If I could rate zero starts I would. This place is beyond a disaster. The procedure directions are photocopied from the 90s and are complete with all the wrong directions for their current medications and requirements. They even tell you that one the the prescriptions they are giving you most likely cant be filled since no one carries it anymore (I called SIX pharmacies). The wait was almost 2 hours, no one answers the phone, emails or returns even urgent phone calls. Why would you trust a body part to these people??

This place is a joke, the worst joke ever! You can never get to them on the phone. I had to actually go there to book an appointment. The doctor on my referral is called Cyril and after 3 appointments I found out that Ive never seen this doctor. The person I see is a different guy who i dont even know if hes a doctor. He came in the room the first time and spoke to me holding the door barely listened what I had to say he wanted to leave the room after 30 seconds. He never examined me.My report from the imaging center was wrong and he didnt even notice. I called for them to try to chase the clinic to fix it they never answered I had to go there again and they didnt want to call the clinic and said they would wait for the next exam.The staff is rude and the last time I was there they left me waiting for an hour until I was taken into the room.. after 40 min I asked what was going on and they said they didnt have my results! Outrageous! Stay away tfrom them

Good luck even getting through on the phone. Ive never experienced this ever in my LIFE. Never 1 time have I ever been able to reach the office. Ive called several different office locations and it goes to a VOICEMAIL. And nobody calls you back. One time I finally got through and the lady on the phone says, their phone number is WRONG on their website. On top of that - they say to make an appointment online. I did. Nobody got back to me. This feels really shady and a scam. I only came here because I have HMO and this is the only Dr thats near me and is in my network. WHAT A JOKE

If I could give a minus star I would. First of all you can not reach them ever through the phone. Dont bother leaving a voice mail they dont pick up. I had to drive here 3 times just to ask questions and they messed up my perscription so the pharmacy couldnt give it to me..again tried calling nothing..so had to drive to them to fix this problem. Second of all made 2 appointment, the first they put down originally wasnt there so i had to reschedule, the second i just came to and guess what...it wasnt in the system so i drove here again for nothing!!!! So unorganized so be aware !!!! Ps my actual appointment was at 11am...they didnt call me in for 3 hours later and didnt start my procedure till 2.45pm.

Horrible place. You can not get a human being on the phone and when my husband showed up they made him wait 2 hours in a room and no one ever came! He finally left. But that is only the end of the story. Before that he went and waited over an hour to have a short conversation with a doctor on how to prepare for the colonoscopy. They gave him a prescription for a solution to drink but NO pharmacy in Los Angeles could provide that drug as it was on back order for months. How could this doctor not know? And then it was impossible to call and talk to anyone at the medical facility because no one answers the phone. We emailed twice and left 4 voicemails and no response. Finally after an hour on hold we got through and he was told to come back for a new prescription. That is when he was made to wait over 2 hours and no one came to say that someone will see him shortly or anything. He sat there in a room with the door open and no one came for 2 hours so he left. Took a day off for nothing and drive there in the rain in traffic for nothing! I guess only the worst facilities will take medi-cal? Very upsetting!

Nurses were friendly and so was the janitor. My appointment was at 6:30am and the janitor and nurse welcomed me in. The actual procedure was done around 8am when the doctor arrived. I was laid in a bed and the nurses were friendly the whole time. The endoscopy procedure was done to perfection and there was no irritation to my throat after. The doctor was also kind.

It is really hard to get anyone to pick up the phone or answer any emails related to upcoming appointment or test results. I was supposed to get a specialty prescription for a treatment Dr. Fan provided which had to be called in by the administrative medical staff and when a week went by I called the pharmacy to che k on my prescription status and they had no record of it.

They Never answer the phone after waiting on hold for over 1 hour 20 minutes just so the phone hangs up just to call back & get the same did this for 2 1/2 months til I was river in the area went in an scheduled my appointment 😧🙁

I recently had an appointment consultation and a follow-up endoscopy from this location and I cannot give enough praise to the staff there. My nurse was super reassuring and my Dr helped explain whats going on with me. The procedure itself went by fast and they helped me afterwards. Even with the Covid-19 situation currently affecting so many this place helped put me at ease and Im so grateful to all the staff I encountered.

This place treats patients like cattle. They have you waiting in the pre operative room for hours before its your turn. I was laying there for 8 hours. They kept apologizing saying I would be up in a few but hours past.This is my second visit for Endoscopy/ Colonoscopy.When I returned for my follow up I was rushed and did not answer questions.Dr. Fan told me I would be called when my biopsy results came in but never got a call.Nice people but not very disappointed in the Gastroenterologists. It seems they are only in it for the money.No, I do not recommend this facility.

My Doctor was great and the Hispanic nurses. But the other nurses not. As soon as I walked in. Now Im in bed and shes loud with the health questionnaire, as if I cant hear, even the person in the back could hear. And then shes talking to the other black nurse about me. Comenting, discussing me and how late I took the solution, and so on...when I only followed the instructions that I was given. Now I am done my daughter is in the lobby waiting for me. Someone comes out and says You lady, Maria is done, come and get her things They got my name wrong. Very Bad Service. Doctor please get better nurses.

Not a happy experience for me here!!..Nurses are way too anxious for you to get out..no privacy...I got endoscope here..way too many people together in one little room..nurses dont seem professional..loud..

