Worst experience ever! Was told by my physicians office that appointments werent available till late March but I could go to this clinic as a walk in. They open at 8:30am so I decided to arrive by 8am in case there was a line. 8:30am came and no one opened the doors. Then 8:40am and still no luck. I called their phone number to see what was going on and was told that the staff was in a meeting. Im not sure why they couldnt schedule the meeting earlier in the day or after they had closed to the public but oh well. Never mind that it was set to rain this day so it was cold and breezy but they finally opened over 30 minutes after the scheduled opening time.As a walk in I understand that I may have to wait however after about an hour I was finally taken to a room where they took my blood pressure twice because the first one came back as an error. Then I was told that a room wasnt available but they would have one shortly. So I had to wait in the lobby again watching The Sandlot movie they had playing. By the time the movie finished my name still hadnt been called so I asked the rep. at the window how much longer it was going to be and was told 5 minutes. Well 5 minutes dragged on to over 10 and by this point I had enough especially since I had other commitments to keep. When I left it was raining, cold and I wasted my entire morning.This is not the way medical professionals should attend patients. Their incompetence can cause more harm in the end. If this is they way this organization treats people then I feel bad for the ones who dont have a second option. I on the other hand will take myself to a more professional and reliable health provider.

This place offers the best transgender programs. I travel 47 miles everytime for my appointment because its totally worth it. The doctors are the best and very understanding. Make sure to make an appointment because wait times are a bit long even with an appointment. They play movies in the waiting room. Great clinic.

I belive that there service can be improved and provide a better solution on connecting with the community. The standard they presumably assume they are , can achieve more growth and come to an understanding on this profession they acquired.

Im not going to give them a one cause I had to wait. But they are definitely getting a 3 for that. I schedule my appointment months in advance and lucky to be seen even 15mins after the appointment. Sometimes I have waited up to near 2hrs. I know things come up and what not but I recall I had scheduled an appointment at 12 then had to pick up my neice at 4.... Come 3pm I was still there.... Like whats the point of an appointment if we cant even be expected to be seen within atleast a half hour. Other than that complaint I like this facility, they are always offering services and other stuff to reach out which is nice. Other than that its just ur regular old packed clinic.

I have called multiple times trying to get a hold of someone. I started at position 54 and moved my way down to number 8 only for the call to end. It is impossible for someone to answer the phone. Even when you call as soon as they open. Seriously beyond disappointed. They need to come up with a better phone system.

It takes 3 weeks minimum to get an appointment if youre lucky. The wait times are horrible. Mental health services are egregiously understaffed; SWIM waited 2 months for an appointment with a therapist, only to then be told that therapists could only see patients once a month.And to top everything off, doctors here dont sign name change documents; they have a separate office for that. Consequently, Ive been trying to get my documents approved for 5 months, and every time Im told that Ill be called back soon. I never get called back. Dont waste your time here.

This is the most disgusting “health” facility I have ever been subjected to. I haven’t been able to speak to my doctor in months. If you can avoid going here, do it at all costs. The efficiency of the staff is disastrous. It doesn’t matter how many messages you leave, or emails that are exchanged, you WILL NOT be treated like a human.

There is no type of structure. I waited over 2 hours just to get my TB read.. that’s insane most places take care of it instantly as soon as you sign in. They’re all over the place and no one was of help when I went to them multiple times to tell them my situation. Not coming back here again. Find a better clinic if you want efficient care.

Amazing how they make you feel welcome

Excellent for trans care and a low-cost (free) family clinic. Walk-ins can expect to wait several hours, but they play cute movies and its air conditioned. Dr. Cac is an excellent health provider.

Waited 50 minutes in the lobby JUST to get blood drawn. Asked the gossiping receptionists how long it’ll take TWICE and I was told there’s a person ahead of me both times. VERY inconsiderate. And their attitudes are very unprofessional. The only reason one star is given is because I like the doctors here

They have let down a relative of mine with serious mental health problems, especially during the pandemic. Appointments were canceled, we weren’t notified that appointments were made through phone, we waited the next appointment after confirming, no one ever called us or follow up after. These so called “therapists” are useless, all they give are dangerous pills. Looking for help for someone? Not here.

I had a really good experience here. I’ve been to several St. John’s facilities and this is so far my favorite. Everyone here is really nice and easy to talk to.

