First of all, Laurie responds to phone messages in a very timely way. And unless youre trying to get a sitter one hour before New Years Eve, she always comes through with a sitter - even if you need one a few hours from NOW. HopSkipDrive hasnt figured out how to do that one yet. The people that work for Laurie are professional, courteous, and they always bring games, books, cards, etc., to keep the youngsters entertained, just in case your kid is tired of the same ol same ol that they play with day in and out. Oh yes, and let me not forget to mention the best - my home, especially my KITCHEN, is ALWAYS neater than when I left it. Laurie and staff actually pick up after themselves, and she has helped me instill gentle discipline in my kids, in leaving a room neater than when you found it. I cannot recommend Laurie Klein and the Babysitters Agency of West Los Angeles (formerly of Santa Monica!) highly enough.
