The first time I stepped into that placed, I felt cared about. Dr. Tyler is so knowledgeable and friendly. My back was pretty beat up but Dr. Tyler was positive and helped me to get back to shape of my life. Visit this place if you are in need of a chiropractor, you won’t be disappointed! :)

Dr. Tyler is a fantastic chiropractor! He has seen me through many different issues with my back & neck- but also issues with feet, wrist, and knee pain. This is a very family friendly office. Tess helps with my kiddos during my adjustment & there are things for my kids to do! They truly care about my care and our entire family. I highly recommend this practice!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Tyler for treatment for almost a year. Now I cant imagine going without seeing him for adjustments. Due to the recent COVID closures, I got a dose of not having these regular visits and I can feel that I am not optimizing my body at its highest potential. I recently had some back pain flare ups from my bulging disks in my lower spine. Dr. Tyler was caring and compassionate and saw me for an emergency visit which has enabled me to continue working. If you are seeking the highest quality chiropractic care, you have found it! Im sure that I have. Thank you for what you do Dr. Tyler, you are truly living your vocation and I thank God for you and all your hard work to help people reach and maintain health so they can work and live out their calling.

I am so extremely thankful for Maggie’s care team. We aren’t traditional in our health care routine. I don’t believe every body can handle or tolerate the same foods, medicines, chemicals, or all the things we encounter daily. We learned that early on in Maggie’s life and have had to adjust what we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the products we clean with- we’ve adjusted our lives, learned new ideas, tried new things, opened our minds, so she can live hers. Every body is uniquely made. Every body requires it’s unique care. And Joel and I have fought HARD to give Maggie the best care for her unique body so she can thrive.I love our primary care physician because she knows she isn’t the one we go to first when our family has health issues. And she respects that! She is an amazing traditional doctor and has given me solid advice and I deeply respect her. (If you’d like her name, I’ll gladly share it!)Instead, when someone is sick in our family we call Dr. Tyler Perkins. He is such a man of integrity and has a wealth of knowledge. In fact, he came to our home this past Saturday to adjust Maggie because she wasn’t feeling well. (And he’s done this on numerous occasions when Maggie has had health issues.) We were supposed to head out on a road trip Sunday and I was freaking out (like all good moms do) about how we were going to make this all happen. I texted Doc T, he came to our home (ON A SATURDAY) and did his thing. Maggie rested, drank water, and let her body heal. I’m thankful to be surrounded by people who CARE for my family in all the ways that CARE is defined:Noun1. The provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, and protection of someone2. Serious attention to doing something correctlyVerb1. Feel concern or interest2. Look after and provide for the needs ofIf you are in need of care and are local, reach out to Dr. Tyler Perkins. He is the best of the best.

Dr. Tyler Perkins of Active Family Chiropractic is definitely the best chiropractor Ive been to! Dr. Tyler is unique to the Longmont area in that, he is the only chiropractor certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This was especially valuable to me as a pregnant momma for the first time in my mid 40s! His patients love him for the relief and harmony the adjustments provide. Parents respect him as a knowledgeable and passionate provider and advocate for childrens health. Kids trust him because hes kind, friendly and fun! My 20 month old daughter is happy and at ease when Dr. Tyler picks her up for an adjustment. She trusts him, and that is extremely important to me! The only thing she complains about is the end of her turn.My family and I have been patients of Active Family Chiropractic for about 2 years now. My daughter had her first chiropractic adjustment on the second day of her life. After having gone through a C-section, in which she was hauled out by her head and neck, those first few adjustments helped her experience a much smoother transition from the womb to the outside world. To this day, she continues to exude delight when it is her turn on the adjustment table!

I went to Dr. Tyler with a back injury from military service. He was able to address the root cause of the problem that hadnt yet been identified. With treatment, I am able to do things I never thought Id be able to. Continued chiropractic care keeps me healthy and active. I cant recommend this place enough.

My grandmother has had knee issues even after seeing other chiropractors. The doctors wants her to have knee surgery. After a few weeks with Dr. Tyler, there has been a noticeable improvement. She can now walk up and down stairs much easier. I recommend him above the others due to his personal interest in her well-being.

