STAY AWAY: this doctor is absolutely horrible. She does not care about the well-being of her patients and thrives on prescribing medications that are incorrect for the patient(s). She lacks professional communication skills and is very unprofessional. Her bedside manner is terrible. Not sure where she earned her credentials may be outside the USA.UCLA must reconsider this doctor. Don’t know why they allowed her to join UCLA. I’ve been a part of UCLA for years. Natalya V. My colleague referred me to Dr. Sumina and I am so glad she did! Dr. Sumina always makes me feel very comfortable during a visit, spends time explaining everything, answering all questions, and the there is almost always no wait to come in.

I am Dr Suminas patient for years, she is the Dr. always very conscience about her work. She prepare work before she see patients and with any follow up lab results afterwards. Few times I received my lab report from her after business hours, sometime even on weekend. I dont think there is too many Doctors like her!Two years ago I went to Dr. Sumina complained about my problem, according to my symptom she instructed me to do a MRI. And a baseball size tumor was detected in my brain. She saved my life.I am very lucky to have Dr. Sumina as my primary physician. She is the best Doctor I have ever run into. Terrible doctor if your having a serious health issue - don’t expect any support- she will refer you and then drop you like she never knew you - no compassion or courage to talk face to face with you- makes you wonder why she even became a doctor.
