Denise is not only the best acupuncturist I have ever received treatment from, but she introduced me to cupping therapy. She is the consummate professional - thorough, helpful and with a very keen sense of what works for her patients. I took advantage of a free session at Robert Youngs Acupuncture in Century City. Even entering the place was great. I was greeted by lovely Tibetan bells and meditation music, a very peaceful atmosphere, and they had the most delicious ginger chews to enjoy as I waited. The Acupuncturist gave me more than half an hour of acupuncture and it was so relaxing, just what I needed. Not too many places in Los Angeles will give you such a long free session. Or even a paid one. It took all my stress away.

I always look forward to my acupuncture appointments at Robert Youngs. The acupuncturists are so knowledgeable and helped me out with my stress levels and shoulder pain. About three months ago, I began acupuncture with Denise for TMJ jaw and face pain and terrible headaches. The treatments already have helped me so much; Ive only had two headaches that were less painful and they went away much more quickly.Im now also getting acupuncture for stress, low back pain, and weight loss/appetite suppressant. While I was really skeptical, I have already seen a real improvement. And cupping has also greatly helped loosen my tight back muscles.And Denise is amazing! Ive gone to Robert Young Acupuncture for about 4 months now and I get acupuncture and also cupping with Steven Han. Hes amazing at what he does and I really enjoy it when he walks through with what he is doing. I havent tried anyone else just because of schedule conflicts but I love that I have Steven early in the morning to start my busy retail weekend with cupping/acupuncture. I always feel so lifted and free from the session. We tried electrolysis as well and whewww when my shoulders were feeling free right after it was much needed indeed! Have been going to this office in search of someone to help me with a constant back and neck issue. This has been the only place that has listened to me and given me some pain relief. I started going to Denise at Robert Youngs recently for acupuncture and Im a big fan! Ive been going to help with hormone balancing/fertility and stress and pain reduction. Shes also done cupping which was great. Cute and comfortable space, very fair pricing and convenient location! Havent tried their herbs yet (other than some Charlottes Web CBD gummies) but am open to adding them in based on her recommendation.

Doctor Youngs is a miracle worker. I came to see him suffering from long covid and his weekly Acupuncture and Cupping treatments made a huge difference in how quickly I recovered. I began seeing Steve for TMJ pain and general acupuncture treatment a few months back and it has been so beneficial! I live in Culver City and their office is easy to find and park at - you cant beat the location right in the middle of the city. I do acupuncture treatment, e-stim treatment on the TMJ, and cupping on my back. I noticed results almost immediately and it has helped immensely with the pain. Their office is very COVID safe and clean. I cannot recommend them highly enough - my experience has been fantastic.And to top it all off, the ginger candy in the bowl at the front desk is bomb :)

I have been going to this place for slightly over a month. I made my appointment over email, which is terrific for someone who never has time to make phone calls, and it was BEYOND easy. I saw Robert on first session (and continuous) and he took time to explain to me how the process works, the benefits, and was very intently listening as we were looking to the solution to my pain and gave great advice on how to help him help myself. And being an acupuncture virgin, all this was important to me.I do acupuncture or acupuncture with cupping! The results have been fantastic. I had shoulder pain and knee pain and I feel so much better. The Knee pain is literally gone and my shoulder is beyond what I was when I went in. It’s hard to find a good acupuncturist in LA, you don’t know who to trust. I was so happy to find Robert Young’s spot. Alec took great care of me. My low back and shoulder pain resolved within a few days due to the cupping. I have never felt so much relief like that! Not even from going to the chiropractor. I began with Paloma, and due to my shifting schedule I have seen every acupuncturist and massage therapist there with no problems. The tea is hot, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly, and each visit is pleasant.

Robert Youngs has saved my life. Im a high-strung anxious person that has trouble sleeping due to my racing thoughts. Im currently a UCLA grad student, and school can be pretty stressful. I trued drinking herbal tea and yoga to handle it all, but it wasnt enough. Plus Ive had terrible insomnia since moving to LA.I came in initially super anxious and scared to do treatments, but I had heard such positive reviews from my classmates so I decided to give it a go. I have NEVER done acupuncture or cupping, but I was desperate to relax. Right away Steve made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe. I asked to do acupuncture and cupping. He also gave me sleeping and stress herbs to help with my insomnia and anxiety. While I didnt feel much of a difference initially, I felt muscle tension releasing at the end of the day.After my second visit, the results were incredible. Ive had a good nights sleep and have had A LOT less neck and upper back pain. I have been going to this place almost for a month. I saw Robert on first session and he took time to go through all my concern carefully. I had severe Jaw pain which is making me nauseated, and anxiety problem. He treated me carefully and gave me lots of great advice. Not only is very knowledgeable about herbs and Acupuncture but he also has a varied and deep life experience that he brings to his healing and this makes it very easy to trust him. Robert is fantastic, highly recommended. A few months ago, I decided to try acupuncture for the first time as a way to help manage stress. I definitely notice a huge difference and I havent stopped going since. Its also helped a lot for shoulder/back pain where I tend to carry stress. Robert is fantastic. I had never had acupuncture treatment before seeing him, so I was a bit nervous, but he walked me through every step of the way, and was (and continues to be) infinitely patient with my many questions. Ive only been seeing him for a month, and already my menstrual cramps are almost entirely alleviated, and my sciatica/piriformis issues are hugely improved. Robert goes to great lengths to explain what is going on with my body and why, and genuinely cares about alleviating any issues I have. (And doesnt mind when I pile new ones on.) I have had a wonderful experience with Robert, and couldnt recommend him - and acupuncture - more.

