Walked in right at open and was immediately sat for a haircut. Angie was my stylist and was super sweet and did a fantastic job on my hair. For $18 (remember cash!), it was one of the best hair cuts ive received since moving to California in May. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

For the same haircut in a high end establishment, I would be charged upwards of $50 or more. For $20, including tip, I got my hair washed and detailed to perfection by Ms. Esther herself. I will drop her a nice big tip the next time I am in.

He has a knack for knowing what will look good while taking into account your opinions and lifestyle. He is also such a genuine and kind person that it is a real pleasure to chat with him while hes cutting my hair.

I said dont cut the length of the bangs at all. She then cut the length of my bangs 2 seconds later. An 8 year old understands directions better. Also the first time I was there I used the word fade and was charged 3 extra dollars. This time I didnt use the word fade but my hair was cut the same and didnt have to pay the extra $3. Apparently u have to be very specific but not too specific.

Angie is the best! I get a $50 haircut for $12. I travel from the valley just to have her make me look great within 15 minutes.

I have been going to Highlife for years and Esther is great - good haircuts for a very good price!!

Service was great. I began to sweat and the hair dresser saw that and immediately cooled down the air con, closed the door and put up a fan under the cover cloth.

I asked for 3 fingers off from my lenth and she took six. She asked me if it was ok to you razor, I said ok thinking she would youse poit cutting scissor combo. No. She used purely razor. I look like an extra fluffy emo kid. And to top it off when she turned me around to see the hair cut their was a giant choppy line in my hair. I asked her to blend it and she claimed it was my wavy hair. I have frizzy hair. Nobetheless I urged her to fix it because when I straighten my hair it will show like a step. She took tge thining shear and fixed it. My experience was not a great one. I hope after this review, the lady at the first station on the right, starts to do her work properly. Tge way I was treated showed nothing more than lazyness and did I mention she didnt even cut my hair with a clean razor! I saw her just blow the hair from the previous client off. I gigured she was going to use a new razor but noo
