I recently purchased a duplex in Longmont and used Colorados Finest Heating and Air Conditioning. They were professional, courteous, flexible, and performed quality work at a reasonable price.I initially used them to provide an assessment for inspection objection during closing on the property. I actually worked with 3 different companies and COs Finest was the most thorough and ultimately useful. These old furnaces had to go!I decided to choose them for furnace replacement in both units based on personal recommendations and a competitive bid on materials and installation.As closing approached, they were able to schedule replacement/installation the furnaces very quickly. Then as we hit challenges in closing, they were flexible in setting new installation dates.On the actual day of service, they were prompt, did great work, and also cleaned up and provided instruction on the new system. They worked quickly and I have been very satisfied since.Highly recommend!

Honestly at first I figured this was going to be one of those companys who want to plus sell you or would cut corners to get the job done. When we first got the quote, the guy was nice, friendly, and wore his mask. When we applied for financing and didnt get a reply back, we got an email wanting to discuss things and it got it all set up. When we did the final conformation of parts,bathe lady I was talking to didntbtry to up sell me and when I asked about thermostats she mentioned one and when I said no, she didnt push the issue. Day of install comes and the guys who were here were amazing. They got everything done and installed in one day, didnt leave any trash and they were always more then happy to explain. Plus, the guys who came to my house didnt have an issue with a dog, hes a bulky breed and it was really nice seeing people who didnt treat him like he was a threat.TDLR: Great company, with great staff plus their installers like pets. Would recommend and would go through them again for any of my HVAC needs.

The team at Colorados Finest is great. They are our go-to for not only HVAC work, but also plumbing and electrical. Theyve recently installed a whole house water filter, new recessed lighting in a bathroom, a generator outlet and two electric car charging stations for us. They offer the rare combination of good quality prompt service at affordable rates.

My A/C stopped working, so looking through the companies near by, Colorados Finest Heating and AC really stuck out to me. They are great reviews! I called and they quickly sent out a technician to access the problem. They told me with my units the age they were and the amount of extra work they were having to do to cool my house, it would be worth my while to replace them. The installation crew came out the next day and installed two A/Cs and Two furnaces for me!They did a great job! I waited 2+ weeks on the other company. Gabe arrived promptly with the part needed to get the furnace running again. He got it installed quickly and verified the heat was working. Jordan and Gabe from this company have meant the world to me and my home. They have been so very patient and worked around my schedule many times. They have turned panic-stricken moments, when my old hot water heater broke and flooded the basement and when my old swamp cooler went out in mid-July, into immediate solutions with kindness. I can call them anytime for something big or small and they come and fix it right away with a smile.

We had Colorados finest install a new furnace, AC, and move an electrical panel. We asked if they had an electrician and was told that they work hand in glove with the electrician.They never filed a permit for the furnace or the electricity. Their quote was comparable to two other services we consulted. Since the electrician broke the seal on the electrical box to do their work the city caught the work right away. We had the work done in June, we talked to Jordan about it and he promised to have the permit filed and let us know the cost. Since Im in contact with the city I know that he told them he would file a permit and has yet to do so.In addition, when the furnace was installed my husband found that the air intake was not finished according to the furnace installation instructions or how it was put in the work order. It took them a month to fix the issue. Jordan does not take responsibility for the work, he blamed the air intake issue on his assistant and the fact that he didnt file for a permit on previous customers asking he stop filing permits so the cost isnt included in the work.

We needed to replace our 14 year old heating and ac system. We had 6 different local top ten listed contractors out to bid on the system replacement. Based on the advice of what we really needed and quality of products and well as price we picked this company and could not be more pleased. Bids were all over the place and we got a very good price for a high end system that is the most efficient out there. Also was told as we were in Poudre Valley REA system we could not apply for a rebate as they were not an approved contractor for their area. I called them anyways and said this company had numerous certifications in their field and they said Oh we do not go by that list anymore as it involved a contractor training program that we had but no longer provide. In short we received a $3000 rebate for our system for electrical and $300 from excel for gas.

Jordan serviced my old furnace prior to installing the new one. What I like: Professional conduct, quality work, knowledgeable/competent, explains in detail the cost break down and options. I have recommended them to my brother in law where they installed a new water heater with equal satisfaction.

I am extremely happy I found Colorados Finest Heating and A/C. My air conditioning system stopped working and I called multiple local Boulder companies, all of which could not come diagnose my issue for a week. They all offered after hours service for a significant more amount of money. After reading such amazing reviews on Colorados Finest, I gave them a call. Jordan was able to come and diagnose my system the same day. Unfortunately my A/C unit needed to be replaced. I received a bid from Colorados Finest and also called other companies to get a ballpark figure on replacing the unit. All of the other companies came in higher and also had lower quality products compared to the Champion brand Colorados Finest installs. I called and scheduled my service with these guys and they were out within 48 hours to install my unit. Jordan and his crew were honest, polite, cleaned everything up very well and had great communication. After residing in Boulder county for over a decade and using other companies in the past, I am very glad I found these guys and will continue to use them for all my heating and air conditioning needs going forward.

