What can I say. These guys are the best, they went above and beyond for us, I had requested that our family take care of our mom and it was approved. My sister dressed her, my cousin did her make up and my brother and I placed her in the coffin. Don’t know if any other place would have let us do that. My mom dressed us for years as kids, carried us and cleaned us through our younger years. It meant the world to us to be able and do the same for her in her last days with us.They are the best, and thank you Carmen for helping us make some decisions while going through some hard times.

In mine and my families most unexpected and heart breaking time of our lives the owners and staff were very helpful and kind. They went above and beyond for my fathers funeral and all the way up to his resting place. They took us step by step in every detail possible with such compassion. Never rushed us to make decisions. They provided everything we hoped and wished for. They made us feel as if we were family. I will be forever thankful to every person in that establishment, especially the owners Heath and Reanna. The Carroll-Lewellen team has helped out our family twice within the year with family members who have passed. Both situations were sudden and not expected. And both times it was wonderful to have the confidence that our family was in the best of care and work step by step with us. And in both cases personally had not had to deal with this before but representatives and owners helped and were very gracious with our situations. Would highly recommend them helping others as they did for us. This group is a blessing when times are difficult and helps take some of the weight off and makes sure that everything goes smoothly.

I highly recommend that anyone looking for any funeral or cremation services stay away from this location. The staff, specifically Elaine, was very unprofessional and apathetic. Elaine was completely inconsiderate of my family and the situation that we are dealing with. She took it upon herself to choose and order items such as an urn without running it by any family members first. After being told to cancel the unwanted urn, she continued to try and charge my family unnecessary fees. Once she was questioned about the hidden and unnecessary fees, she became angry and started yelling at my family members. She then carried on to tell us that the fees were “none of our business”. Not to mention, while we were clearly in mourning of our relative, Elaine continued to try and advertise and sell us items, while she very well knew about our families financial situation. When a family member called to tie some loose ends, Elaine was very rude and started to make some rude and unprofessional remarks. While she was clearly being offensive, she proceeded to hang up on my family member. She completely disregarded all of my families specific requests. She was only focused on selling and advertising. She has absolutely no compassion for the industry she works in and should not be here.

