Very unfriendly staff, I had my Dr. request on my phone and they said I needed the printed request page. They then told me to go look for a fedex office which they know is nowhere near this location. When I asked politely if I could email them the request so they could print it, they proceeded to tell me they didnt have email. So, in essence, their state-of -the-art office is living and working in an age of technology, but they have no email, gosh, they must be using carrier pigeon - why lie? Just be honest and tell the customers that you dont want to help them out. To my mind, they need a taste of humble pie, or perhaps to go on that Grand Humble Pie tour where one learns some humility and empathy.

I wish there was an option for negative stars. I came in for a fasting blood test. Online it said walk ins had an estimated 12 min wait. There were no appointments for over a week. I got there and they told me the wait was an hour and that I had to wait in my car. I waited in my car in the sun for an hour and 40 min, checking in regularly, and was never helped. After two hours I left. After 3 hours they called to tell me it was my turn and asked if I was still waiting in the parking lot. Really? You leave people waiting for 3 hours in the parking lot?

The lady in the front desk with short black hair and glasses has the worst attitude ever. I believe if you work in the front desk you should have a positive attitude especially with your clients. It’s also 9AM. It’s infuriating having to come here often and being treated with little to no respect. Do better Quest and teach your employees how to treat your customers.

Before coming here I read reviews to decide which location to come to the reviews are not the best for all the obvious reasons. But my visit to the Culver location was great, my practitioner was very skilled and knowledgeable, and the team of women handling this location are giving their all to make it run as smoothly as possible. just wanted to even the score here, it does not look like an easy place to work, and they did a great job.

Ive been to this location few times and have always had a positive experience. Today, I have to say though was exceptional!! A lady named Destiny drew my blood. If I was asleep, I wouldnt have even known my blood was being drawn. Thats how smooth she was. I have no marks, no swell, nothing! Like it never happened. I am amazed at how good she was. Management should be proud to have such competent staff. Even the greeter outside was so kind. Thank you and god bless for taking care of me.

Two nurses tried to draw my blood today and spite of hurting me they couldnt do it. They blamed my veins that were gushing blood out once that they pulled the needles. They were commenting that the blood comes out when we dont need it. They called a third more experienced nurse who refused to do the work saying that they have a policy that allows them to try only twice. They sent me back home and refused to give me my paperwork back saying that I was already in the system. When I called the main office they couldnt find me in the system so I am now back to cero having to call my doctor to write another order. Worst place ever. Go to another location.

I felt that I should review this location since it seems like only unhappy patrons are taking the time to do so. I visited this location earlier this month and had a great experience overall. I have had routine blood draws for several decades and felt the services rendered at this site were the same as at any other place Ive been. The staff were professional and courteous and the women who drew my blood was skilled and friendly. I left off one star just because the system was a bit confusing initially as their COVID procedures werent explained terribly well (I checked in on my phone as directed and got a text saying they were ready for me, but then I couldnt come in without a temperature check, which I hadnt been told, so I still had to wait outside unexpectedly for a brief time), but at least they are taking all these precautions. I would definitely come to this location again.

I have had bad experiences at Quest Diagnostics before but this location takes the cake. From the lack of professionalism, to the lack of respect for the patient care I truly hope someone in charge looks into this place before they get sued. I use to only go to LabCorp however, my new insurance unfortunately has a contact with Quest.I have had my blood drawn almost monthly for the past 5 years. I’ve had blood work done in 5 different states, as well as internationally, and to top it all off I’ve been me my whole life so I would like to think I know my own body a little better than a stranger just reading my name from a paper. I’ve constantly been told I have really small veins. I’ve been to hospitals where literally they had to get a pediatric nurse to come assist in finding my veins. The first time I went in for blood work I requested a butterfly as I’ve had previous bad experiences, my medical history, and my doctor has advised me to request butterflies. The lab technician began arguing with me about not using them as it’s inconvenient and does not get the job done properly. (Mind you I’ve had blood work done once a month for 5 years. So let’s says roughly 60 times I’ve had my blood taken with a butterfly and never had any “doesn’t work properly” issues). The tech forced and used the regular needle regardless of my voicing my concerns. For the following 3 weeks, my arm was bruised, I couldn’t bend it or extend fully without being in excruciating pain. Lifting my groceries was a problem. Next time I went it I explained the same thing to the next person and she pretty much told me I was stupid, my veins were not small at all, and only someone who doesn’t know what they are doing hurts the patient. (Once again... mind you it was HER COWORKER who almost chopped my arm off, why would I assume she’s any better if the location employs incompetent people at all?). She used what she wanted as well with total disregard to anything I said only continuing to try to prove her point, and surprise surprise I can’t bend my arm. The area is bruising as I’m sitting here. I’ve never been in this much pain in my life, not even when I’ve needed a full IV.The way they become so argumentative and defensive over a patient who knows their own medical history and is requesting what works for their body is beyond me. They are extremely disrespectful, speak down to you as if you are uneducated, and that is if they even acknowledge what you say in the first place. In my opinion, it is my legal right to not have anyone force anything in my body that I am not okay with or agree to. At the end of the day it’s my body, I have to go home and live in pain after, why would I want that when for most people who require blood work means they probably already have something else going on or that they are dealing with. I think they ALL need to be retrained in customer service and listening to the patient, then come up with a solution together. Not force something on someone all the while hurting them, and screaming that you know better than their own doctor. This place is not worth the headache. Extremely disappointing and hurtful. If you have small veins, please don’t do it. I’m sure you can find somewhere else that is skilled enough to get the job done without destroying your veins.

