A very nice store with very nice employees but be warned -- they dont sell beer or wine! Apparently theyre owned by Mormons, so I guess that explains it but still, very inconvenient.

The best! I couldnt survive LA a week without their fresh juice...order from the juice bar & pick your own. The hot food & salad self serve is fresh and good selection. Nice beauty/health food area too. Super nice staff.

My first and favorite Lassens Natural Food and Vitamins market. When I lived close to this market, I like going there doing my personal purchases. There are everything and different prices. Not bad quality but you have the choice, if your wallet is full or a little bit empty in the month. Some employees are helpful other not, its the new world rules!

Some one toll me yes the food, vegetable and vitamins for losing weight are good so I want to go and see it with my on eyes today

My local Lassens Natural Food and Vitamins, in fact its 3 blocks away from my apartment and super convenient. Pretty standard layout as most WF. Nice produce area, seafood dept and meat dept. And the bakery dept usually always has samples! Cheese dept small but they have a decent selection.

Wow all I can say is as a competitive Bodybuilder this place is a amazing find. They stock everything I need and if not have Kent or any of the other people will order it for you. They also might be able to show you something the same. Today My new coach gave me my list of products I called it in they pulled the order and bam in and out.Highly rec. Parking is on street but this is Los Angeles people need to know they might have to walk to a location.

Warning - Avoid this location! Horrible customer service! Manager (guy with glasses, refused to share his name) is rude, disrespectful and lacks ANY skill whatsoever in customer interaction and problem solving. Simple parking issue and he basically said that he didn’t need my business when I called him on it. It’s interactions like this that leave me feeling like racism is still alive and well in the US. It’s no wonder that a good store like lassens hardly has any foot traffic in a prime location like La Brea Ave. Back to Whole Foods it is!

Avoid this location. They will not validate your parking if you dont buy something and nine times out of 10 theyre out of whatever it is you need. I have never heard of a grocery store that wont validate your parking. The employees are rude and the manager Leah who is black is racist against the white people. The manager Leah refuse to validate my ticket even after I special order the item they were out of. She lied and said you get 10 minutes free parking but when I got out there they said thats not true and the parking attendant informed me that they dont allow 10 minutes free parking. Every time I come I end up having to pay $3 to park to not even get what I need and its a major hassle. The manager Anthony came out and spoke to me wasted upwards of 15 minutes of my time explaining to me that they validate their parking on a case-by-case basis. In other words whether or not they like you or the color of your skin. If you want to spend a half hour hassling with two managers that are rude over parking go to this Lassens that never has anything in stock with rude employees that obnoxious. And by employees I mean the managers themselves. Leah who is a manager is rude and obnoxious and insulting in openly anti white racist. And Anthony who is her boss has no customer service skills, let alone a clue. I hope they shut this Lassens down. This location SUCKS. These people dont deserve to be employed.

Love this place. Its not a fancy place. Warehouse type w just products... Huge variety . Seems to carry a lot of Animal and universal products that u cant find at GNC or vs. good price, and like the unique check in offers and other perks not available at the aforementioned shops.

My favorite grocery store! They have the best hot bar/salad bar and pre-made sandwiches and salads. My favorites include the spaghetti squash with marinara and their cheesy kale salad. They also great kelp noodle dishes at their raw bar. Ive been on a recent sourdough kick and Lassens brand sourdough bread is the best (the veggie one especially)! Ive also found their prices to be lower than many of the same exact items at whole foods and they have free garage parking!

Small health food store with prepared food bar and salad bar. They also have a deli where I often order their salmon cakes, a favorite. Prices and selection are competitive and all their produce is organic.

Great, BUT I can believe that their insulated silver bags are not recycleable..............WF told me to cut them up an put them in the land fill bin.

This poor rating is solely in regards to the customer service . the facility itself is very clean and well-organized . walking distance from my house , I was hoping to love this place , but the lack of welcome and assistance from employees encourages me to shop elsewhere , like Trader’s Joe where I am pleasantly greeted and offered help . this is my second time at Lassen’s — third strike and they’re out .

I like this store. It is on the smaller side but they have a great supplement section. I typically go in with 40$ cash and can get a week and a half, or so, of food for the week.Friendly and helpful staff.

I love Lassens! They have a great selection of Paleo products. I also love their selection at the Salad bar and Grab n Go. Very reasonably priced. You can always trust to find great product here!

They have great food but the people who check you out are so rude!!I shop there quite often but you have to watch when they ring you up. Sometimes you dont get the correct price . If you dare to question them they get hostile or look at you like you are lying. They need to get better people in there! This has happened more than once with me.

The service in that certain location was wonderful the only down fall is that most of their items are overpriced I usually get a cream cheese substitute made of jalapeno for 6 or 5 bucks in whole foods but the cream cheese here is 8 bucks most of their foods and snacks are good but I rather shop at whole foods or another organic store that sells its merchandise cheap.Also their sandwiches there are tasteless and flavorless next time if I ever buy their sandwiches Im bring my hot sauce or they could just add a hot sauce condemnt just in the same place where they put their knifes,forks,and spoon.

Sprouts is just as good and most items much cheaper. Slightly more variety too. On the go containers very pricey.

Great for vegan and organic food. Normally pricey but has great sales - like $1 organic blueberries or blackberries. Ive never seen that anywhere else. You have to be choosey if you dont want to blow a budget.

Organic kind of hippie specialty mini supermarket. Limited selection but many interesting products. Overstuffed store. Good parking.

On the ground level, you enter the store through the cafe area. This is where I park myself while my friend shops upstairs. Others seem to do this too and even charge their phones.

Its good if you want a lot of vitamins and ok tasting prepared food, its not good if you want fresh produce or most things youd get from a grocery store. I will say, the fresh drinks top notch.

Please be aware of Alejandra, self proclaimed cashier manager. She is enforcing return policies that do not reflect the company policies. She is illegally demanding a first and last name along with a phone number in order to issue a refund for food items under $10 with REGULAR VALID PROOF OF PYRCHASE AND RECEIPT. So basically if you are unhappy with a prodouct at Lassen thanks to Alejandra your critical and sensitive data end up on a piece of paper not even a secured database and it doesnt matter at all that you have your receipt and the items are under $10, your identity needs to be fully disclosed and unsecurily stored because evidently Alejandra wants to put each and every customer with a valid receipt on a black list for not liking a product. Disgusting. And she even processed the whole transaction with the nastiest attitude asking me whats wrong the product and not liking my answers. I hope Anthony the store manager is going to do something about this girl.

When I went in around 10 pm at night (dont go in late this is when they are at their worst) and I went over to the hair supplies asking for dry hair shampoo.First girl working in this isle told me this Giovanni brand was good. So I buy it.I cash out with the second girl in glasses and dreads and shes rude per usual.THENI come back to return my item because instantly the spray nozzle was broken.To the second girl I say Hey this is broken can I switch it out?and she looked at me like I was stupid?she says I can return it...So right there, I go up to the girl that sold me the product because she was standing at the cashier with the third rude girl.I say again, Hey this is broken can I switch it out?She says, Theres no more.In my head I knew I saw more....Sure enough there was four right there....I go up to them at the cashier because Im next in line and they looked at me and took the broken one and say thats literally all you had to do.WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT!? FROM MY KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE TO SCAN EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF INVENTORY!!!May I add, I am very pleasant. I always had been. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars here. I come here everyday. And unintentionally bought this and that.And it was a little cold indoors because of nutrients.I will use cinnamon toothpaste and leave an additional review.
