Betty was amazing!Great deep tissue massage!Highly recommend the 90 min.The only reason 4 not 5 stars is that when I was paying and was going to add a $21 tip, the guy at the desk said she usually gets $25. Thought that to be very unprofessional to put me on the spot. $21 was already 26.5%.

Its great to be back at this massage parlor! Last weekend, I took advantage of their services. The massage therapist was qualified. She had been well prepared for this type of job. Quite soothing and rewarding operation!

Went in randomly on a Sunday night. What was nice was they fit me in last minute but everything else was terrible. Walked in and they hurried me to the table. Within the first minute of being on the table my therapist is putting ALL her pressure on my backside. Starting with the calves and working her way up. It was manageable for another minute until 60 seconds later she was full blown WALKING on my legs. I had to stop her when she tried to WALK on my spine. I understand we’re not paying much but don’t you people know how the body works?! You can’t just put all your pressure on an ice cold body. Warm me up first sis!! My back nearly went into spasm. I also asked her to pay close attention to my feet and traps. She hardly did. Definitely not going back and I would not recommend this place. Save your money and yourself!!

From setting up an appointment to the actual in person experience has been amazing. The front desk receptionist/owner walked me through the process and set me up with someone to fit my massage needs.The place is very clean and tidy, the masseuses are professional and asked questions before, during and after the massage to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying the massage.For the quality, the price is pretty much a steal. Highly recommended!

Just had my best massage here. I liked how nice and friendly everyone here was - from the gentleman at the reception to my masseuse who was exceptionally skillful and professional. Very quiet atmosphere, dim lights, clean and tidy rooms, amazing smell of mint and lavender.I had Paula working on my body and she made me feel completely like a new person. I loved how she worked on every single muscle and even defined my problem zones by touch. Awesome job!!! After I was done I felt like it was worth every single penny and a little bit more.

I found my new favorite massage place!! I called and spoke to Mark who was so nice and helpful on the phone and in person. My deep tissue massage was with Paula who is my new favorite massage therapist! And Ive had a lot of massages over the years. She is so strong and walked on my back etc. In the end she cracked my back which was incredible as something had been out of place and bothering me and she got it! The products she used were amazing... some sort of menthol oil or cream which helped tremendously. I left a different person and feel fantastic the next day. I recommended her to a friend at the gym today who was having hip pain. And as everyone mentions here, prices are fabulous! Just be sure to tip well.

HOLY MOLY this is LONG overdue! I am busting at the seams at how pleased I am with my massages. I have been seen by so many therapist here its hard to name one as my absolute favorite. Ive been going to Serendipity Wellness Studio for several years and I always have Jenny for the ashiatsu massage. Its a great experience; Jenny is very experienced and puts you in her safe hands (and feet) throughout the therapy session. I would definitely highly recommend Serendipity to everyone.

Ive been here twice now, and have had excellent massages both times. It is a very nice space, and the two treatment rooms Ive experienced were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Sherry was my therapist both times, and she has a great ability to find problem areas and fix them. This is no light-touch Swedish style circulatory massage - this is an experience focused on complete relaxation through muscle therapy. Finally, the owner and the rest of the staff are so nice that they make you feel like youve been there many times before, even if its your first time. This is an excellent place to get a massage. Highly recommended.

I have gone here a few times now and I have to say that the massages are excellent! Everyone here is very knowledgeable and they always have a great technique. I go home feeling pain free and they always get the knots out without hurting me! Everyone really takes there time with you to make sure its the best experience and they always ask questions in the beginning to cater the massage to your specific needs. This place is great. First time here and we were walk ins. They were very accommodating as there were three of us. The place clean and well kept. Massage felt awesome, they use a towel to cover your body which I liked because it felt more hygienic, and used a foot pillow.

Ive been massaging for 25 years and Im very picky with whom I allowed to touch my body. this place has 8 massage therapist and I have tried them all. Every one of the massage therapist will listen to your needs and adjust the pressure as they are massaging you. So, do not walk take a flight and get to this place as soon as possible and be welcomed with such warm Energy that you will feel like you have found your home!!!

I think this place offers fantastic services, if you like a strong massage they will walk on your back! My wife likes a gentler approach and she enjoys their technique a lot. The rooms are small and comfortable and the staff are really polite and friendly. I think it’s good value for money as well.

