I love this place so much. They did such a wonderful job grooming my cockapoo puppy who is very young. They took their time with her and made sure she was comfortable the whole time, I know this because they took longer than the average haircut and they said that is to be expected when acclimating a young puppy to their first professional groom. My puppy looked SO stylish for months after her cut from Mr. Speck’s! Really reasonable prices considering they’re in Beverly Hills. It’s out of my way to go here but I don’t want to go to any other groomer’s now, they’re so good here.

I dropped my pup off this week several times and have had a great experience so far. Natasha did a wonderful job on boarding my dog and I into Mr. Specks. One week in and I would definitely recommend. Had a wonderful experience with the groomers as well. Can’t wait to try boarding.

I brought my dogs in there after my Boss recommended them. I was very pleased how responsive they were to my concerns and the professionalism they showed me. I bought one of the doggy daycare packages to bring my dogs back for playtime. The best toy selection I have ever came across. I absolutely love this place and will be back.

The staff couldnt have been kinder or more professional, our pup came out of her grooming appointment looking great, clean, with perfectly cut nails and clearly comfortable with her time there. They take the time that is needed - whatever that is - in order to give your dog a good experience, so while the end/pickup timing is a bit unpredictable, the result is well worth it! Pricing is fair for quality.

This was our first time going to Mr.Specks for a groom for our 1 year old Sheepadoodle and we LOVED it! Nicole was so sweet and helpful and Nomer did a phenomenal job with the haircut. She was matted and they were able to de-matt her and now she looks and feels fabulous. Cant wait for our next visit!

Our dog loves it here! Easy drop off, staff is extremely nice and it’s priced fairly moderately. I think it’s about $10/hr or full day is about $37.

This dog daycare is a lifesaver! Our 1.5 year old pup loves going to Mr. Specks Playhouse! The staff are incredible and they provide such great care to our pup and treat him like one of their own. We can’t thank you enough!

We are always very impressed with the quality of service at Mr Specks Playhouse and his team puts forth and the level of canine knowledge they posses. Were very picky about where our dogs stay and our babies love coming here--they are always trying to pull us in whenever we go for a walk close by! We are very appreciative of how accommodating Eddy and the rest of his team have been to our babies, and how much care and attention they devote to every single dog under their care. Absolutely 5 stars!

Ive come here twice to ask about their big dog policy. The first time I spent 15 minutes waiting in the front for anyone to come out and they never did. Instead they watched me through the window like I was going to steal. The second time there were three people at the counter but they wouldnt stop talking long enough to address me. So no, Im not in your system, because you never gave me the chance to talk to anyone. Thats why this is 2 stars.

Alessandro is amazing and highly recommended. He took extra care with my 17 year old dog who was in desperate need of a hair cut. He always makes her happy and look great. He listens and tries to meet my demands since she needs her hair extra short during hot months. Hes one of the best groomers in Los Angeles.

Mr Specks is honestly THE place for dogs. Every dog is given TLC. My poodle absolutely loves Mr Specks. He comes home happy and exhausted! They feed, bath and even take your dog for a walk. I cant fault Mr Specks. Staff are wonderful and very professional. They treat each dog like its their own. My dog has stayed at Dog hotels and been to several dog groomers and none are on the level of Mr Specks.

The best doggy daycare facility in LA! My golden retriever sweetie loves the staff and gets so excited when we pull up to the daycare! I can leave her there overnight and know that shes in good hands!

BEST GROOMER IN TOWN! I have 4 puppies that I love more than anything in this world. They are a little family - grandpa, grandma, mother and grandson - and they are a mix of Bichon and Cockapoo. They all have fine white hair and they all get really really matted. And I have to admit the matting situation gets worse since I usually postpone getting them groomed because the whole thing is quite stressful to them and to me. I had tried a couple of places in the neighborhood and I did like them, but I wanted to try Mr. Specks since they are literally across the street from my house. Oh, what a wonderful coincidence it was to have them so close to us! Alessandro Teixeira is the name of the groomer and HE IS A GENIUS! He is by far THE BEST GROOMER WEVE FOUND HERE IN LOS ANGELES. He is kind, he is patient and most importantly, his work is magic! My doggies look ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! I told them next time Im gonna remember to do a before and after because I almost didnt recognize my babies they looked so good! And I cannot stop petting them cause they feel so incredibly soft. My doggies feel it too! You can see they are walking around all proud of their new look. Alessandro also cleaned their ears, cut their nails, gave them cute little bows and ties, and he even called me the next day to make sure everything was okay. Oh, and he gave a discount because I took all 4 dogs to him and honestly, he should be charging more cause my doggies hair get so matted. Im not kidding, he is THE BEST! I am following him wherever he goes! Thank you to Alessandro and the entire staff (whos also lovely!) at Mr. Specks Playhouse. You guys are a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!
