Impression Hair Salon does a remarkable job of being both welcoming and extremely professional. While everyone on the team brings years of experience, a keen eye for cutting and styling, and a professional manner well beyond most salons; you can also feel at home there. This is so much the case that even when living in other cities, I would move my schedule around to get my hair cut during visits to Los Angeles.

Best salon in the city, I would recommend Danny for haircuts and literally anyone for color. Everyone is so friendly, customer service is over the roof and the results are the best. Danny is great to have convos with while he styles you up. And their hair products are my favorite. It is a pricey salon, but worth it.

Ive been living in Los Angeles for 6 years and have yet to find a stylist until I randomly booked last minute with OZ. Shes the stylist that you can say I trust you and she just takes it from there. Shes down to earth and knows what she is doing. Have not left there disappointed. Book with her, so worth it!

The studio is modern, clean, and quiet. Yuri is just amazing. Technically proficient and creative, she styles my short hair into flattering on-trend looks. She pays attention to detail and makes me feel heard when I describe my often amorphous hair-wants. I never leave without a sassy haircut that I love!

I was on the hunt for a new hairstylist after my previous one had decided to take a break from doing hair. Thankfully I found Jessica! I booked an appointment with her to update my balayage( it had been a while since Id colored my hair) and she did a fantastic job. I would recommend Jessica to everyone.

Went to this salon by chance because I desperately needed a color correction after several years of dyeing my hair black. I am so happy I found this salon! They helped my hair get back to a honey brown, but also with minimal damage. They talked me through the process, and despite my whining of not wanting to take too long, they were patient with me. Most importantly, they were very gentle with my hair.

I absolutely adore Jessica. She is not only the sweetest, but she truly listens. She lets me explore new color options without the commitment (like the amazing Pink we did last time). Next time I go in, we are going to really get down to business. The best part is, she spent the added time to teach me how to curl my own hair. Seriously! What a sweetheart.

Make sure you book with Lizette Rodriguez, she is a master at what she does, she could have easily cashed me in for something that would have destroyed my hair but she was honest and I trusted her and the process and she astonished me. Five stars for her and the salon. Such a mellow friendly place .

Ive been seeing Chaiki for years. Ive never left unhappy. She is honest and truly passionate about what she does. Id recommend her to any one for color and cut.

First time at Impression today and I am impressed with the service received. My stylist was Chiaki and she was very attentive and really listened to what I wanted. My color needed updating and a haircut too. She was very patient in helping me decide the right way to update my color and went over several hair color options. She was very efficient getting everything done in 2 hours. My last hair appointment took a total of 10 hours over a span of 2 days with another stylist in Westwood and charged me double what my bill came to today. Impression gives you great pricing with free parking, Japanese style service that includes a scalp, shoulder, neck and back massage. Its for a few minutes only but its the little things that make this place special. The products used are first rate as well. If youve never tried a Japanese hair salon, go to Impression!

The owners are nice, the dogs are excellent and well priced, and their patio is exceptional (Relaxing atmosphere with cool music). I had the corndog and hot dog with egg, bacon, and tater tots. Both were incredible, well cooked, and full of flavor. The batter on the corndog was crunchy which I like so my final verdict on Impression is I will be back!!

I went in for a cut with Chiaki and she could not have been more lovely and knowledgeable. I dont often cut my hair because the idea scares me, but Chiaki showed me that I can achieve healthy, beautiful hair without sacrificing length. I am so glad I went to her and will definitely be coming back for a cut and color next time! I love my new cut!

Oh. My. God. I could not be happier with my cut from this stylish, friendly salon. Chiaki understood exactly the asymmetrical style I was looking for and gave me a beautiful, bouncy, stylish but not excessively trendy look. She shampooed, cut, styled, rinsed, blow dried, added a very interesting Japanese hard wax and gave me a scalp and shoulder massage for less than Ive paid for a simple cut at other salons. If youre looking for an amazing salon experience for way below the normal price, youve found it.The first picture is right outside, the second is at the Hammer Museum, after walking about 25 minutes through windy streets. I dont think my face really looks that fat, for the record but the selfie camera distorts it. Regardless, thats both sides of the cut.

Chiaki is very professional and gave me a fabulous cut and color after consulting with me. He also encouraged me to try some Kerastase product on my hair to restore it, as I tend to torture my head with curlers and dryers.