Had back surgery in January 2015, and went today to Wilshire Massage for the first time in months, and feel great. I cant wait until my next visit, will want to go at least once a week. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the rooms are decorated in a way that makes you feel like your on vacation. Everyone is so nice, and makes me feel like Im special.

Ive had a couple Frye flats re-soled here with a rubber sole (way more durable) and have been very happy with the service. Knocking off one star because the pricing has been inconsistent and I just wish they would clearly post their prices. But will continue to bring all of my shoe business here.

I just finished up a spa facial with Lexie and it was fantastic. Such a treat to be able to relax without time or anywhere particular to be. Facility was clean and well attended. Staff was super attentive and very nice. I will be back hopefully sometime soon!

They had a $45 an hour special that had just ended but they extended it for me and my friend which was very nice. The walls are thin and the walls dont connect to the ceiling so you can hear people groaning or talking in the other rooms but other than that it was an enjoyable experience. We did not leave there feeling like we had gotten a massage so it did not have the lasting euphoric feeling we would have liked.

First time at this location and it was great. I purchased the nourshing facial and it was amazing. Gloria (Lead) performed the service and she is lovely and professional. The sauna, whirlpool, steam room etc are great! my only recommendation is I wish they would add cookies to the snack table. I mean at these prices, come on - toss in some sweat treats with the tasty tea. Going on a weekday in the evening seems to be the best bet since it is fairly empty!!

That review below from Good E is bogus. I was religiously going to this place, the staff there is impeccable with customer service! From the spa, lobby and front desk! The management team always addresses any issues that come up, with professionalism and %110 customer service. The spa is very well maintained by the spa attendants, and they work hard in there to keep it clean and well stocked. Very courteous and friendly too. I know first hand that the General Manager would not allow for any funny business to take place in there either. Keep up the great work there staff of Wilshire Massage!

Once upon a time I was just an occasional indulger of Wilshire Massage. However, once I found the perfect and most therapeutic masseuse I immediately became a member to enjoy the benefits of monthly massages at member prices. JADE specializes in deep tissue and believe me, she knows what shes doing! I have been to SO many masseuses in my lifetime because I am a very tense person! Nobody knows how to work out he knots and all the right places to go than Jade. Shes amazing beyond words. I am a thousand times more relaxed and ready to conquer work and life after a visit with her. Shes professional, caring and super knowledgeable! You can tell she enjoys what she does because she listens to your ailments and gets all the kinks ironed out! All with a smile!

Each therapy room is themed and definitely relaxing. Ive been in some fast food Corporate massage establishments where the decor was dark, depressing and too often, therapists seemed overworked. I left feeling somewhat drained of energy. At Wilshire Massage, therapists are given adequate rest between clients, hence a therapeutic and relaxing session. Highly recommend!

I came here for a second tim. Sometimes the first time is always a fluke and provide good service. Not this massage parlor. By far the first time brought me in and the second time kept me. Carrie is amazing and really has the strength, despite her small frame, to provide a traditional shiatsu massage. Other massage places are too weak for me but this massage parlor gives an amazing service for only $30! What a steal! The staff are always polite and friendly, place is clean AND calming (hard to find both), and the service was phenomenal. Save me a table because Im coming back!

The place looks sketchy from outside but it’s honestly the best (and clean!) massage place in Los Angeles.The prices are extremely reasonable for Los Angeles $52 for an hour + $15-20 tip.I see a lot of people saying how massage was amazing yet are leaving 4 star reviews, honestly shame. Yes the place doesn’t have new decor but it’s very clean which is paramount. If you want beautiful modern decor feel free to pay at least twice at other spas.Ask for May, she is hands down the best. Katie would be my second choice.

