Dr Truong is an amazing chiropractor. I’ve had abdominal pain for years, had all the traditional tests done (X-rays, ct scan, blood tests, ultrasound) and all came back negative even though the pain was still present. I also had ciatica like pain down the right leg for 5+ years. I met Dr Truong through a workshop and decided to come in for an exam. This has been on of the best decision I’ve made. I’ve been going to Dr Truong for a little less than 2 months. The pain on my leg disappeared in about 4 visits. The pain in my abdomen has diminished drastically, a few more visits and it should be gone completely. Dr Truong is very knowledgeable and very gentle with the adjustments. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Truong is wonderful. He took extensive x-rays and after one adjustment, my foot which had been slightly turned in since I was born 58 years ago, was healed after one adjustment. He didnt even touch my foot. This was the most amazing thing. It was a miracle healing. I have been getting adjusted for many years but Dr. Truongs is the best! Ive had a mountain biking accident 10 years ago and have been dealing with neck issues since then. I went to a conventional chiropractor before Dr. Truong, and he did the typical neck and spine adjustments. While it did give me short relief, the tension/pain was still there in my neck everyday. After a few sessions with Dr. Truong, there is practically no neck issues and my neck range of motion is a lot better. I would recommend Dr. Truong if you have specific neck issues.

Dr Truong is a amazing Chiropractor who genuinely cares about his patients. He takes his time answering any questions thoroughly. He has helped me immensely with my back pain and migraine headaches that intensified at night. I was miserable and always tired. I couldnt sleep or stay asleep from the discomfort. I had to take sleeping pills if I wanted to get a decent amount of sleep. After the first adjustment I felt a rush of heat in my neck and a immediate relief of pain in my back. I suffered with migraine headaches for over two decades. It all began at age 9 right after I had a high impact car accident where I was the front passenger. The headaches would get so severe that I would have to bang my head against the wall just to numb the pain.My head would feel heavy on my neck. I started receiving Upper Cervical Chiropractic treatment for almost a decade now under Dr. Truongs care. I was referred by my aunt who suffered from debilitating headaches from a auto collision she was in when she was young. Seeing her recover from a lifelong issue like that was enough for me to go in for a check up. I was dealing with chronic neck/back pain as well as sleeping issues. After my first adjustment, I slept like a baby! The neck and back pain took a bit more time but I have improved dramatically! Now I just go to get checked from time to time for maintenance. Such a simple but necessary treatment for anyone!

Cant say enough about upper cervical, and specifically Dr. Truong. Finally a doctor who really takes the effort to know his patients and really get to the root of the problem. Dr Truong is a remarkable upper cervical chiropractor. Ive been to other traditional chiropractors who snap and twist my neck and it felt good for a short period of time but eventually it would cause my neck to be stiff and in more pain. I was referred to Dr. Truong from a good friend who was seeing him at the time. She told me that he could help me with my headaches and neck pain. Ive have had severe migraine headaches and neck pain for several years. Sitting in front of my desk at work for 8 hours everyday was very difficult on my neck. This all happened after a bad car accident where my car was rear-ended while on the freeway. Ive taken pain medication that dont seem to help at all. Stronger prescription medication just made me more nauseous. After a few sessions with Dr. Truong, my headaches and neck pain went away. The amazing thing is that this type of chiropractic care does not involve any harsh twisting or popping of my neck which I didnt care for. His approach is gentle and extremely effective. Great service, really great doctor and staff! I came in with some upper back and neck pain, and Dr. Truong took the time to talk about my aches, took x-rays, and showed that my atlas in my neck (where your head sits) was twisted and bent out of shape. After a few weeks of adjustments, my headaches and pain subsided and I could feel a difference. Not to mention I could breathe better! I give Dr. Truong 10 stars because he is very thorough. Dr. Truong is patient in interacting with me and i as well have witnessed Dr.Truong has patience with his other patients. Before i started going to him I was suffering from severe depression and had pain on the left side of my head and as well my left eye. I am so grateful for upper cervical chiropractic! I initially went there when my doctor recommended them. I looked into it because nothing was helping me with my sports-related injury. It was mostly lower back pain, sciatia pain, and headaches. After just one adjustment my lower back and sciata pain vanished! It flared up a few times after, but it kept decreasing until it went away. The headaches took a bit longer but dramatically reduced! Dr. Truong has worked extensively on a few problem areas--my left hip, right shoulder, and right and left knees. I had chronic stiffness and soreness with pain shooting in my left hip and leg although I was in good health. I run and ref soccer and learned to live with the pain. I was seriously out of alignment.He put me on a three-phase program to get me back in alignment and rehab so my muscles and body would adjust. It wasnt convenient to attend all appts esp during the 1st month but now the improvement is well worth the effort.I can turn my head right and left with no pain and I forget that my left hip ever hurt as much as it did. My knees are fine and I now run and ref soccer freely with almost no stiffness when I start. I do recommend him.

