Dr Benyet is a hero. Saved my life. Operated 5 1/2 hour to be sure to remove all cancer in my head & face. Then he has Dr Roostaeian reconstruct my face with 2 very long complexity surgeries. These 2 Doctors are THE BEST

I initially had a bad experience here; however, UCLAs customer service folks were very kind and helped me out, waiving some fees and being way more sympathetic than their doctors were. I would advise to ask them if your conditions are related to an autoimmune disease. If so, you may want to try the Autoimmune Protocol Diet. Doctors dont recommend diets for some reason. But I did this and it worked better than their treatments, which are expensive if your health insurance doesnt cover dermatology. Youll want to check that, too, as UCLA wont do it for you. You can likely solve your issue with food, stress management and sleep.

I was seen by a resident doctor who was great followed by Dr. Lorraine Young who was also amazing. I was in and out quickly. Not much waiting. Academic centers are always better! They dont recommend treatments unnecessarily.

Let me preface by saying Im not one to rush and give a bad review.I just had a visit with Dr. Laura Bernet. I was so disappointed with her bedside manners and patient care, that I felt compelled to share my experience.I found her to be cold and condescending. She tried pushing me to start using a strong immune suppressing medication, (which would increase my risk of developing infections and cancer) with complete disregard to my input.A Dr. needs to listen to their patients. As grown, responsible adults we are quite capable of knowing what is best for us. We take care of ourselves and others every day, we make highly consequential life choices on a daily basis, and sometimes we actually know what is best for us. Not every patient is the same. Doctors should listen to their patients and make decisions on a case to case basis, based on who is in front of them.I found that everything I had to say fell on deaf ears, with complete disregard to my concerns and my previous experience with medications. Im not sure if this is her personality or if this is done for kickbacks she gets from the pharmaceutical companies. In any case, I think that there are many excellent dermatologists out there. I would recommend going elsewhere.Hopefully, this review helps Dr. Bernet better her practice.

Just had a visit to this clinic. No complaints about the clinic, but they charged me $200 for hospital facilities charge for a 15 minute outpatient visit with a resident, plus copay. Watch out, you may end up paying this amount. Schedule somewhere else, a bit of a scam really.

I have never the met the Dr., I cant say if she is good or not. I waited from August for an appointment at the end of November. A rude office assistant called and cancelled it with less than 24 hours notice. No concern or care and not polite, like she was on a power trip. I wasted 3 months waiting for that appointment. Dont waste your time.

Have been waiting for three days (no sleep) to get medication for painful rash and they have continually dropped the ball. They blame my insurance company but the insurance company stated authorization is held up because Dr. Bonita Kozmo has not returned information they had requested...24 hours ago!
