I went for a routine exam, which found something abnormal and required a colposcopy. After several phone calls from their office, I was told they finally talked with the insurance company, and that everything was covered. So we did the procedure. After the procedure, I got 3 different bills totaling almost $700. The girl at the front desk said she doesnt know why, as the insurance told her it was covered. She filed a claim. I called back several times to ask for an update, but there was not one. After that, there were no more phone calls. Fast forward 5 months, I am getting a bill in the mail threatening to take me to collections. I called the office to ask about it, as I thought they had it taken care of. Dr. Barrett came on the phone telling me they went above and beyond for me more than any other company would ever do, and all I ever do is call and complain, and there is NO way they told me it was all covered, and they tell all patients about the extra lab fee (I can guarantee you, I would not have done the procedure if they had told me that). Extremely unprofessional. While in the office both times, there was a lot of complaining from her about their switch in labs, which is why Im not surprised I am having issues with the billing. Just go to a place with more staff, and a better reputation

Ive been seeing Dr. Barrett for 23+ years. She is an excellent physician who allows plenty of time for each appointment. Never have to wait or never feel rushed. She is very thorough. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Barrett is wonderful. I always feel comfortable and not judged when I go in for a visit. She and her staff are very welcoming. I have moved 40 minutes away but still keep her as my doctor.

Seriously the most attentive doctor I have ever had. Dr. Barrett worked with my primary care physician and also liaised with a specialist in my behalf. She personally called my pharmacy to ensure I had a prescription I needed because it was over a weekend and she was concerned about access. I have been increasingly impressed with her demonstration of care, for my overall wellbeing. Definitely recommend her.

Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this doctor. The level of sarcasm and inappropriate comments made shows the lack of bedside manners this doctor has.

Dr barrett took over an hour with me at my consultation. She really listened and took my concerns to heart. Post op surgery went great. So glad to be a patient.