I wasn’t seen until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I came in 10 minutes before my my actual appointment time to make sure I could do whatever paperwork, etc., they needed me to fill out (there was none because I pre-registered) and promptly checked in. My name appeared on the television screen in the waiting room and said the wait time was 4 minutes. My name soon disappeared from the screen and I inquired when I would be seen. The women at the front desk brushed me off and said I would be seen “soon”. Multiple walk-ins were seen before I was and thus I conclude that having an appointment doesn’t give you an advantage if walk-ins get there before you.

They are horribly incompetent at this facility! I mean the place is clean...they are following COVID guidelines, but they are very unorganized. Each time that I have gone to take a test, they can NEVER find the order faxed in! It has happened to me 3 times!!! And...when I took my mom yesterday, the SAME thing happened, couldn’t find the fax! I called the doctors office on the spot, and the nurse said that she had confirmation that the order went through. (Same when they couldn’t find the order for me). I had her to fax AGAIN while I was there. Two other people in the waiting room said that they told them the same thing!!! The current ladies who work in this facility need more training. Finally just drove there in frustration. Let the person in charge know that with the automated directory there was no way to schedule at their location? Now two weeks latter the test results were not sent to either of my doctors whos names I was asked to provided. Again I have no way to get through to any one Via phone (again circle-er automation that never gets you to the right location or a person ) to find out what the results areor how to get them sent to my doctors???I guess I will again need to drive to your Centinela location wait in line to get this done.

I have an advantage because I have specialized knowledge: I am a medical doctor with a Quest account through my clinic. I brought my wife there to do labs. I scheduled an appointment on line (forget the telephone as this is a problem at all the Quest Centers). I generated the lab slip using the electronic health record program, Office Ally 24/7. Entering the proper ICD10 diagnosis codes is important for insurance compensation; when in doubt the doctor should include as many as possible. A current insurance card is important even if the information is on the lab slip. Our experience: the staff was pleasant, prompt and competent. (My wife is very difficult to draw blood from.) I believe that if you come prepared and the doctor includes the correct ICD10 codes most of the above problems disappear.

Hands down the worst phlebotomists anywhere. Insist on using large needles (UCLA uses small ones as the default; not even an option at Quest), use inside veins more prone to bruising, and have terrible, rough technique. Mind you shes in her 70s and is not tech savvy, she was the 2nd person and had to get help from other patients to sign in, when she noticed other patients getting called in that got there after her she went to ask and all they said on both occasions was Go sign in over there when she told them that she did they told her go sign in again if she wanted to be called in, they DO NOT have the ethic needed to work with people or patients, no empathy whatsoever, my mom requested a transfer of laboratory to get her labs done, matter of fact I wouldnt even give them a star. They need to take a class to teach them empathy, and basic customer/patient service, not all patients know how to work electronics even more the elderly.

My purpose for this visit was only for a simple blood and urine sample for an annual checkup. So mine was not a big deal but the fact that you have to wait hours and hours to get services which by the way the actual service only takes 7 minutes, is one thing but everyone being treated like a bunch of sheeps is another. No customer service AT ALL. No one to call, no one at the front desk and the staff try to avoid the front desk as hard as they can. At the end, 2 hours later, I had to raise my voice, to get my blood drawn and get out of there! I did have an appointment. They have a screen on the wall with everyones name and the countdown of how long the wait is, however; my 4 minutes ended up 1 hour!My heart goes out to people who actually have health issues and have to put up with this! The fact that the star review on Google is so low and they dont address it, shows exactly how they operate. I havent been to any of their other locations but I wouldnt be surprised if this is the culture of this company and their staff!

I went to this Quest location for blood test ordered by my GP for my regular yearly check up. The lab tech lady, located in the first station, was very confused about what tests need to be done even though she had the order. I suggested she call my GP to clear her confusion, but she didnt. She then proceeded to hand-enter all kinds of codes into the system and has taken 4 vials of blood from me. In the end, the ONLY test she managed to do was a thyroid test and all other tests ordered were NOT done. Now I have to go back again to start all over and my GP was really mad having wasted his and my time by showing up for my check up without the results of the blood tests. I will try to avoid the said technician in the future as obviously she needs more training. rest of the staff was nice.

Second time which is today one of the nurses from my doctor forgot to write my name on the authorization slip. Took 30 minutes to resolve even when I tried to explain I have been there before. Made no sense she could of verified with Birthdate and phone number which was written with my photo ID. Maybe because I am not Hispanic that she did not like me. Even with a fax authorization she still would not accept me in it was not until 20 minutes later that a lady told her birthday, and phone number is acceptable even if my name is cut from the new fax authorization which was faxed to her. I did my best to be civilized because this was the same lady that took my blood. The only good thing about this place is unlike the Inglewood facility which is equally or more incompetent has free parking. I do not know if it was because of me but they put closed signs on checkin kiosks after I left and came in.I guess I got lucky that my doctor decided to answer there phones this week.