I spoke w a tech named Jordan who simply asked me questions about my split system AC units to determine whether or not they could be contributing to the increasing allergy symptoms I have. He assured me that they were not bringing in any allergens, and that a service call was not needed. He saved me money, time and most of all gave me peace of mind. I will DEFINITELY call them when I really do have a heating or air conditioning problem!

As an elderly couple with teen grandchildren living with us, we can only say what a quality job was done replacing our failed 14 year old water heater was. Previous work over the last 2 years included repair of our furnace in mid winter and replacement of our 20 year old AC chiller in mid summer. I booked an appointment with Colorados Finest Heating and Air Conditioning to have them replace the thermostat in the house we just bought.Jordan showed up within the window of time they gave me when I scheduled the appointment. He even called ahead of time to let me know when, specifically, he anticipated being there. He was extremely helpful.He explained why he recommended this thermostat over something like Nest, supported his position, and convinced me that we were purchasing the best option. Installation was completed quickly. However, our AC was still not working, so he took a look at that as well. Gabe and Jordan were very professional. My furnace had a bad gas valve and another company told me that it would be $1200 to fix it and tried pushing a furnace on me. I called Colorado’s Finest and they fixed the same issue for $500. I would definitely recommend this company.

These people are not only user friendly, there is no feeling of their having an underlying agenda to get me to buy a new system or do costly repairs, and the price is competitive. And, they do a good job.I used their coupon to service my AC - they did not try to sell me a new one and did a fine job of fixing my sadly neglected older unit. A few months later I asked them to service my furnace and humidifier - the cost was MINIMAL and still no attempt to sell me a new set up and mine is older. PER MY REQUEST, Eric gave me a rough estimate of how much longer the system would most likely last and a ball park figure for the cost of a new complete set up.

Called on Friday at 3pm after another company told me they couldnt fix my furnace and that I needed a new control board on a 4 year old furnace. My furnace was working sporadically but after the first company left it did not work at all.No heat on the coldest night of the year so far. Colorados Finest Heating and Air came out on Sat at 9am and had me up and running within a half hour without an expensive board replacement. The tech Nate was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

We just had Colorado’s Finest install a new furnace. They did an outstanding job! The “they” is actually Jordan. I competed the job across three Longmont heating & air-conditioning firms. Two well-known outfits tried to sell me expensive equipment that I did not need. They also attempted to sell the idea that a complex “sizing” analysis was required as well as the need for two technician to perform this big installation. (I presume to justify their costs.) As a heat transfer engineer, I have a good idea of what is really required. Jordan, came in and quickly assessed what I needed and explained he could do this job by himself in 6 hours. After, double checking his calculations, I told him his low bid won the job. 48 hours later, I have a new furnace that was professionally installed and the house was left clean. So, if you feel more comfortable spending a lot of money on equipment that you don’t need and is expensive to maintain, go with someone else. As for me, I am VERY happy with Jordan and Colorado’s Finest.

What a wonderful company. I called this morning after installing my Nest thermostat, as there was an error code coming up, and all of the online literature I read indicated that it could be anything from a clogged pump to a wiring issue. Jordan spoke to me on the phone about my problem, and then advised me to flip two wires to a different port - one on the thermostat, and one on the furnace. I did it, and the problem was solved.They could have charged me a diagnostic fee, plus who knows what else, but instead saved me the time, hassle and money. The serviceman was very friendly. However from the start he tried to sell me a new furnace even before he inspected it. I asked him to please just repair my furnace. During the first visit he constantly talked down his competitors I waited 5 days for him to bring back a spare part. This did not fix the problem. He tried a few other things but none of them worked. Finally he just gave up, packed up his tools and left. On the way out he reminded me to call him if I wanted my furnace replaced.After publishing the above review I recieved 3 different texts from the serviceman the following day claiming misrepresentations. I finally requested that he stop texting me, drop this subject and to please move onI phoned the service person today to please return all of my original parts so my furnace could be returned to its original condition so another company could try to figure out what was wrong. I found these guys when getting quotes for a complete replacement of 2 full HVAC systems. Not only were they one of the better quotes - they were hands down the most knowledgable seeming and easiest to deal with in quotes and advice. We went with them and were so happy!!! I feel like I saved $5-6 grand and really enjoyed the process. They were so quick and respectful of my house and property and I had to do zero micromanaging of anything. I since had clients (Im a RE agent) call them for jobs and they have had nothing but rave reviews and responses.
