Amazing facility, my mother lives at this facility and she loves it. The food is amazing, the facility is overstaffed and the games are amazing!!! Not sure about the alley, but now the alley is extremely clean. Love love love this facility!!!

I visited my uncle at Promise Assisted Living yesterday and I was happy to see that he is no longing living alone like before. When I walked in, a staff was just having a conversation with him but my uncle looked really happy. Im really glad he has people looking after him since my cousins dont live close by. My uncle is pretty much on his own but he said that there is always someone at the premise if he needs help. I just wish this place was closer to where I live so I could visit him more often.

I have got my own bedIts nice because there is always someone around to help you do what you need to do. Breakfast, lunch, dinner its all good. Ive got my bathroom twice the size as the one i had at the outher place i was staying. Wall to wall carpeting, its the guts to much.

Promise is terrible. Do not consider using it, do not waste your time. It is severely understaffed. When I arrived to check my father in yesterday, it was totally different than what I had seen and been told about it. There was a man sitting outside in a wheelchair yelling for help to get back inside of the building. We went inside and there was no one, I mean no one, around. There was no receptionist at the front desk. We walked around and we waited. After about 15 minutes, a young man appeared from upstairs carrying a mop bucket. He looked exhausted. He said that he had not had time to make my fathers bed but that he would do that next. He was the only caretaker for 15 residents, one of whom we could see was in bed with a full oxygen mask. There were no other caretakers present, no nurse, no doctor, no cook, no housekeeper, no receptionist, just this one very young and exhausted man. There was no supervisor. My dad had hospital equipment provided by our insurance company which had been set up in a noisy front room, which was not the room that we had selected and were told that we could have. Needless to say, we could not leave my father there. When I called the person who had delivered my dads equipment to bring it elsewhere, he spontaneously stated that he too had been surprised that there was almost no staff. I know that assisted living facilities may vary widely in terms of cleanliness, friendliness, and other things that may be harder to quantify but there must be a bottom line requirement for the staff to resident ratio. I am not sure if what they had at Promise yesterday was legal. It was bad, it was shameful, as I said, do no not waste your time with this severely understaffed place.

Behind the building is an alley that’s visible and has a huge homeless encampment with rats. This alley is so dirty and smells of urine and feces it’s insane and disgusting.......