I had a terrible headache on and off for about 2 months. I would sometimes get so dizzy to a point where I couldnt walk well. My headache was dull and it felt as my head was being pressed down. The headache lasted around 20 minutes to 1 hour. I tried visiting the optomologist and the neurologist, but nothing was found wrong. I finally decided to visit the Chiropractor to see if my headache was able to fixed. Dr. Truong told me that my bone was out of place on the upper neck area. He immediately adjusted it and miraculously my headache never came back. Im still amazed and thankful that my headache was able to be fixed through chiropractic treatments.

I’ve been suffering from chronic neck and upper back tension and discomfort that started about 2012 and ramped up after 2013. I’ve tried other clinics using chiropractic adjustments and massage, finding that I had initial stages of degeneration likely from years of computer work. However, most chiropractic and massage therapy the last few years only resulted in temporary relief of symptoms which crept back in within a few hours after sessions and have always worsened again overnight such that I would wake every morning feeling stiff and sore. If you are interested in a more holistic approach to healing, however, other chiropractors and acupuncturists have failed you, you have to set an appt. with Dr. Truong Upper Cervical Chiropractic! I always knew that the western approach to medicine wasnt going to solve the issues I was having that resulted from a few traumatic experiences I had in my life. I went down a long road of trying different chiropractors, acupuncturists, healers, chinese medicines, but nothing was getting to the root of the problem. Intuitively I guess I always knew there was a root cause that traced back to my nervous system. That is why when the upper cervical method, and the concept of the Atlas misalignment was explained to me, it made perfect sense! Thank God. Although some symptoms took longer than others, I felt relief almost immedietely. Dr. Truong was always so attentive to my needs and made me feel safe under his care as well. I cant recommend his practice enough to anyone dealing with any sort of health issues. Let your body heal itself!

