I hired A Better Way to install some electrical outlets in my garage for overhead lighting and run networking cable from my basement into my second floor rooms. I had a great first meeting with them to go over the layout of the house and to discuss the options we had available, and I was very happy with the flexibility and cost consciousness that I was met with. They very much are a what do you want to do? contractor versus a this is what we are willing to do contractor, and that is who I was looking for. A Better Way was happy to accommodate all of my requests and kept me in the know about all of the challenges and options once they got into the walls so that I could make informed decisions. I really felt like they were working with me to get the results I wanted within my budget, and I really appreciate that from a contractor. They were friendly, professional, and creative, and Ill definitely call on them again in the future.

Everyone I spoke with here has been really nice but I did have an issue with the cost for the job I had them do. I needed an outlet replaced in Louisville that wasnt a big deal. They arrived to find the tenant had already replaced the outlet but had wired it wrong. They swapped the wires and everything was good - somehow this cost $305. I asked for a breakdown of the bill and was told to call the office. I called the office and was told to call the electrician. I called the electrician who said yea sorry we had to drive there (longmont to louisville is 14miles) so I was charged for 2 hours of labor to swap 2 wires. The tech called me and said it was all fixed and they were in and out in 15 minutes. The tech did speak to me but said he cant do refunds because the owner wont allow it (I never spoke to the owner, nor did I ask to). The help and service I received was just fine - the price was just too high for what I had done.

Thank you to the Better Way Electric team for fixing the Open Ground issue I had on one of my home electrical circuits. The two techs they sent to look into the issue were professional and explained the situation to me. They tracked down the problem to an electrical box in my crawl space that I didnt even know existed.Very grateful for the excellent work and reasonable cost.

Duane and his motley crew show up on time, prepared and ready to do a knock out job. I presented them with a new type of project and they studied up, at the end of my project they did an absolutely fantastic job.The attention to detail is incredible. They wired a mobile solar system into my van and took extra care to ensure it was clean and organized beyond what I was expecting. They installed a solar charger, inverter and battery isolation unit. They came with components I was missing and gave me a great deal on the work they provided.They are easy to reach and receptive. Versus all the big business around Denver who are too important for one of a kind projects. Better Way Electric set themselves apart in a really positive way. Absolutely outstanding 👏

This review is not in relation to the work performed, but how I was treated afterwards. Better Way might be a very good electrician but the way they treat customers who question invoices is very unprofessional and insulting.I was referred to Better Way by another contractor to run a 20A circuit from a breaker box in my garage, to the far end of the garage. When the invoice came in at $940 I was surprised by the amount. When I questioned why it was so high, the explanation I received was that two technicians were there 4.5 hours. When I pushed back on this, I was threatened by legal action and treated like someone who was unable or unwilling to pay their bill. Eventually the owner called me and yelled at me for five minutes w/o hearing a single word I had to say. All I wanted was a full and complete explanation of why work I thought would take less time took two guys 4.5 hours and cost me nearly $1,000.I am a software entrepreneur who has built a company of 600 employees. I know what it is like to build and operate a business. I also know what good customer service is. This is not what I experienced. While I hate writing a bad review for a local small business, I feel compelled given just how terrible the customer experience and interaction was.

We were in a bind with a rental property, needing some work done quickly (like within 24 hours)! Called and it was scheduled and repaired in less than 24 hours. Fair pricing, great service team and I will use Better-Way for all of our electric needs.

I have an older home, had a outlet short out, called Better-way and they where out with in an hour. Need fixing right away as the breaker that tripped also control the garage door. Great Service!

I recently lost power in half the house, so it was sort of an emergency. I started with one of the bigger companies in the area but the price was crazy and they couldnt get it scheduled for a few weeks... I called around then talked to Dwayne at Better Way, he was honest, very knowledgable and easy to talk to. Greg came out the same day to look things over. They gave me a reasonable quote and got it fixed in just a few days. It was a big job that required digging up a power line, but the guys came out on Saturday worked their butts off (I mean something like 6 hours in the yard digging a power line up on a hot day) and got it fixed. As a side note when the inspector came out he said Better Way always does a great job so he never has any concerns about their work. I dont see any reason to work with anyone else. Just call Better Way.

Theyve done some good work for me in the past, however......Ive had a recurring problem with my dryer circuit for almost a year now, and it was fixed today, not by Better-Way but by another contractor. The issue with my dryer is that it seemed like it wasnt getting enough power to start it with anything but a very light load of clothes, and even then it didnt start right away like it should. Today, the electrician found that when my breaker box (totally redone by Better-Way about 3 or 4 years ago) was installed, then didnt connect the incoming main neutral lead to the ground like it was supposed to be. He fixed it, my dryer now starts instantly with a heavy load. Oh yes, the fellow from Better-Way was here not long ago to change out my dryer 220-volt outlet from 3 lead to newer 4 lead standard, and I told him about this issue, he didnt find anything wrong.

Better Way delivered a great solution to my home remodel project. The electricians were truly professional in understanding my desires and delivered a high quality product at an affordable price. The end product is a high value add to my home.