If you are sick and a patient already youll have a appointment to see the doctor 1 or 2 months later they are giving priority to new patients to fill it out their commissions but they cant even attempt the patients that are already subscribed with them I am really disappointed to be enrolled on this health service

This Staff / Clinic is polite, efficient,t the point, In & Out with an appointment, even as a Walk-In you get in&out fast!Love their Up-Beat Warm Welcome. I recommend you check out you check out out other Serciveses, suchs as the Transgender Services or the Homelesservices, they offer so many other services.....just ask!!!!

I love my clinic because the girls there are the best and the doctors are awesome two at the same time and its fun being there cuz I felt like if Im at home I love my Saint John Wellness children and family clinic people should check it out sometime

I been a client for this clinic for over 3 years. And unfortunately there’s always something but things can’t run smoothly.Is either a doctor that is forgetful to summit a referral or the behavioral referral department that’s always changing staff, or so overbooked that u need to wait weeks for an appointment as well as spending half a day waiting for the actual consultation.

Waited for 3 hours for my dad to get his vaccines .When called thinking we where going to go in for the vaccine. The fron desk lady tells me that there was a cancellation for 12:30 we can come back at that time. Why didnt she tell us from the moment we signed up we where waiting for someone to cancel so they can attend my dad. Then being rude and telling me i should have know that is how their clinic works👿

This place saved my life. I go here for all my medical needs. Most of the bad reviews are people who are probably used to small personal family doctors but this is a large clinic that’s helping numerous people! Waiting if it’s not urgent won’t kill anyone. And all the staff are superrrr friendly and direct with your needs. 5 stars!!!!

Apperently everyone giving a bad review on this location has never been to st johns on hoover. Ive been a patient for years now at the hoover location and its always over crowded and even with appointments be ready to spend the whole day there. Today i was fortunated to be reffered to this location and they took me in as a walk in. I was super surprised with the free parking friendly manner of the staff and the doctor. And to top it all off the facility is super neat clean and i was in and out in an hour or so. I will be making my appointments here from now on.

Wait time is way too long/inefficient. Have an 11am appt? You can plan in leaving around 2pm.

Get ready to be frustrated beyond belief! From incompetent front desk staff to a long wait time and to inability to verify insurance coverage, where do I even begin. They sure love to take their time before they even address you to call you up to the front desk to check in, after you showed up ON TIME to your appt, then they have you watch a few movies before actually calling you in to see a doctor. But in the meantime, they’re just deciding to verify your health insurance which requires you to sit with another representative who will have some issue or another, then requiring you to get on the phone with your medical benefits provider, etc. Why they don’t verify insurance prior to your appointment is beyond me?! Then you sit and wait some more .. I’ve be here when both busy and not busy and the wait is just as long, usually 45-2 hours out of appt time. I remember just arriving again ON TIME and they said that my doctor just left to lunch and I couldn’t believe that I had to wait for them to have lunch, get back, see the patients ahead of me, then finally see me!! When I was there on time for my regular scheduled appt! Their excuse was that they’re a very busy clinic and see walk ins, which I can understand but have a back up. Or rotate the doctors more efficiently. They have no respect for people’s troubles or time, are unable to give a clear answers when asked, offer no reassurances, don’t have your back, and have absolutely the poorest customer service. If I can give negative five stars I would.

They are so rude here. I will never come back. My 3 yr old was hungry, and was eating a small snack and one of the nurses went to go tell the security on him.. and deliberately put up ano ther sign that said only water, that was so rude and uncalled for.. My appt was at 1:45pm and it is now 2:20pm. They charge 5 dollars to park here and the security is so rude. So are the front desk ladies

Made an Appointment a weel ago. I still came in 30 mins prior to my appointment. Waited 2 hour and asked if i was next to be called, lady in front desk said yes and then they call 3 other patients instead. Rude and bad customer service. Very disorganized and unprofessional

My gf came here because of her tooth cavity hurting we went in and they were able to take her in as an emergency because the pain was at 10 out of 10 she was able to see a dentist within 2 hours which we didn’t mind because we knew we were a walking but from what I seen this place has nice staff and they are busssssyyyyyy but so far we liked it !

Was going to the St. Johns On Hoover and was always seeing different doctors which I didnt like but then I got recommended to come here and is seeing the same doctor everytime I go, on the plus side they are very friendly and he has been able to cure my skin problems that Ive been having since elementary I really like this place and will continue to go

Very bad service, I travel from the San Fernando Valley to the clinic and even by appointment I wait until two hours to see the doctor, I am in the transgender program of name to woman but I already deceived that I have been like 3 times and not I could see the doctor turned out. Long wait time Very bad service Nurses are not fast
