I used to hate going to the dentist until I found Dr. Barrett and his team. They are very thorough but do everything they can to make sure the visit is comfortable and easy. I actually enjoy the experience of going now. The hygienists are so friendly and kind and I feel like my teeth health has been really good since finding this practice. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

Bad experience, Dr.Kevin totally disregarded the health aspect of my mouth, he seemed focused only on aesthetic and making money.I went to Doctor Barrett based on his great reviews, but I ended up changing Dentist right after he replaced a filling on my molar.He has good seat side manners, but hes too rushed, I realized that while he was working on me he was also working on other patients, he did sloppy work on my tooth and I ended up stopping treatment at this place.

Dr. barrett is a superb dentist... identifies what needs to be done, executes perfectly employing superior skill with anesthesia ... and if a crown or onlay is in your future he fabricates them in the office with very impressive chairside technology. all done, with precise fit, in one visit. the office staff is wonderful: knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable!

Always has the most cutting edge equipment, and is extremely Covid-19 conscious with air purifiers, limited patients and caution. Best dental practice Ive ever experienced.

Experienced Dr. Barretts work for the first time having an onlay done. He was super gentle with the two shots which I barely felt and had no pain afterward. He is super hi-tech and they created the onlay in about 20 minutes so I was in-and-out in less than an hour. Dr. Barrett is doing all my dental work from now on. I really hate going to the dentist, but this was actually the best experience Ive had! I highly recommend him and thank my husband for recommending him.

This second appointment was just as good. Dr. Barrett was as personable as he was professional. And his staff was warm and welcoming. The procedure he performed was very complex and it went well. His caring showed that evening when he called me to make sure I didn’t need any help for post-procedural pain. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Dr. Barrett has been my dentist since 1988. I drive over 20 miles to his office. Along the way I pass many other dental offices.He is the most professional and most personable dentist imaginable.Hes been a faculty member at UCLA for many years and from what I know, is constantly updating his professional knowledge.His staff is excellent and most of them have been with him for years, in some cases, decades.His office is fastidiously clean, also well-scheduled. Rarely do I wait more than a few minutes.Dr. Barrett also knows when to refer a patient to another medical professional, be it for endodonty, periodontal work or anything outside if his practice.I could not recommend him any more highly.

Additionally, the staff and dental hygenists in the office are wonderful! Evelyn is so gentle when doing my dental cleaning that I could fall asleep. Leslie is also wonderful and gentle. His other staff including Mariela, Pat, and Ruth are all so sweet and always willing to help. Everyone made me feel truly comfortable! As always, the dental hygienist was on time, friendly, thorough, and scheduled my next appointment; almost on cue, smiling Dr. Kevin B. stepped right in, checked out the x-rays, and sent me on my way. One doesnt expect a dental experience to be pleasant, but this visit, along with all my others, was indeed relaxing and pleasant. Caught up on the news on the television across from me during the cleaning too!

Dr. Barretts office is there to soak as much cash out of you as possible. Hes probably fine as purely a cosmetic dentist, but he chose to upsell my Partner with Bleaching Trays at $400+ rather than to address any of the 8 cavities he had (as found by another dentist in the same building). This even after explaining to Dr. Barrett our tight budget. I have no doubt that he would have had him back for 8 visits, fixing one cavity at a time and trying to sell some pricey add-on each time. Needless to say, we wont be back and he can keep his bleaching trays.