For some reason she did not get my right back/neck basically at all even though she spent a lot of time on my left back/neck. I would have said something but earlier she had lectured me about how she does things step by step and was annoyed when I would ask her about specific spots. My right side is still in a ton of pain, and considering that I got 90 minutes thats pretty annoying. Furthermore, the main reason I came in was to treat my neck/shoulder pain which I told her, yet she focused most of her time on my legs. I understand they are all connected, but still this was too much time to spend on my legs compared to how little she spent on my neck/back. This is the next day and I have basically no pain reduction, I know how I should feel after having a good massage and this is definitely not itAlso, please stop using styrofoam cups, theyre bad for the environment and paper cups are super cheap.Also, an expected $20 tip on a $75 massage is quite high, and is almost like hidden feesThe owner is very nice though

I have been going to this place for over 10 yrs. All I can say is today the owner Mark ripped me off by charging me 40 percent tip and he said its because of the deep tissue service. I asked the therapist in her native tongue if she knows about this and she said she only gets 5 bucks each time. Wow! My massage was 50 bucks and I placed $10 cash in the tip envelope then he charged extra 10 on my credit card cz I ran out of cash. Its not about the money. ..its the principle and he is a lying opportunist. Beware of his poor business practice. You dont want to be a part of his exploitation. I left the place shaking my head. I gave him the money because part of me thinks he is desperate and he needed the extra 10 bucks because the place was dead.

What a FABULOUS spa. Totally love this place! The decor is beautiful and the staff is fantastic. They just make you feel so relaxed! I could not get over the fact that their robes have little hoods! How adorable is THAT? Omg. Loved it. My aesthetician, Brenda was very skillful and made my face feel ever so soft and glowy. There were quite a few people at the spa after I got out of my facial so I went to hide in the Quiet Room to read some magazines/nap, while sipping on some green tea. The quiet room is great because its all dark and you can nap if you want, but each seat has a personal light above it for reading and such, should you so desire. It was a very well run spa, with attendants refilling the cold lemon water frequently so that it was never empty and always cold. I had a fabulous time getting pampered here.Everything was great but my favorite part of it all was still the little hooded robes. :) Its the little things...

I absolutely adore this place!Its such a refreshing way to start a weekend.The powderroom is wonderful! most of the things they use are organic. it has so many amenities. you have to try them out at least once in your lifetime.dont be discouraged by the price because included with the price you have access to the steam room and sauna, showers, jaccuzzi, you get a plush robe and its just so relaxing. you could sip on some herbal tea or just drink the water its my fave it has a cucumber citrus flavor.

Spent 50 dollars on a full body massage and it felt like I was just getting lotion rubbed all over my body the entire time. The lady I went to and the lady my friend went to both did a really bad job. We wanted to quit 10 minutes in.

Nope, nope thats just a deep mfn massage. Best place Ive been to in LA hands down...It could look a little nicer but you really dont care after you get your money worth and then some.

I went in for the first time explaining the pain I was in and asking questions. I was asked to lower my voice and I did. I told the man at the front desk that I wanted two hours and he told me they were only giving 1 hour massages so i then said as long as my neck feels better afterward the man then began lecturing me on his opinion of me simply trying to get answers. I then said to him Ok I get the point he then asked me to leave. Obviously this guy isnt very good at customer service. This is the first time Ive ever come here and its certainly the last and I never even got served what a shame. Ill go somewhere else where my business is appreciated

I thought something was stuck there. Yep, that bad.Im probably going to try and come at least once a month to relieve my back of all the stress I put onto it. Theyre really great, really affordable, and made me leave feeling awesome!

I didnt mind the shabby exterior that makes it look like a massage place that serves GIs, or the bare boned, small interior rooms. It was the front desk dudes (FDDs) that grated my nerves. The first one kept emphasizing how busy they were when I made the appointment and conflated the Sports massage with the Deep Tissue one. When I got there, it was pretty much empty and a different FDD had me complete an elaborate chart. He handed it to the masseuse, but I doubt she read it as what she gave me was just their standard. I asked for deep tissue and she, an experienced hand, provided a combo of deep tissue, thai and chiropractic. It felt relaxing but not THAT relaxing. Not the best Ive had by a long shot. I paid in cash b/c it was cheaper but b/c of limited cash, I tipped less. That drew the ire of the FDD who lectured that b/c this was my first time I shouldve reviewed the gratuity rules posted on the walls of the rooms. I didnt see anything in there as it was pretty dark. He told me he knew the value of the services they provide and I shouldnt undercut them. Those eyes! He looked like he was about to do some cutting himself! I nodded and walked to my car, wondering why the place just didnt add the gratuity to the overall amount. Better yet, why pass the burden of paying your employees properly to the consumer? The employers irresponsibility and nasty customer service harmed the zen of this place. First and last time.