I am currently living in Europe. When I visited my sister in Los Angeles, she convinced me to go to Dr. Truongs office with her just to do the free consultation he gives. I am in pretty good health and there isnt anything too wrong with me, but I was alarmed that one of my legs was shorter than the other by almost an inch! When he educated me on how that happens due to a misalignment of the Atlas, I was convinced I needed to get adjusted.He was extremely professional and welcoming and gave me an adjustment that was quick and painless. Receiving upper cervical care, specifically from Dr. Troung has changed my life! A couple years ago I had an incident where my back completely locked up and gave out. It hasnt been the same ever since. If I ever stood for more than an hour I started to get intense lower back pain that would only be relieved if I laid down or if some one picked me up and stretched it out for me. This issue became a huge impedement in my life and if your reading this review, you probably understand the struggle. He could tell right away that there was a structural problem and that my spine was contorting due to a misalignment in my neck. Let me start by saying that upper cervical care has saved my life. I was hit by a car as a pedestrian several years ago and the years that ensued were the most difficult times in my life. The symptoms that I experienced ran the gamut. They included:chronic pain all over, tingling and numbness, memory loss, loss of speech, headaches, nausea, loss of appetite, digestive issues, extreme fatigue, heart palpatations... just to include a few.No human being could live like this and believe in me I tried everything under the sun. I must have tried over 17 different medical approahces and nobody was able to even give me a diagnosis let alone a cure. Things were looking bleak when a uncle of mine suggested upper cervical saying that it cured him of pain after a minor accident a year prior. My parents dragged me there kicking and screaming (not wanting another disapointment). I left the center, however, convinced that I had found the answer. The simplicity and minimally invasive approach seemed too good the be true at first but my atlas did seem to look off on the x ray and countless doctors never commented on my misaligned atlas.I was an extreme case that required extra care and attention and fortunatly Dr. Johhny Troung was up for the challenge. He was very patient with me answering all of my questions and quelling all of my doubts. Due to the severe damage from the automobile accident it took me longer to stabilize than most, but Dr. Troung never once let me lose hope and I am forever indebted to him for that. After a very tumultuous couple months I have finally been holding my adjustments and have almost made a full recovery from all of those symptoms. School and friends are now an option again and life is entering my body once again via my own immune system that has now been unobstructed by a simple adjustment to my atlas. Having been through several auto accidents and sitting with bad posture at work for many years, my body had slowly degraded to the point where I knew I needed some help. Of course I didnt always connect my many symptoms with my Atlas upper cervical area at first. I ended up at Dr. Truongs office really out of desperation as nothing else was helping me feel better. When we explained why how the Atlas is the only vertebrae that isnt interlocked with a bone and can so easily misaligned, I was shocked! The culprit was so obvious but it took this long to get to the source. Seeing how my shoulder and leg lenght evened out immedietly after my adjust (one leg was 3/4 inch shorter than the other), I was convinced this was going to help. SUre enough, my headaches, and neck aches started to alleviate right away. This updated review is way over due.I first went to go see Dr. Troung back in 2011-2012 due to headaches that wouldnt go away. To go see a chiropractor for headaches can seem strange, however these headaches were caused because there was a blockage in my nerves due to being misaligned for many years. Most people are probably misaligned and do not even realize.I was introduced to his practice because my younger brother was a patient of his at the time and still is. He had been in a severe car accident on his bike and the impact from the car to him hitting the sidewalk shook his entire system up. I was a first hand witness to his healing process through Dr. Troung and upper cervical. It wasnt easy at first as his situation was pretty severe and he kept on coming out of placement within days if not hours. I remember him visiting Troung multiple times a day at its worst. After doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 7 years, meedless to say, my body was a mess. Years of rolling and tweaking my neck/ spine has left chronic pain in my neck and sciata area that is sometimes unbearable. I found out about upper cervical treatment in an article in The Californian hearing loss magazine about how it can relieve Menieres Syndrome, which has a wide range of symptoms the most notable of which is a severe loss of balance, vertigo and hearing loss. After being struck from the rear in a car accident I had been having trouble with my balance (I already had severe hearing loss). I went online to find a practitioner of The Blair Method of upper cervical treatment and found Dr. Truong and made a mental note to make an appointment.That week we attended a performance at the Music Center and, as we were walking to the Metro Station, my eyes would not stabilize--- I could not walk by myself at all, my balance was completely gone. My husband had to help me to the train and once we got home the only way I could stabilize my vision was to sit staring down at my knees to keep from being nauseous. I was completely incapacitated -I couldnt do anything for myself--my world wasnt spinning, it was jumping all over the place. I had some meds for dizziness and that got me through the night. First thing in the morning I made an appointment with Dr. Truong.Immediately after the first treatment I went from a basket case that practically had to be carried into his office to walking and functioning normally. Meeting Doctor Truong was one of the best things that happened in my life. I suffered from depersonalization and derealization and with that super strong anxiety, including several panic attacks a day, all of this for more than a year and nothing would solve.