I have been in the western medical field now for almost 25 years and sought out acupuncture to compliment my current wellness and health plan but now from a much different angle than I am used to scientifically approaching these needs. Everyone that works here is absolutely awesome! I have done both acupuncture and a massage and already have two sessions booked again! I was nervous about acupuncture at first, but right when Alec started placing the needles, I honestly did not feel a thing. Acupuncture is incredibly relaxing and the massage really helped my neck. Himanshu, the assistant responsible for booking all appointments responds to me immediately and always does a follow up to make sure the treatments have gone well. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. This place is a needle in a haystack :)

I started going to Dr. Youngs for a myriad of issues and since going at least once a week I feel so much better! Every week when things come up hes able to treat it, whether Im especially anxious that week or I hurt my back. Hes incredibly sincere and genuinely cares about his patients.I would recommend Robert to anyone and everyone, especially since he takes insurance! I also happened to start working with him while I was changing insurance plans and he introduced me to an insurance broker who helped me pick the right plan at no charge!I am so grateful to a friend who recommended me to Dr. Youngs. I have nothing but positive things to say. Besides helping me with some pesky chronic back pain issues, Robert actively wants to improve my life beyond why I initially came to him. He also wants to work with all his patients in a way that kind of feels like you have a teammate for your health. And he does it in a way that isnt invasive, but rather encouraging and empowering. Having the chance to work with someone who truly believes in the whole part of holistic is nice, and I hope to be a patient of his for some time.

I’ve been going to Robert Youngs Acupuncture for several weeks and every time I am amazed at how much my body improves, during the secession and in the days after. Tara has been incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at her art. She took the time to ask me about all my emotional baggage and health issues and has worked with me to alleviate them. I experienced childhood trauma, and was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Hashimoto disease a severe wheat allergy and Lupus....I have been sleeping much easier since starting treatment and haven’t had nightmares like I used to. The second part of the session is cupping and it feels like the best massage you ever had! I’ve had a tonnn of body work and tried pretty much everything and this is the ticket! Every secession leaves me feeling blissful and gliding in flow state. So grateful to have found this mecca of healing!!

My absolute favorite. Robert has a deep understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine and all its facets- acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition and my favorite- cupping! I hurt my back really badly and had great difficulty walking and within 2 sessions at Robert Youngs I started to get enough relief to walk better. They are very pleasant and the environment is very relaxing.

I highly recommend Robert Youngs Acupuncture! I have a herniated disc in my lower back (L4 and L5), and going for regular acupuncture has helped to treat my chronic pain. Cupping has also helped to alleviate the stress I carry in my neck and shoulders due to intense working hours. I also have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, due to which my menstruation cycle is irregular. However, ever since I started going for acupuncture at Robert Youngs, they have become regular. Moreover, the acupuncturists. Steve and Alec, are very knowledgable, professional, and caring, and I feel very safe while getting treatment from them. This is definitely one of the best clinics if you are looking for acupuncture and massage therapy on the West side!

I came to Dr. Young thru much research and reading reviews. I hadnt tried acupuncture until recent years, I was skeptical about it at first, but after actually seeing the results and the improvements I had from acupuncture I began to realize the good it does for me. Anyone that knows me can attest that I am a skeptical person and is not easy to convince me to believe things that are not backed by western medicine, so this was a big step for me.I have been working with Dr. Young for over a year, he is very professional doing acupuncture treatments and cupping for me on a weekly basics. He really works on the areas I needed and always went to extra mile to treat me! On one occasion he has even stayed back to do a cupping treatment on me as I was in need of it. This gesture really showed me how much he cares for me as a patient. On other occasions he has helped with pain relief by applying heat patches on the affected areas,after an acupuncture treatment. He has used these patches a few times without me even having to ask for it which was much appreciated. Even giving me a patch to take home and use it for another day.He makes sure I am comfortable, as well with using a heat lamp on affected areas which helps. After going to acupuncture for many months, I decided after much contemplation to finally try the Chinese medicine capsules. It really took me along time to be comfortable with taking the capsules. Once I started to take the capsules I began to see the benefits and positive effects. Before I started to have the capsules for my skin which was not clear, after taking the capsules my skin cleared up and is looking healthy. I am happy that I tried the capsules as they have really worked well for my skin!I have recommended Dr. Young to friends who have asked me about acupuncture, and the benefits I have gained since doing it. I have notice as well as others, that there has been such a positive change in me and I feel so much better! Thank you Dr. Young!

