Do not go here. They are very ableist, unkind and abusive. I did an intake, filled out ROI and then never heard back from them. I kept my insurance solely for them and paid over $600. I called several times toInquire what happened and never heard back. When I finally got Dee on the phone she said the program director said they couldn’t meet my level of care. I asked what that meant and she hung up on me. My therapist who spoke with them said it’s because I needed help with stairs, which I absolutely do not. It is abusive to do an in-depth intake with someone looking for help, then ghost them and then hang up on them. I’m still seeking an explanation

Make sure you ask them which facility they are sending urine samples too. I didn’t even know they were doing urine samples (?) and I got a $500 bill that my insurance refused to pay because it was out of network, even though Resilience is IN network. SO shady and unfair!

The staff at Resilience are very nice. I was there for 30 days. I was treated with respect. On the other hand, The psychiatrist that runs the program is absolutely horrible. He sees you once a week and it is usually between 9:30pm and 11PM. You are lucky if he spends 10 minutes with you. He only cares about money. I am a Kaiser Patient and he told me that he will never take another Kaiser Patient again because there is no money in it for him. When it comes to him prescribing medication, I was never given the right dosages. He communicates to the nurses that dispense the medication completely wrong information. My condition 100% worsened because of this Con Man. If you care about yourself or loved one stay away from this place. Again it is not the Staff, but THE PSYCHIATRIST.

I had been searching for a place like Resilience that focused on Mental Illness for most of my life. I had been to three other programs before and Resilience makes them look like pre-schools. You have to be willing to work as they provide amazing tools right from the beginning. I will tell you right now that the people who did the work and took it seriously got results. I worked very hard and was vulnerable from the beginning and got results. Resilience and my therapy team were the first to finally give me the correct mental illness diagnosis and that changed my life. Prior to Resilience I had been misdiagnosed seven times over a period of 30 years. The team is highly professional and I would give them a higher score than five if I could. My recommendation to anyone in this search is to understand you have to question your therapists and treatment programs to make sure they are working for you. If Resilience is not the place for you my hope for anyone is to find help in a program that works for them. No program or therapist is the same and you have a lot of options in Los Angeles. Resilience was the best for me and I am beyond appreciative.

Whatever you do, do not go to their Residential Treatment program. The program material itself is so basic and repeated while you’re there, the staff are mostly interns with only two certified and one of them physically harassed me. They keep you there with all of their willpower and will call the PET team no matter if you are stable to try and keep you there. There are so many other options where you’ll actually get better.

Having worked in the fields of addiction and mental health treatment for over 25 years, I have experienced the best, the worst and everything in between. During the past year we have sent 3 dual-diagnosis treatment clients to Resilience Treatment Center and the results have been astounding! Im not easily impressed by recovery programs these days, but this one really employs a level of expertise and vision that few can match...good job guys!

Lenin is great. I had an 80 min therapeutic massage with him and he took a lot of care in getting out tense stress spots and was very professional.

Going here was a horrible experience. They do not care about your well being. I was suddenly dropped for not having a doctors note after being sick with the flu that everyone caught after New Years. This was after learning I had a fatal and disfiguring disease (diffuse scleroderma). I went to John Hopkins with my family for treatment- I let Resilience know in advance- and the director, Krystal did not believe my mother when she told her saying she would examine a doctors note from there as proof. They dropped me without titration and the severe depression came back full force. I had a job planned and School. Resilience was a traumatic institution for me in many ways. I hope you pick a professional place where the therapists and faculty are invested in your overall well being. Best of luck.