Trust, skill, care... these are just some of the words that easily come to mind when I think of Dr. Tyler! Ive had the experience of going to good chiropractors and not-so-good chiros in the past. I would say that Dr. Tyler surpasses the care that Ive ever received. He wants his clients to live optimally and his chiropractic skills reflect that. I am proud to be a client of his and to also send my clients to him.

Dr. Tylers practice welcomed us into a warm & friendly environment where we were met & treated with knowledge, expertise, a listening ear, & respect. My son has suffered from periodic migraines since he was a toddler. I wish I had been aware of the option & importance of chiropractic care a lot earlier so that I would have been better able to help my son. Under Dr. Tylers expertise, my son has been relieved of migraines! Thank you Active Family Chiropractic!

Dr Tyler is the best. In the past 25 years Ive been to ~15 chiropractors in 4 states. Ive been going to Active Family for nearly a year and the weekly adjustments have dramatically helped my posture and pain. Dr Tyler has everything you could want in a chiropractor. He is very technically sound and can explain in great detail the mechanisms behind your pain and subluxations if you ask (which I usually do). Dr Tyler has an amazing touch - it can be difficult to relax when a chiropractor adjusts your neck, but he is so fluid and gentle that i dont even think about it anymore. Im a big 220 lb guy and he can easily handle me and then adjust a small child in the span of a couple minutes. Active family is reasonably priced, will customize a plan to work with your life, and everyone is very friendly. In my case, he has almost worked himself out of a job, but I still go in for maintenance. Active family chiropractic has my highest recommendation!

Although I have only had one chiropractic experience in my past, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Dr. Tyler is different from most. I love his holistic approach to chiropractic care and his goal of getting at the root of the issue, when so many other doctors just treat symptoms, never truly finding the real cause of the symptoms. He is a wonderful, caring and gentle chiropractor. He has state of the art technology to aide him in finding problems other doctors cannot. I feel much better since I started going and am excited to see how my body adjusts along the way! I am extremely impressed and so glad I found Active Family Chiropractic!

My midwife recommended me to Dr. Tyler at Active Family Chiropractic. She said he did specific treatments just for pregnant women and even after birth for both mom and baby. I had been having pelvic issues, numbness and sciatica pain throughout my pregnancy and it got to the point where I was having trouble walking. Dr. Tyler was the most thorough chiropractor I had ever been to! I only wish I had found him earlier than 36 weeks pregnant! He spent alot if time getting my hips into alignment even long after my pregnancy. Besides my wonderful midwife, Dr. Tyler was actually the first doctor that treated my baby (I had a homebirth). And now approaching 4 years later we continue to see him every month. Dr. Tyler is more than our family chiropractor, his has become our trusted medical advisor and friend!

Expectant Moms - Take Note!Thank you dr Tyler and Heather Perkins from Active Family Chiropractic for keeping me active, climbing stairs, hiking and simply walking during my recent pregnancy. I have been meaning to share my recent experience with all the expectant moms. In February I gave birth to my fourth child, and I literally owe my mobility (and subsequent sanity) to dr Tyler at Active Family Chiropractic. In my previous pregnancies I began suffering from Pubic Symphasis Dysfunction (separation) at six month. With this condition your pubic joint hurts when you get out of bed, climb stairs and sometimes simply walk. It was extremely painful and I spent the final months of my pregnancies limping, taking one stair at a time and driving everywhere even though I lived in a city in the Netherlands at the time!In my recent pregnancy, the pain set in at around 16 weeks. Three older children (6, 3, 1), a puppy and homeschooling meant I had to stay mobile. I had learned about Active Family Chiropractic through a friend before I got pregnant, and we were already familiar with the practice as a family, so I was happy to see dr Tyler during my pregnancy. The chiropractic care I received was amazing and I noticed an immediate difference in my pain and mobility. Multiple times a week, dr Tyler battled against that pesky pregnancy hormone relaxin (which makes it easy for your skeletal structure to slip out of alignment) and brought my body back into alignment.Chiropractic care was not a quick fix, it required a commitment on my part to continue with regular treatments throughout my pregnancy. But each treatment brought me such relief that even when we agreed to lower the frequency of my visits, due to tiredness on my end, I would schedule an emergency appointment if I felt that my pelvis was shifting and the pain was returning.Dr Tyler kept me walking, climbing stairs, and even hiking right up until the day I gave birth. So if you are pregnant, I suggest you visit dr Tyler to maintain your health and mobility. Dont wait until you have pain, be proactive!
