Be sure to call ahead, preferably a day in advance, but the same day is fine. The haircut is very high quality for the price and I’ve never been disappointed. Great place!

Ive been going to Mon Petit for over 5 years now, since I was a student at UCLA! Even though I live on the Eastside now, Im more than happy to make the trek to Westwood whenever I need a cut -- Sarah is so sweet, warm and her prices are truly...unbeatable. JUST FYI -- I just went today 9/23/20, and the salon is open again (we both wore masks and were the only ones in the salon)! Give her a call if you want an incredibly affordable, great haircut!!!!

I love Sahra! She is such a sweet lady!This place has become my go to place for haircuts now. For only $20 (mens haircut), it is one of the most reasonably priced hair salons you will find in West LA.She always greets you with a smile, and boy, can she cut hair! Im not much of a talker, so when she does my hair, it only takes 15-20 min, and I am done. So fast and easy. Whats not to love?Like all places, there are a couple of caveats:1. This place is cash only. So please make sure to bring enough for the tip, as well.2. There is no parking lot - the street parking isnt free, and it could get crowded depending on the day and the time you visit.If, like me, you dont mind either of those caveats, then you should definitely pay her a visit.One last thing: she only takes appointments over the phone, usually the day of or the day before, so dont call too far ahead.

Sahra was very sweet and did a really great job cutting my hair. She was happy to adjust the cut when I wanted it a bit shorter as well. I was looking for someone trustworthy to cut my hair after eight years with a lady back home, and I think I found her! For only 20$, it is really worth it. You wont get a shampoo, but if youre looking for a low frills haircut, this is perfect.

Our son gets his hair cut here by Nelson. He is a great stylist and always does exactly the right cut! The place is clean and Nelson is always prompt! The staff are all friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Mon Petit!

My girlfriend got her hair done here some time ago and told me the next time I get a hair cut I should come here because she had a great time with an even better outcome. So I did and The main ( perhaps the only) hair dresser is awesome!!! Her personality is the perfect combination of friendly and professional!!! Overall I found my go-to hair place!!

The lady is really sweet. One of the best haircuts Ive gotten in a very long time. Shes very efficient. I would however recommend making an appointment beforehand. You dont want to show up and get on her bad side. Shes ok if you walk in and are willing to wait though. All together - I would highly recommend this place

I called in asking if she accepted walk-ins, and she told me shed work me in if I dropped by as soon as possible. 5 minutes later, I was in her chair! The worst customer services and so rude !I have shown up twice but she rudely kicked me out! First time I reached there at 5:55, even-though the door was open and she had no other customers she refused to do haircut and told me I have to show up sooner and not the very last minutes! Two days later, I went there at 5:30! This time she recognized me and told me IT IS YOU AGAIN !! I am leaving and can do the haircut. YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT she shouted at me like this. how rude you can be to behave like this to a customer!Not professional, not polite! Not recommended at all !

Sahra is the best hairdresser in the greater LA area. Every time Ive come for a haircut, Im always surprised at how good it looks. Youd think Id come to expect an exceptional cut after a few times, but every single time Im impressed.As a guy with short hair, even when I get a great haircut at other places, it always ends up with that I just got a haircut look for several days until things even out. Sahra is a master of her craft and somehow gives a great haircut that looks natural every single time. Shes really good at listening and giving you what you want if youre looking to change up your style or go a little shorter or longer too.Mon Petit is a tiny little shop, and the only hairdresser is Sahra, the owner and operator. As such, its cash only, and youll need to call ahead because shes always booked up. If youre looking for an overpriced haircut by a super cool LA hair artist wholl tell you what rad new style you should try, go somewhere else. If youre looking for a place that serves you beer and waxes your hipster mustache, go somewhere else. If youre looking for a great haircut for a reasonable price, look no further than Mon Petit.

Im in from Chicago and my daughter-in-law, who had to be at work, dropped me off at Sahrahs salon at 8:30 a.m., an hour before my appointment. Even though Sahrah wasnt ready for her first customer that early, she insisted I sit down and asked me what I wanted done. My hairs too long but I dont want a short cut. Just a trim. With those meager instructions, in 20 minutes Sahrah had transformed me from unkempt to kempt, from haggard and ragged to chic, from boring to elegant. And as she snipped, she told me the wonderful story of her journey to America. We are so fortunate she stayed here. I would come again from Chicago to get my hair cut by Sahrah. She is an artist.

The owner or ( im not sure ) in there told me she only does hair drying for customers she was extremely ( Racist ) and she added that she doesnt offer haircuts , she treated me and my sister with a lot of disrespect and rudeness it was a bad experience for me doesnt deserve a high evaluation.
