Dr. Dorr is fantastic and miss having him as my Dr. He has taken care of me since 2009 as well as my family and friends. He is a compassionate and knowledgeable expert in his field. He delivered my 2nd child, did my endometrial ablation and tubal ligation and ultimately my hysterectomy. He has always been caring and concerned for my well being. I trust him completely and wish he practiced in AZ!

This entire office is a malpractice suit waiting to happen. Things you should know:1. Dr. Watson leaves for weeks at a time to go overseas.2. I was directed to make my first and subsequent appt with the nurse practitioner, who I was assured would give me the same standard of care as the doctor - you know, because he was overseas for a month. She saw me, didnt listen to me, ordered an unnecessary test...and then said shed have to have me see the doctor. Waste of time and money.3. Dr. Watson is very nice, but if you ask for research on the benefits of estrogen, progesterone and testosterone (because you have a family history of heart disease and breast cancer), he has none to offer.4. He will suggest pellets - over and over and over - even after you tell him you are not interested in pellet therapy...over and over and over.5. He and his staff do not return phone calls. I literally had to say, this is my third voicemail and I will assume if I dont hear back from you, you do not want me as a patient in order to get a call back.6. There is better communication via the portal - BUT, if your email address has ever been used by Athena with another practice, you will have to create a NEW email address for use with this office.7. The last question I had via the portal regarding some unwanted side effects of increased progesterone (he had previously advised me to increase from 115mg to 230mg) was answered by a medical assistant (who had not consulted with the doctor). She informed me I should begin testosterone therapy - you know, even though Im already on testosterone through their office!!! When I asked her to have Dr. Watson respond to me personally, he told me to increase the progesterone - you know, even though I already had and was asking for help with the side effects of the increase!!!! When I called him out for not reading my message, he....wait for it....DIDNT RESPOND. That was a week ago.Here is my take on Dr. Watson and his staff:He spends part of his time here and part of his time in Europe. They are huge proponents of pellet therapy - they dont have to turn it into insurance and he cant make any adjustments for three months. Seems like a no-brainer. A lot less work and a lot more money. If you are a very straightforward case and do not need ANY handholding, this is your office! If your body is in any way sensitive and you expect some attention, find another practice.

I love both doctors Watson and Dorr. They are extremely thorough, very professional, and always cutting edge. The nurses, admin, and assistant staff at Littleton hospital couldnt have said more about my doctors, all complementary. I just underwent my very first surgery and Dr Watson was so caring and made sure I understood everything that would happen. He then called me the next morning to check on me since I was able to go home the same day. I highly recommend both doctors!

Be aware and prepared!!! They charge you before anything is being done, even if you have insurance that they accept. Just received a bill for procedure that needs to be done next week. They want $600 up front!I have been a patient of them for 6 years. Have insurance, always paid for what is needed of me to pay after it goes through insurance. Cant take this anymore. Going to see someone else. There are plenty of qualified professionals out there.You should reconsider.

I just had an annual visit and the dynamics with the doctor we’re definitely different. I have been going there for over 14 years. This was my first visit since they changed their name and turned the main focus to hormone replacement therapy. The front office staff was very personable as they were in the past but didn’t feel that from the doctor. It just seemed more business like then personable. Disappointed.

Its apparent that all this practice cares about is money. They do not care about your health and well-being. They are greatly overpriced, they consistently overcharge or bill incorrectly, and they are absolutely horrible about responding to voicemails and emails, especially when it comes to a billing question or issue. There are hundreds of other doctors to choose from in this area if you just do a simple search. Many other practices/doctors offer the same services for lower prices and much better customer service. Dont waste your time or money going here.

Absolutely disappointed with Dr. Dorr. I try to be a very understanding person, but when a Doctor gives their word they will continue to see me when I change insurances because of my situation, and then changes mind because there’s been a “change on the business side” and a Doctor out of the office, and their office is busy, They can’t see me.... It was busy when I discussed this with him, before and after my 2nd surgery for a hysterectomy - the 1st was partial and the 2nd was complete, had a follow up and discussed hormones, and still prescribed my hormones, knowing my insurances changed, as this was discussed again with MA and relayed to Dr Dorr, per MA. I called to discuss an issue with my breast and now they won’t see me. Nothing like backing out when really needed and then refer me to a doctor they state they don’t know if she is taking new patients.... I am a licensed Mammography Technologist and can only imagine if someone else with actual breast cancer, or aggressive breast Cancer were done this way. I thought I finally found a great Doctor, That truly cared, then this. I have referred Dr Dorr so highly and freely when anyone is asking about Doctors or talking about hormonal imbalances. I hope any that have gone with him do not end up as wholeheartedly let down as I have.

Dr. Dorr and his staff are so kind and helpful. He did a laproscopic surgery on me a few years ago and fixed a lot of my endometriosis pain. It had been years that I dealt with pain and although my pelvic ultrasound didn’t necessary show a lot of scarring he took me at my word for my symptoms and relieved me of scarring, cysts and a tumor that hadnt otherwise been found! He always spends a lot of time and care answering my questions and concerns and I have never felt rushed while in his care. He provides A+ 1st rate care!

