping less. I can actually fall asleep as Im in less pain. I went from constant pain, to 20%-.. 30% less.and so on. The amount of time he has spent, the amount of hours I had been to his office, an the friendship I have built with his incredible staff, is all just such a blessing. No money can be the exchange of what I have received. He saved me from surgery. He made the impossible possible. I came from a dark hole, and Im now a new person. He is a yogi, a business man, and an excellent doctor. If you are feeling hopeless or despair, stop it already. Give Dr James a call. Invest in your health. Im living proof it is worth it all in the end. I am now down to a 2 mm herniated disc in just a few months, and am able to do most exercises and have returned to working and functioning in full like I used to.