I was as skeptical as they come to Eastern Medicine and Dr Young and his team CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I have been seeing Samantha since January 2017 and my body has felt at its peak! I have been battling some personal issues and every time I go to my appt, all the issues fall away for the half hour as I escape to another world. I have been receiving acupuncture and cupping treatments from Robert and Samantha for about 2-3 months now and it has been fantastic! As a student, I have a lot of tension around my neck and back areas and the treatments have really helped with the tension. I was always afraid of cupping, for some reason even more so than acupuncture, but after trying it, Ive become addicted! I absolutely love it. Robert and Samantha are super friendly and easy to talk to. During the first session, they ask a lot of questions about your body/health experiences that I feel are often overlooked at my physicals with an MD. They are both very knowledgable and provide a lot of information/advice on how to develop healthy lifestyles, along with their treatments.Massage therapy is also an option! Christine, Tina, and Alberto are all amazing! I have received massages at other places such as the korean spa, but I feel like the massages here are on a whole other level. They really know a lot about the human body and apply this knowledge to their effective massages. All in all, it has been a great experience! I definitely recommend coming here! The clinic is also very clean and they offer free ginger, honey, lemon tea that is deliciousRoberts dog, Dakota, is also such a sweet heart. If you are a dog lover, youre in for a pleasant welcoming :)

Robert is terrific! I could not have been happier to have gone here. I didnt know what I was getting into. I decided to try acupuncture to help with my chronic shoulder pain - and Robert, who I found through a referral - took amazing care of me from the start. He has very extensive knowledge of how the body works, and I cant wait to start doing more treatments with him. Robert is a thorough and informed practitioner of Chinese medicine. I feel like he really takes time. He makes eye contact. He queries about the smallest details and gauges your situation. I would highly recommend Dr. Youngs (and often do!). I started going to see him after a car accident left me with severe pain. I had been to see a chiropractor and had gotten a little relief, but it wasnt until I started get acupuncture, cupping, e-stim and moxa from Dr. Youngs that my pain really started to go away quickly and I gained full mobility again. It was also great for the stress I was under due to the wreck and insurance, bills, etc. Every visit was a relief.He even gave me some herbal capsules and a topical (at no charge), he said he just wanted me to get better. Hes very good at what he does and also has a big heart.He takes insurance and has a really lovely office in Beverly Hills, very easy to get to. If youre really lucky, you might even get to have a treatment on the rare occasion when his beautiful dog is there.Robert Youngs has changed my life. Ive had chronic neck and shoulder pain for as long as I can remember, but recently its worse than its ever been. I came here to get acupuncture, which Ive been to several other places for before, but Robert combined acupuncture with a number of different techniques that I feel are truly helping my pain.Treatment:He combined acupuncture with e-stim (electric stimulation), infrared heat, herbal patches, & cupping. And what I love is that he explains exactly what hes doing and the purpose of each thing so you understand the effect that each treatment has on your body.Office:The office is a small brown door that can be easy to miss, but look for the ivy-covered brick surrounding a green window. Inside the office is an immediate feel of tranquility and I love that Im always greeted by the sweetest pup, Dakota.Tip:On your way out, pour yourself a cup of the yummy ginger tea. Mmmm :)

Robert Youngs is really an incredible acupuncturist. I came to him, at first, for hormone regulating treatments, and I was surprised at how comfortable I felt telling him the personal female details of my health history. He put me at ease instantly, just being in his presence it is obvious that he is a real professional. My hormone issues (that Id had for years!) were regulated, and eventually I saw him for a few injuries. The needling and cupping he did made a huge difference in my pain levels! I couldnt recommend Dr. Youngs more!

Upon entrance, you are greeted with an immediate sense of comfort. In the form of the most adorable therapy dog ever. The interior is spacious and has great Feng Shui. The staff is extremely attentive and professional but makes you feel at home at the same time. I got acupuncture for stress and boy did it work. Felt like I was at a spa. Came in another session for a massage and it was heavenly as well.Best of all, as a UCLA student with UCSHIP my acupuncture was 100% covered. I did not have to pay a dime!
