I was referred to Dr Allen Bonilla DC (Los Angeles, CA) because he practices a very unique (and effective) method of spinal alignment called Advanced Biostructural Correction. I have S Curve Scoliosis, and severe pain every day. When I arrived for my first appointment with Dr Bonilla today, he had already reviewed my medical history and the X-Rays which I submitted yesterday. Then he asked me many questions, to assess the degree and source of my pain - and more - to fully understand the situation. He really listened, without rushing! He evaluated my structural imbalances and even pinpointed painful spots (in my neck) that I truly had not even identified myself. He is gifted. During that first session, I felt that he cared and was laser-focused on figuring out how to treat the source of my pain. Before he conducted various alignment techniques and chiropractic adjustments, he explained each one to me. Ive been worn down by tremendous pain for many years - but I left his clinic genuinely excited - with real hope for a pain-free future. Wow! What a experience. I walked into Dr. Bonilla’s office with pretty bad back and neck pain. It had been happening for months now. He not only helped me exceptionally, but explained to be in details what he was doing. I walked out of there feeling so much better and understanding what my body needed. Cant say enough about Dr. Bonilla and how much he has helped me identify problem areas in my body and form a long-term plan for posture improvement. Im a desk worker and over the years experienced worsening symptoms of neck and back pain, with a deep knot thats always there in the same spot behind my shoulder blade. I used to get massages but they only offered a temporary relief, and these issues are deeply rooted and were affecting other parts of my body and even my sleep. Dr. Bonilla is awesome!I have always been concerned about my posture. Ive tried different methods of fixing it, but I didnt see any results. After some research, I found Dr. Bonilla, and immediately made an appointment to get adjusted.During the first appointment, he listened to all of my concerns and was very knowledgeable. (He was even able to locate where my back pain was without me telling him!)I have been going weekly to get adjusted, and after just two adjustments, I was able to see results! My posture was definitely looking better. After THREE adjustments, my family and friends were starting to notice the improvement in my posture. Dr. Bonilla is the best chiropractor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.Why?I came for neck pain, brain fog, disassociation all stemming from a car accident. NOTHING was helping me even 3 months after the accident.Turns out my neck healed incorrectly and was locked in place which was causing all of my mental and physical symptoms. Dr. Bonilla is amazing. I have been a dancer/ yoga /fitness person for many years I was in a bad place with Sciatic pain such that my leg went numb a few times getting up out of bed and I would almost fall. It took consistent visits in the beginning but Dr Bonilla explained his technique and the process to correct issues that others could not. I live two hours away but Dr. Bonilla was worth the trip. I followed him to his present location which is a nice place and cool area of LA. He also helped my husband and son ( tennis player and swimmer)with their posture and other issues( carpal tunnel). Highly recommended.

This guy is the baddest chiro around. Im not playing. He will have the problem figured out in a matter of minutes if not seconds. There isnt a regular chiro around who can come close. I had tightness in my neck and upper back for a long time. After having an adjustment with Dr Bonilla last year I felt much better. I started to get adjustments more often, and the motion on my left side increased, and was not so tight anymore. Dr Bonilla can tell where your pain is, and has many techniques to fix it. Did 4 treatments of endonasal conrrection with Dr Bonilla good results so far corrected my bite that was out place from wisdom tooth removal , getting good results for my deviated septum so far, two more left!

I am so thankful I found Dr. Bonilla . I had seen several chiropractors over the last couple years , a physical therapist but my neck & spine issues continued . Not only was I spending a lot of money but I was not seeing any improvement or getting any relief. Unable to get a good nights rest in over 3 years was becoming a hopeless situation . I searched for an alternative in desperation when I discovered Advanced Biostructural Correction aka ABC technique . I work with Dr. Bonilla and I am ALSO his patient. His clients range in ages from 14 years old - that need help with sports injuries to well over 60. I see his clients transform immediately - sometimes one visit is all they need - others choose a more long term approach to injuries that are simply not quick fixes. My posture has improved greatly as has my back pain. I cannot speak highly enough of him as an incredible professional who truly cares about his patients and their well being.

I have been to two different chiropractors before Dr. Bonilla, one was pretty good and the other not so good. That being said, I am glad I found Dr. Bonilla. I originally went in when I though I was having a muscle spasm and thought I would get a massage and the ultrasound machine because thats what the other doctor had done on it last time. Dr. Bonilla told me he didnt use massage or any machines and that he would align my body and that would bring it to a natural balance and the muscle spasm would go away on its own. I really didnt think this was going to work because Ive had this problem so many times and the only thing that worked before was the massage and pain killers. Anyways, he seemed pretty honest so I said I would give it a try. Pretty amazing, when he was done I was totally standing straighter! My body felt light! The muscle spasm went away a lot faster than it did the times before and now my always tight shoulder are relaxed and when I stand I stand up straight which is the best part.

I know a lot about chiropractics because my brother in law I a chiropractor (in Arizona) so he told me to make sure I found a chiropractor that did Advanced Biostructural Corrections. Now I realize why. After working on me Dr. Allen Bonilla was able to totally change my body. I didnt even realize that I couldnt turn my neck all the way- I thought that was normal!!! Also, not even related to that he found out that I was on medications so he recommended natural stuff and now I think pretty soon I will be completely off of most of my mediccations. Good riddance! Wow! Life with no headaches! Im going to have to get used to this... Dr. Allen Bonilla is so easy to deal with and so relaxed you think he might not be up to the job but once I started talking about the problems I had he was able to discuss the medications and MRIs and other treatments like he was an expert in all those fields... Also at the first visit he felt my back and once he starts touching you you KNOW that he knows what he is doing. He was able to push on the areas that hurt and TELL ME how they felt! This is the longest Ive gone now with no migraines and only one mild headache and I cant believe it. If you really want to get off medications or find out why where your problems are really coming from I recommend you come and get an exam from Dr. Bonilla.

I could not be more grateful for Dr. Bonilla. He is very knowledgeable and has a great passion for his craft. I had originally went to Dr. Bonilla to treat my costochondritis; I have also benefited greatly in other problem areas of my body. Although I still have costochondritis, it is nothing near what it was before I went to Dr. Bonilla. I had previously seen other chiropractors and they had no idea on how to treat it or how it even develops. Dr. Bonilla however, explained to me the possibilities of the development but also treatment for it. Cannot say enough about him and his practice. I am constantly looking for an experienced and highly recommended chiro (years of being poorly hunched over a computer and wrist pain) in my area and a few weeks back I was recommended Dr. A Bonilla by my personal care physician. I set up an appointment and I was in there the same week! It was a very comfortable atmosphere and what I liked best was that he was all about trying to find out exactly what was bothering me...not just trying to apply some blanket approach to long-term back pain. He was able to identify subluxations in my spine, did the proper adjustments and even recommended exercises and diet options to help with long-term pain.