Avoid this doctors group unless you like to wait on the phone for up to an hour to schedule or get information, or like to wait for four hours after your scheduled appointment time for a procedure, or are okay with having a procedure and not being given any information or treatment, or really like waiting for over a month to get results from a biopsy - and on top of all that, get billed for all of this in a flash. Apparently the clinical staff are reasonably friendly although always way behind - but the office staff is completely a mess. And doctors that are willing to work in that environment cannot be the top. Im a doctor - I have never experienced such a completely dysfunctional care setting.

The staff and doctors at this facility are great. I was nervous as most people would be for the procedures they provide but the doctor but me at ease upon our first meeting. The receptionist stayed on top of it and called me the day prior to my procedure to make sure I understood all the guidelines(thankfully because I was not following all of the instructions of what to eat prior). The day I arrived for the procedure(they’re open a couple Saturdays a month, yay!), I have to arrive early to fill out a bit of paper work. I did have to wait an hour before going in for my appointment but the waiting room was comfortable and they had animal planet on which was nice and took my mind off the procedure. Once I went in the nurses were friendly and got me dressed and ready for action. I waited for about 15mins before they took me in for my procedure. I read some horror stories about people feeling the whole thing, so I was very scared it was going to hurt. Then boom I was out like a light! I woke up 20-30minutes later in the prep room ready to go home. I didn’t feel a thing during or after the procedure. These guys did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone!

Do you like to wait on the phone for up to an hour to schedule an appointment or get information??? or Do you like to wait for 3 hours the day of you appointment??? PLEASE Avoid this group! Apparently the clinical staff are reasonably friendly but they always have an excuse to you why you have to wait for hours in the phone or on the clinic. starting from the manager Michelle Ornelas (at Los Angeles) the office staff is completely a mess.

They canceled my husband Simons colonoscopy 2 days before I was supposed to do it. Luckily I didnt start the prep. I wasnt distracted at this until I found out it was because they did not know how to submit to Tricare. They kept blaming Tricare for being slow but I felt like something was wrong so I called Tricare directly and they told me it only takes 24 hours for approval if they submitted into correctly and checked up on it. I waited a whole month before I finally had my appointment because they did not do their due digiliance in following up with my paper work. To make matters worst they scheduled me twice (first time was canceled) for 6 am appointment. I asked them to verify that it is a.m and I showed up at that time only to find out they dont open till 6.30 am. Its freezkngg out here and I havent eaten for 30 hours. This is ridiculous.**update**I told the receptionist Cindy and she just rolled her eyes and said well I have you here for 0630. That was my point! Why would they tell me to be here at 6 in the morning and not even let us wait in the lobby when they dont even open until 0630! She also had the nerve to kept cutting me off by saying thank you when I was asking her questions about my paperwork. I havent eaten for 38 hours so I just left it at that. We are patients going through some sort of illness. Please talk to us like people and not cattle. The worst part about this is that nothing will happen even if I complain. They know they will keep getting business because of the insurance.

Not only did this confused and dyfuntional West Gastromilogy cancel my appointment within a few days...They used the lame ecxuse before when the cancelled my pre-consodation...Oh we are so sorry the doctor will be out of the country, we have to cancel the operation....Well maybe he should have a back up doctor..Ya Think???Lupe the administrator did not even reshedule the appointment. SO I had to!!! With another medical group!!Absolutely the worst possible service from any medical network a IPA, Rega lcould contract with. But they do!!

When I went to get my endoscopy procedure on Friday December 1st I was treated badly in the procedure room by one of the nurses and the gastroenterologist. When I got in the procedure room I started crying and shaking and the nurse went by me and said to me why are you shaking in a raised voice and then said to me what kind of medicine am I taking and I told her fluoxetine and quetipine and she said you better be telling me the truth and then said these medicines are not just for anxiety do you have bipolar. I got more shaky and crying and my heart rate was going high and she went over to the heart monitor and told me in a mean voice to stop breathing fast. After that she went out of the procedure room to do something and laugh and have fun with the nurses while the gastro doctor was finishing up another patient procedure. I was still crying and shaking and I really wanted my friend in the surgical room so badly especially when I saw the endoscopy scope next to me frighten me more. The nurse and the gusto doctor came in and the gastro doctor came towards me and asked me why are you back to me and also said you must be feeling bad and put his hands on his hips and I said I am feeling bad in a shaky voice and was crying more. I asked the gastro doctor can I have my friend in the procedure room and he said no and started crying harder. The same nurse who was already mean and rude to me said in a high bossy tone to me if you don’t stop crying then we will cancel it and you would be wasting our time and your time to me. I continued crying and shaking even more and there was a different nurse who was nicer that came close to me before she put me to sleep i cried and asked if I will be put to sleep and the nice nurse said yes and the nice nurse said it is okay and then I fell asleep.The only gastro I like there and that I want as my doctor is dr.fan he is caring and understands what I go through in my GI problems

Terrible. The worst Doctor and medical group ever. They take your money, tell you to do more tests than necessary, and then dont give you the test results. Stay away from this place.

The worst service on earth. Call and call and call, waited on phone for 30 minutes a pop. If you seem agitate by there slowness, they will hang up on you. Very frustrating!

Worst service ever, I was on the phone for over 40min, when finally this lady operator picked up the phone, she hang up on me because I told her she was rude. I work in medical field myself as a LVN and I really ashamed that have these type of people in this field.
