I have seen Dr Spirt for several years and my experience with him and his staff have been nothing less than superb. He takes the time and effort to explain each diagnosis and the meaning of the test that he takes. I had seen several physicians with a diagnostic dilemma and after a appointment in his office in which he took a history very complete, brief physical exam and drew some blood he identified what the problem that the other doctors did not. I have full confidence in his abilities and recommend him highly.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Spirts for over 20 years. Hes kept me in excellent health and is both a great doctor and a great guy. Ive always received outstanding care from him. Hes patient with any questions and knowledgable and clear in the information he shares and he has my complete trust. If there were any issues outside his care, his referrals were always outstanding. I once had incredible pain from a herniated disc and he found me the best spine doctor, got me in swiftly, and monitored my progress. He always checks in and follows up! Highly recommend!

I have known Dr. Mitchell J. Spirt for over 25 years. He is the best gastroenterologist in LA. He is kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable and is passionate and dedicated to being the best. He takes the time with you to really listen and understand and he is thorough and meticulous in how he works. I cant recommend him enough. It’s rare to find a doctor who takes the time to review your history. and explain the details in a language that is clear to a non medical person. Dr Mitch Spirt is one of the best gastroenterologist doctors in the area. Its hard to top many of the reviews that are written here. I have been seeing Dr Spirt for a decade. He is kind compassionate attentive and really loves what he does. You cant just take a blood test to diagnose a GI issue and it requires a doctor that takes their time and asks the right questions. It is not unusual for him to follow up several times - many weeks after an appointment to just ask you how you are doing. That is something that I have never experienced in the world of medicine. I highly recommend him for anyone that has been through high volume practice and cant get more than 3 min of doctors time and cant get the proper care. I would give him 10 stars if I could. You will feel the same after you become his patient and his staff is impeccable and great!

He has common sense and absolutely specialized interpersonal skills. I entrust him to all my friends and family. They say all you need in life is a good Doctor and a good Mechanic. After coming in I was very impressed. He is very personal and honest about preventing future issues. He personally followed up to make sure I was making progress. My health is the most important thing and I am glad I am in good hands.

After all the hardship that I underwent with my insurance comany and payment, Dr. Spirt involved himself and made it his priority to assist me with getting all authorizaitons met and peer to peer established. After a long 5 months everything has been dealt with. Dr. Spirt spoke to all parties and assisted me in getting an authorization!!! I was not responsible to make any payments other than my co-pay.