Let me begin by sayin Dr.s Dorr (and Watson) ARE THE BEST!!!Below is my story, if you want to know the how and why I came to them.This story is a bit detailed because I want any other women that might run into these issues to understand that there are ALWAYS other choices... I was FINALLY thru the change (I changed from being nice, fun and fabulous to nasty, mean and FAT) and not on any hormone replacements. From an info-ad on TV I heard about a MedSpa in Littleton that thru the use of a laser could help with vaginal dryness (one of those many change gifts, along with zero libido, dry skin, did I mention grumpy and fat? ).I went in for a consultation and decided to have the laser procedure done. It helped immensely. Then the R.N. there said she would like me to have some blood work done so they could check on my hormone levels. When my labs came back, they showed that as far as hormones go, I was on EMPTY. They recommended to me Bio-T hormone replacement pellets and so I had them placed the next week. My main complaint was that there wasnt any mention of the side affects. i.e., hair loss, hair growth (in places you dont want any), escalation of libido (like a 16 year old boy never dreamed of) and of course my favorite, the return of vaginal bleeding (with no rhyme or reason)... The good news was I finally felt like my old self again, as far as mood and disposition, and my family was elated about that (what do they care if Im living with pads and tampons, just as long as Im finally nice to them again). Well after 3 or 4 hormone treatments we finally got the dosage calibrated so that all the side effects (with the exception of the bleeding subsided). At my next appointment I discussed my bleeding issues with my then OBGYN. I asked if maybe I should just get the darn uterus out. Her recommendation was to do a day-surgery D & C. After that, we could talk about it? I LOVE general anesthesia just like the next gal but sheeesh, really more than once?At my next Med-Spa appointment for Pellets, the Dr. that owns the clinic was there and he placed them. While applying a pressure to the incision he questioned me about the bleeding, then he discussed with me in detail the probable need for a hysterectomy and he recommended that he or any one that does them laparoscopically be considered and it was when he mentioned the C word, that he really got my attention!So I went home and I started researching Dr.s and methods and realized that I had several choices (the med-spa docs actual practice was too far away to consider). For me the safest and least damaging method being a laparoscopic/robotic complete hysterectomy. The top docs whos names kept coming up were Dr. Watson and Dr. Dorr. I made and appointment and went in and from the very first visit I was completely at ease. Dr. Watsons examination was the most gentle one I have EVER had and they explained in easy laymens terms what and how EVERYTHING would be done. Dr Dorr also offered to take care of my droopy old bladder with a brand new sling. He had to do some funky testing, but he was gentle and caring.I am now 9 weeks post op and EVERYTHING is healed and doing great. We have eliminated the possibility of at least 3 of the cancers that can get us women (cervical, uterine & ovarian). I FINALLY have control of my bladder. And come to find out, they do hormone replacement too. In fact, the exact same kind as the MedSpa except theirs comes with a complete list of possible side affects as well as treatments to prevent or eliminate them!These 2 Docs are the BEST!!!!!!

Dr. Dorr is fantastic! Both Dr. Dorr and Watson performed my c-section and both were great. I love the office as I always felt welcomed and the nurses were friendly. I didnt see Dr. Watson but a couple of times and I had no complaint, but I can tell you that Dr. Dorr is optimistic, friendly, knowledgeable and has great bedside manor. I felt safe and trusted this practice to deliver my 4th child which was a my 4th C-section. To my surprise not all Dr.s are comfortable with delivering a baby where the c-section might be more risky than the normal. So I was happy to find this practice and to have the experience and expertise of these Dr.s on my side. They delivered my daughter without hesitation or complication and I also received excellent care after the delivery. I would definitely recommend the practice to anyone needing an obgyn, I wish I had all 4 of my babies delivered by Dr.Dorr and Dr. Watson, and my review is NOT paid (;

Wouldnt any doctor be concerned if a patient had an adverse reaction to a therapy? Wouldnt he call to give advice? Not here. I went in for an annual exam and T-Pellet HRT. Insurance pays for one annual and pap. Hes in network & does the pellets. He spent a lot of time going into the chemistry aspect (a bit over my head). Blood was drawn; I was a good candidate and pellets were inserted 2 weeks later. I got the bilI and called 3 different days before getting a response; I was asking them to resubmit under a wellness code because of the pap and breast exam plus I had 3 more visits to pay for. Because of all the time he spent with me, they refused. The pellets set something off (maybe aggravating my Hoshimotos?); I tearfully explained to the office manager Im in distress and very uncomfortable; she said she would have to bill if the Dr. called but shed have the PA call. A week later, Im still waiting. I have a long 4 or 5 months for these pellets to dissolve. Ive cancelled follow up visits. Another $700 out of pocket seems a waste of money and time.

I write this review with a heavy heart. I had been to this practice for years for well woman checkups and liked them, but when my husband and I tried to start a family, things went horribly wrong. Unfortunately, when I miscarried, I made the mistake of calling them and asking if I should go there or the ER. They worked me into their schedule with good intentions, but shouldnt have. The nurses were very dispassionate and in one case even cruel to me as a mother experiencing the loss of her child which made the experience nearly unbearable. No doctor was available for me to speak to or help me, so in the end I was sent home without even a confirmation it was a miscarriage (which the ER would have at least given me along with something for the pain which is the equivalent of having your bones shattered every 5 min until its over). It took 5 days before they would even confirm the miscarriage, but by then, I already knew... but as a first pregnancy, you still hold out hope.If you do want to be a patient here, maybe someday the owner will figure out whats happening in his office and change it for the better, but know that you have to be your own advocate and the nurses will do everything in their power to prevent you from speaking to a doctor, even in an emergency. They will go as far as promise you the dr will call you to talk to you about your concerns and then never does.
