The receptionist was wearing ZERO mask indoors!! And zero ventilation, not following a single COVID protocol. The actual treatment room is tiny with zero ventilation, receptionist is coming in and out of it with no mask and they seemed to not be aware COVID is an airborne virus. I would not feel safe going back here.

I have now been coming to BeyondSkin Medspa for over 1 1/2 years. I have consistently received excellent service and care. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, and I am always seen right at at my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Caldera takes time to explain procedures to me and sets realistic expectations of results (which have always been phenomenal!) I cannot recommend BeyondSkin Medspa enough!

Praya was Amazing. Very professional and explained the Hydrofacial throughly.

Anna was amazing and I will return. I cam in for a Summer Special ~ and received 60 minutes of excellence. I felt cared for and pampered and left seeing and feeling definite benefits from the facial I chose. I didnt, at any time, feel like her goal was to sell me more ~ and the entire experience was pleasurable and professional. I will be returning.

Used to go there for a few years but in the last 6 months it has gone downhill a bit: Arrived today: Windows and entry were dirty, bathroom is in need of repairs and i had to ask for something to dry my hands with as the paper towel dispenser was bare and was given a hand towel (?), very unhygienic (who else may have used it?) Two of the aestheticians i liked are no longer there, and the spa experience is poor (had to ask for music and to turn down the surgery-bright lights). Disappointed this time around.

Absolutely fantastic medical spa. I go here for all of my skin care needs. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive to detail. I had specific questions about certain skin care products and the owner of the establishment spent over thirty minutes answering all of my questions, without any pressure to buy anything. Just a wonderful overall experience - I sent my mother and girlfriend there and they had nothing but great things to say. Keep up the good work guys.

Came by last week because my wife keeps talking about this place. Was basically given the moisturizer 101 by the amazing staff. Had a chance to speak with the Dr who gave me some great advice and helped me pick some shaving products. Service was fantastic and very personable. Highly recommended.

Got a groupon for one of their facials (Beauty Rx). By far the best facial I ever had! My skin was really glowing afterwards and the beautician was very knowledgeable.

Not sure, the staff seem helpful though.

I booked an appointment for a facial on wednesday june 19 (my appointment was for Saturday the 22nd at 10 am). I arrived at my appointment and the building was closed. I waited for about 15 minutes and one of the employees showed up to open the office. I told her I had an appointment for that morning at 10 am, and she said that no appointment had been made and that there were no estheticians there to see me. She said this had been a problem lately and that there was an esthetician working there who had been making appointments but not putting them in the book/forgetting about them. Im disappointed this issue hadnt been resolved beforehand and that it apparently is affecting multiple customers. The receptionist told me I could return at 4 pm that day, but the spa was far from my house and that didnt work for me. It ended up being a huge waste of time and an inconvenience for me. I would he leary of making appointments at this office since (by their own admission) they have issues with not following through on their appointments.

Today I went to Beyondskin Med Spa for laser hair removal. After a twenty minute delay, I walked into the Dr.s office and before I could even speak he said I cannot serve you because of the colour of your skin I was both shocked and offended. Principally because their website claimed they cater to all skin types and because of his curt delivery. I walked out the room and told the receptionist and owner what he said. I reminded them this is Los Angeles, one of the most inclusive cities when it comes to beauty treatments that cater to black skin. The receptionist was horrified and began to apologise. I told her the establishment she works for was racist, and its explicit choice not to service people of a darker hue, specifically black people was disgusting. The owner insisted she wasnt racist and said If we had known you were black, we would have told you not to come After I told them I would tell everyone I know not to patronise their business, they offered me some mascara and free skincare products as an apology. An insulting offer that did nothing to diminish the initial offence. The receptionist was visibly shaken and was the only one who made any attempt to seriously rectify the matter. If you care about inclusion, respect and equality do not give these people your money. They are deeply ignorant and should be ashamed of themselves.

Very knowledgeable and friendly service. The doctor and staff are all very nice and helped me find the best products for me.