SHE WAS CLEARLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE KIDS OF THE FAMILY MEMBER WE LOST.. THINGS WERE GETTING OUT OF HAND AND THE BILL KEPT GETTING HIGHER AND HIGHER EVERYTIME WE LOOKED AWAY.. AT ONE POINT THE KIDS TURNED TO THE ADULTS FOR HELP DEALING WITH THE FUNERAL HOME, ONCE ELAINE WAS CONTACTED BY THE FAMILY SHE BEGAN TO GET NERVOUS AND TWISTING HER WORDS AS TO WHY THINGS WERE ON THE BILL THAT WERE ASKED NOT BE ORDERED, AND FAILED TO ANSWER CALLS AND EMAILS ABOUT WANTING MORE DETAILS ON WHAT EXACTLY THE CHARGERS WERE.. AFTER A BUNCH OF ROADBLOCKS TRYING TO GET ANSWERS, THE DAY BEFORE THE SERVICE MY NIECE HAD CONTACTED ELAINE AROUND 230PM TO ASK ABOUT PICKING UP THE ASHES, DURING THE CALL ELAINE TOLD THE KIDS THAT THE URN THEY ORDERED WAS NOT GOING TO BE HERE IN TIME FOR THE SERVICE DUE TO THE AIRPLANE HAVING ENGINE TROUBLE SO THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE THEM A KEEPSAKE ONE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.. ONE THE KIDS ASKED ELAINE TO JUST REMOVE THE URN THAT WAS ORDERED SHE FLIPPED OUT ON THE FAMILY.. A COUPLE OF US HAD CALLED TO SPEAK WITH HER TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND SHE THEN GOT VERY UPSET AND WAS YELLING AT INSULTING THE FAMILY MEMBERS TELLING THEM IT WAS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS .. SHE THEN EXPRESSED THAT THE OWNER WAS GOING TO REFUSE TO GIVE THEM THE KEEPSAKE URN SINCE THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER FOR THE OTHER ONE.. THAT RIGHT THERE SAYS MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS PLACE THAN ANYTHING ELSE I HAD MENTIONED HAPPENED...AFTER ELAINE TOLD THE KIDS THAT THE ASHES COULD BE PICKED UP AND THE REMAINING BALANCE COULD BE PAID OFF AFTER THE SERVICE SHE CHANGED HER MIND AND AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSING WE AS A FAMILY WERE SCRAMBLING TO GET THE REST OF WHAT WAS OWED BECAUSE HER SERVICE WAS THAT NEXT MORNING..SHE SAID IF SOMEONE WAS THERE BY 430 SHE WOULD WAIT, AFTER SHE GOT UPSET SHE TOLD THE KIDS SORRY I WILL GONE BY THAT TIME..ONE PERSON RUSHED OVER THERE TO CATCH HER SO WE COULD GET OUR SISTER AND SHE WAS GONE, MIND YOU THAT FAMILY MEMBER LIVES A FEW BLOCKS AWAY.. THEY KNOCKED AND A DIFFERENT LADY ANSWERED THE DOOR AND LET THEM IN WHILE THEY WAITED FOR THE OTHER ONE TO GET THERE WITH THE MONEY, THAT LADY TRIED TO SAY THEY DO THE BEST THEY CAN,, IF THAT IS THE BEST THEN THEY NEED TO BE FIRED... Our son unexpectedly passed away. Carroll-Lewellen Mortuary was very prompt in getting the body and getting it back to the mortuary. The care and kindness was unsurpassed. They made us feel like they had nothing else to do but take care of our needs and our son.When they came to the church and brought our son in their white herse, it was as if a white knight had pulled up to usher him into his final resting place.. - a celebration of his life, when I was expecting black death. They attended his body as if he were their son.They helped me with getting the insurance taken care of as well. I cant say anything higher for them. Heath is the one who held our hand all thru it. Every request we made was No, we asked for a family member who is a licensed hair dresser who works with other funeral homes ro do hair and makeup answer was No! She was 100% unprofessional, and rude. The worst customer service I have ever dealti wtih....and not to mention we are a grieving family and we had to deal with that heartless monster! If your family chooses this place for funeral arrangements request someone other than Elaine.

Obviously if we used the services of a mortuary we lost a dear loved one. I have never experienced this before but going to Carroll-Lewellen funeral home was such a positive experience for my sisters and I. They were warm and welcoming but even more than that, they allowed us to laugh and cry and be ourselves. It wasnt a somber depressing atmosphere at all. It was definitely the best experience we could have had in such a sad situation. We are so thankful for Heath and staff.

Called a few places near the area and they were by far the most helpful and actually listened to us. I would not recommend Carroll-Lewellen, Longmont to anyone, when my dad passed away he already had his funeral arrangements done and we had to keep getting in touch with them asking them questions they should have been calling us and said you guys should come in and lets go over you dads arrangements but when we finally did get an appointment they acted like we were a bother to them, we had to wait for death certificates longer than we should have messed up the flag box but did make it right, they were not friendly what so ever, just disappointed in how we were treated, dont know if it was because the arrangements were made already or not but thats how we felt that since everything was paid for they didnt want our services let alone provide their best service

I had met with them at the funeral home to plan the funeral for my wife who passed in a car accident on sept 11 2012. The folks there that operate this funeral home went above an beyond for my family and I. They helped with every aspect as you can imagine I was not all there and keeping it together well. If you ever need a funeral home in the Longmont area I would only ever call them.

Met with the employee on a Friday afternoon about doing funeral for my niece. He had been drinking prior to our meeting. Smelled horrible and talked to us like we were children. Went to a different mortruary to funeral.

They did an amazing job in our time of grief
